Its usually a pain having to get a damaged car sorted out but not with this company. They handled absolutely everything. Communication personalised but fast, accurate, friendly. At least from personal experience I am struggling to think of any Company doing customer service better than FMG in Bridgend. Incredible.

The FMG Experience…
Began with telephone contact with their customer service team. Each time I spoke to someone they were polite cheerful and helpful. Even when I returned a call back to one of the ladies personal mobile phones, she pointed that out but wasn’t rude and still helped me. The only thing I will say is the phones sometimes rang out so I would have to try at another time when I was trying to reach them. I was apologised to about that even though I didn’t say that I had tried to call before on that day.

My car was collected and put on a transporter and I was grateful for that. Not every business does this service and they should. Regardless of whether or not your car is drive-able. That is not good practice. Anyway off my baby went to repair her little bruise as my friend put it. She was repaired speedily and to an excellent standard.

When she was returned back to me, she was sparkling like brand new and her interior was vacuumed and dusted. I really appreciate FMG Walsall Bentley Road South.

Still waiting for someone to take ownership
Our stationary vehicle was hit by a driver whose vehicle is managed by Tusker. Following the accident, we received correspondence from FMG/Tusker Accident Management confirming that the incident had been logged, providing claim reference TUS05014917, and directing us to FMG Connect to track the claim and communicate about the repair.
Despite this, we are still waiting for the repair to be authorised and have received no substantive response from FMG explaining what is causing the delay or who is actually responsible for progressing the authorisation.
We are the innocent third party in this accident. We didn't cause it, yet we are the ones having to chase different organisations simply to establish who is dealing with the claim and when our vehicle will finally be repaired.
At this point I don't need another generic update or another organisation to contact. I need someone managing this claim to take ownership and tell me:
Who is responsible for authorising the repair, what exactly is outstanding, and when will the repair be authorised?
The communication and lack of ownership so far have been extremely disappointing.
I will happily update this review when FMG provides a meaningful response and the claim actually progresses.

The service was excellent and was kept up to date regularly. The staff were always happy to help.

Appalling service, FMG handled a third party repair of my Audi using Alton Cars - 'Ashbourne' in February 2026. the repair was sub standard Bad colour match, inclusions, orange peel finish, fish eye marks. FMG employed an independent assessor who also agreed the repair was poor this was in April 2026. with the backing of the report from the assessor i was offered by my FMG claim handler the option to take my car to another garage to carry out the rectification work, which was agreed. 5 months later I am still waiting to get the go ahead from FMG to take my car into the agreed new body shop to complete the rectification work.
no one returns calls, no emails, no updates, even after repeated request to speak to someone in a managerial role within the complaints team to try and progress this complaint nothing.

Had my work car sorted and was “patterned” with a courtesy vehicle!

Great service from start to finish, Tracy who was dealing with the communication was totally professional, and such a nice lady is an asset to the business. Excellent repair.

Seen some negative reviews on here but in my experience I have no faults ! Repairs took longer than I expected but was provided with a nice courtesy car throughout and repairs were done to an excellent standard. Was kept informed throughout so don’t have any negative comments ! For me they give great service !

These guys have been great. Our car looks great after the repairs. We were kept up to date regularly and the job was done earlier than we expected. So good to have our car back! Thanks everyone at FMG!!

Dropped vehicle off reception was great very friendly and helpful was sent updates with stages vehicle was going through from initial inspection strip down paint built back up final prep so I was never unsure what was going on they told me vehicle was ready offered to drop at my house I wasn’t in but they followed my instructions with key drop etc then when I seen car later I was very impressed with workmanship they also gave it good clean inside and out excellent job won’t hesitate to call if need something done near top golf rutherglen would recommend 👍

Great professionalism and integrity

The repair was faster than expected. When I looked at the car after the repair it was like looking at a brand new car. And the staff were all very helpful.

All aspects of the way FMG handled the repair were first class and processed in a way that caused me least inconvenience. - highly recommended !!!
