Awful experience. CIEE partners with them for flight vouchers, and they neglected to send out the vouchers for nearly an entire cohort. Students were made to pay extreme costs out of pocket due to their negligence, and the customer service was absolutely horrendous.

J'utilise ce site depuis longtemps sur le conseil d'un ami parce que je ne suis pas à l'aise avec la réservation de voyage, j'ai toujours peur de faire une bêtise. C'est plutôt pratique et ils essayent toujours de trouver le meilleur parcours et prix possible. Après, un des points ennuyeux est qu'ils réservent en dollars US donc on peut avoir des frais de change, mais le service est plutôt très bon. J'ai été aidé plusieurs fois par Frédéric qui est une personne très bienveillante et rassurante, c'est vraiment très réconfortant pour moi qui suis un grand stressé des voyages

This company sold me a flight on a major carrier but failed to disclose that it was “operated by” a budget airline. Their initial response was: “why does it matter”. When I requested that they remedy the situation, they refused to take responsibility or switch the flight to a major airline without charging ME the fare difference. A rude European agent named Fred then accused me of “just wanting money”. He later attributed his comments to a language barrier.

After arguing with Fred much longer than necessary, he got back to me to tell me that he had been able to change my son’s flight to return home on a major carrier in the premium economy cabin. Fred made me feel like he did me a huge favor. I really appreciated that he corrected his error, but the mistreatment I endured to get what I purchased was inexcusable, This week I received an email from Fred apologizing for his behavior back in July and asking me to consider updating this review (which I have done here). I appreciate and accept Fred’s apology and, in exchange, I increased his star rating by one star for his belated apology and effort to explain his previous comments to me.

Our organization operates student exchange programs and we’ve been working with the team at Flightfox to get help with planning and booking our group flights for about four years. Andres is especially amazing. He’s helped with myriad issues across five continents at what always seems to be the middle of the night. While our main business is travel, we’re so glad his team has taken over everything to do with flights since it was previously very frustrating to do this ourselves.

Our university recently partnered with Flightfox to coordinate travel for a large student exchange program, involving over 53 students traveling to Europe. The experience was outstanding from start to finish.

Organizing travel is usually a logistical nightmare for us. Flightfox worked directly with our students to get everyone's info and got them booked without my involvement. I would normally spend weeks chasing everyone up.

What impressed me most was their responsiveness and problem-solving skills. When a last-minute flight change affected our group, Flightfox was already on the phone rearranging plans.

STAY AWAY I WAS FORCED TO BOOK WITH THEM AND EVERY TIME THEY SENT A QUOTE IT WAS ALWAYS HIGHER!!! JUST GOING ON THE AIRLINE SITE AND BOOK FOR YOURSELF!! The customer service acts clueless!!! Not worth your headache worst booking experience ever!!

I faced significant issues with Flightfox, including an incorrect booking which they failed to rectify properly. The customer service was passive-aggressive, and there was a noticeable lack of an effective complaints handling process. This experience fell far below my expectations, highlighting serious shortcomings in both service and resolution efficiency.

Response time is usually quick. But anything they find is pretty easy to just find yourself… self explanatory. The time you spend back and fourth with your requirements you could just spend on looking at your own flights/accom. Been running since 2011 but seems it’s not been updated since then either. Needs an app!

I agree nowadays they are not that competitive anymore. I used them previously to book Business Class ticket and we really can get some cheap price. But with today technology, basically you can search what they offer yourself with some works and their "expert" are not doing their good job anymore. I heard that a lot of people can't get refund even they are not satisfy with their offer. If they offer USD 5 cheaper than what you search through some like skyscanner, then what's the point you pay them USD 150 for their service.

I have used this service in the past successfully. Unfortunately, my latest experience was not so great. It is almost impossible to get a refund even if you are not happy with the provided flight details and even if no booking details were provided.
My current experience is that the "experts" are not doing anything special than to search the usual flight aggregators. Something that if you have the time and the patience you can do on your own. No "special" trick was provided. No complicated schemes where you are supposed to buy miles at a discounted price and use them to book the flight will be provided.
Cannot recommend this service anymore.

The team are good at what they do, and also honest if they can't find a great option for you. Have used several times and I like!

I had a complex international multi-city trip to book and, although I pride myself on my ability to find great connections and great prices given the time, I just couldn't make this trip work. But Flightfox did . . . within an hour . . . and met my goals in pricing and timing. Yes, it charges a fee, but in my case, it was well worth it and covered by my ultimate savings in fares.

Highly recommended. We saved a lot of money by using Flightfox for our upcoming trip and the trick was so easy (for our particular flight), so we even learned something. I will definitely use them again for all future travels.
