A word of caution to any business considering subscription-based training, HR, compliance, or software services.

In my experience, once you are in the contract, you may find it extremely difficult to be released, even if your business circumstances change completely.

A Caring Hand Limited previously employed around 40 carers. We now have no carers employed at all, no clients, and no meaningful operational need for the services. I have explained this, but I have found out the hard way that Citation appears to rely strictly on its contracts.

The agreements I am currently tied into are:

Combined H&S and HR Compliance Services & On-Site Risk Assessment Support
Start date: 13/02/2023 — End date: 12/11/2028

Care Policies and Procedures (Domiciliary England)
Start date: 16/08/2023 — End date: 15/11/2028

CQC Pro – Care
Start date: 28/03/2024 — End date: 27/03/2029

Before signing anything similar, make sure you fully understand the contract terms, especially the minimum term, notice period, automatic renewal clause, cancellation process, and any settlement charges.

Do not rely on verbal assurances from a salesperson. Ask for written confirmation that the agreement will not roll into another long-term contract unless you give fresh written consent.

There are often safer alternatives. Pay-per-course online training allows you to buy only what you need, when you need it, without committing to a subscription, automatic renewal, or minimum term.

Free or low-cost sector resources may also be useful for policy awareness or refresher training, although businesses should always check whether they are acceptable as evidence for CQC, compliance, or training records.

In my experience, it is very easy for a business to become trapped in a service that may no longer be needed, especially if circumstances change. Always check the small print carefully, get the cancellation terms in writing, and make sure you understand exactly what you are agreeing to before signing anything.

I wrote a review on 22nd November 2025, with evidence of their useless reports. Some 6 months later, I am still waiting for a resolution. Not a word (apart from sending an invoice each month). Flexebee are not responding. Here is evidence that their Care Certificate reporting is nonsense. It is strange how everyone was online for 48 minutes. They are like a scam they have taken £600 for allocation of online courses but since one month didn’t give any course credits whenever I phone I have same reply that someone will contact you but they never contact. Sent many emails but no response for emails I have asked reception to forward my call to someone senior but he said he is not allowed to pass on my calls or pass on any contact details of their senior he is only recruited to say one sentence that someone will contact you. I think they are using this company for only grabbing money by doing fraud.

Customer service is off. I could give a zero. They shouldn't be involved in care at all because in care everything is urgent but they dont have any. If you call they take a msg promise to ring back but noone does they do that to their paying customers. Its been 3 weeks noone has call us back if you email, they will email back at 2:30am with the same shit someone will be contact which never happen. Then the close their case.

I am very disappointed with the way Flexibee has dealt with us.
We had been customers for some time, and while the service may have had some value when our business was fully operating, our circumstances have now changed completely.
Our business was dedicated to looking after elderly clients and relied heavily on overseas workers. After our licence to employ overseas workers was revoked, we lost the ability to continue operating in the same way. This left us with no carers and no clients, meaning we no longer have any practical use for Flexibee’s service.
Despite this, Flexibee is continuing to rely on its contract and automatic renewal terms, and is insisting that we continue paying for a service that is no longer of any meaningful use to us. In my opinion, this is unreasonable and shows very poor customer care.
What made the situation worse was the response I received when I spoke to Flexibee about it. My impression was that the accounts manager treated the matter as simply “tough, the contract is the contract.” I also felt that the seriousness of our situation was not taken seriously. When I explained that businesses often feel they have little choice but to sign these types of contracts, the response came across to me as dismissive, with reference being made to their legal team.
That attitude was very disappointing. We were not trying to avoid paying for something we were using. We were explaining that our business circumstances had changed drastically, that we no longer had carers or clients, and that Flexibee could no longer provide us with any real practical benefit.
This is especially disappointing because we were in similar automatic renewal arrangements with other subscription service providers. Those companies dealt with the situation reasonably. They thanked us for our custom, wished us well, said they hoped we would return once we had sorted the situation and began trading again, charged us only to the end of the month, and then released us from the contract. Because of the way they treated us, we would be happy to deal with them again in future.
Flexibee’s approach has been very different. In my opinion, continuing to charge a business that has no carers, no clients, and no practical use for the service is unfair and unreasonable.
My review is based on my honest experience and opinion. I would advise other business owners to read the contract and automatic renewal terms extremely carefully before signing or continuing with Flexibee, especially if there is any chance their business circumstances may change.

I had a very great experience while being tutored. The class was very engaging and the facilitator gave the opportunity to do some practical tasks which really helped me discover my areas of weakness, and noted for possible future improvement. I'm definitely not the same person as I was before I started the course.

an organisation which professes to be proffessional and when you call, no one wants to speak to you other than a message that someone is aware and will call you. Doesn't happen. And email.. and you get a support ticket and I ask for what? Because no one wants to deal with it!

PAID FOR A COURSE IN FULL, BOOKED TRAIN TICKETS TO ATTEND THE COURSE. THEY RANG ME THE NIGHT BEFORE THE COURSE WAS DUE TO START AND CANCELLED IT. I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM SINCE AFTER NUMEROUS CALLS AND EMAILS

Flexebee are a good online training company which we used for our 5 members of staff. We have been with them for 18 months. Unfortunately we are closing our doors. Gave 3 months notice but they have a policy that you have to pay for the full year regardless. Not told this at the beginning and would not recommend unless you want to be tied in for that long a period.

Terrible support services, do not answer when you call with your main number, call on witheld they answer and advise an urgent call back will be scheduled over 24 hours still waiting for call back rude reception hung up the line when asking to define timelines in “urgent call backs”

This is the worst training company available. The comnunication with the team once you have actually booked in your course is non existent and if you even try to get through to someone or call customer support, you will just get through to a prerecorded voicemail. DO NOT USE THEM.

The way Matt the trainer presented the course for Train the trainer in Moving & Positioning was fantastic.
Information was all that we needed and more, it was delivered very well throughout the two days.
Matt made everyone feel relaxed straight from the start and we knew what we would be learning and how this was going to be taught over the two days.

Facilitator was enganging and the whole training was fun and very informative

Today, I have received a Train the Trainer Course from Rosie Cawthorne. Rosie is a true professional, has great knowledge and a relaxed teaching style in which she conveyed a large amount of information, but at no point did it feel rushed. I last formally taught 30 yrs ago on a classroom basis, more recently on a 1 to 1 basis, so this was a great opportunity to refresh my skills. I would thoroughly recommend Rosie to anyone.
