Good overall. Only criticism is packing. Just wrapping a cardboard sleeve around a drill battery and then leaving it loose in a larger cardboard box isn't great, although it arrived unscathed.

Choice of courier let them down
Ordered a pack of 27mm spit nails from this website, I would have given 5 stars due to been the cheapest online price and dispatched very quickly, however, please change your courier provider. DPD 9/10 will always deliver to a safe place, as a tradesman most often than not we’re not going to be home to sign for a parcel. Fed Ex are completely useless, I received a notification saying the package was delivered and signed for by me, I have full cctv coverage and no FedEx person stepped foot on my property, the proof of delivery picture was a picture of my house from the distance, probably taken whilst still driving on the road or screenshot from google street view, after raising a complaint that afternoon, miraculously my package was left on my doorstep the same evening, funny that as I apparently signed for it earlier that day, clowns. This company would certainly get 5 stars if they used someone more reliable

Buyer beware!!!
I ordered an item on the 11th June for delivery on the 15th. Nothing arrived. After many hours of trying to get through, I managed to speak to someone who assured me that I would receive the item yesterday. Nothing arrived! I wish that I had seen the reviews beforehand then I would never have placed my order. I regret wasting my money or time. Now my project has been delayed due to this issue.

Outstanding Customer Service – Highly Recommended!
I ordered the Paslode 395196 F18 50mm Electro Galv Straight Brads (2000 Box with 2 Fuel Cells), but a different product was sent by mistake. I contacted the team, and I was genuinely impressed by how quickly and professionally they handled the issue.
A replacement was dispatched immediately, and they even told me to keep the incorrect item as a goodwill gesture – which was incredibly generous and appreciated.
Mistakes can happen, but it’s how a company responds that makes the difference. These guys delivered outstanding customer service from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to order again – 100% trustworthy and efficient!

Ordered a spit pulse 65 said 1-2 days delivery but they don’t even stock them just order from the manufacturer when you order so it’s now 5 days after ordering and iv only just received notice that it’s being dispatched today but won’t arrive until the 19th

In response to the comments on Pulsa 65 stock, we do in fact stock this product. This is not something we simply buy from the manufacturer when an order comes in. The issue we've had recently is these have been extremely popular and stock has been hard to keep up with.

Delays
I placed an order on 21st April 2025, expecting timely delivery. Unfortunately, after waiting two weeks without receiving any updates, I had to follow up myself to find out that my items had been lost. I was disappointed that I had to chase down this information. But also having to order from an alternative source due to the time scale we needed them.
I then called to cancel part of my order, and I was assured that the cancellation would be processed and the funds refunded. However, I received an email saying that the canceled items are now being delivered, which is confusing and frustrating.
I understand that things can go wrong, but better communication throughout the process would have gone a long way. I’m still waiting for clarification on my canceled items and the refund process.
I’m hopeful this issue will be resolved, but my experience has been much more stressful than I expected.

Good enough price but took 7 days for Item to arrive. Ordered on 25th April not sent out until 30th April. Arrived on 1st May. No fault of FedEx. Just poor service from Fixingsstore.

First, please let me sincerely apologise for the underwhelming experience with us. Every order is an opportunity to exceed expectations and build relationships with our customers, so it's hard to read we've fallen short of your expectations.
After looking back on your order, I can see the item purchased states a delivery time of 2 - 4 working days on the product page. We received your order on Friday 25th April, just past 1pm. Based on this order information the latest date we expect to deliver to you was the following Thursday (1st May). This is because items listed with a 2 - 4 lead time are stocked at an external warehouse and require a transfer before they are dispatched.
After looking back on the tracking, I can see it was signed for on Thursday 1st May. I appreciate it may not have been the delivery speed you were expecting but we have delivered in the service window we state.
We are always looking to improve our service in every way and one of them is in our turnaround time for those items marked with 2 - 4 day lead time. As soon as we can shorten this time we absolutely will do.

In case you misunderstood the delivery communication we provide post-dispatch, we do not state anywhere that we provide estimated times for the delivery. Our communication is instead providing an email update to advise it has been dispatched and en route to you. Inside this email it will provide a tracking link where you can then follow your package/s journey through the network.

Good service received in the end
Ordered some grab adhesive from fixing store. Website is easy to navigate and plenty of options at very competitive prices. Was notified that my order had been dispatched, the order was delivered in a couple of days. But unfortunately only one of the 5 items I had ordered was sent. After speaking to someone about this at the fixing store, I was told when the item I had ordered was being prepared for despatch that the stock they were showing was incorrect. I was assured that new stock had been ordered from their supplier and would be sent asap. To be fair the rest of the items turned up a couple of days later. Just one slight criticism, it would have been nice to have been informed about this before I received my order or for something to have been said on the delivery note, instead of just saying qty ordered 5 and qty shipped 1 with no mention of anything to follow. But all in all received good service from the fixing store.

Ordered before 12, rang and confirmed it was in stock and would be delivered next day. Had to go to depot to collect and it was to be delivered 6 or 7 days later!!

I'm genuinely sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with Fixings Store. This is far from the standard we set for our orders, so I have spent the last 48 hours investigating to understand what has gone wrong.
In short, the late delivery was caused by an unforeseen delay in transferring your items from one of our warehouses before we could dispatch. Looking back on our stats, this was a recent abnormality in our order processing timeframes as we haven't had an occurrence like this in over 90 days.
Speaking to a colleague, I can see we are processing a £35 refund on your order for the inconvenience and fuel costs to collecting your order from a local depot.
I am sorry once again and we will do better next time should you give us the opportunity in the future.

Looking back on your order, I can see you placed it on a Saturday, over the Easter Weekend. In case you weren't aware, we are closed over the weekends and for bank holidays, so the order is naturally going to get processed when we re-open on Tuesday 22nd April.
We do explain our opening hours and processing times on both product information pages (see Delivery Information tab) and on our Delivery page. And I hope you can appreciate placing an order over a bank holiday weekend is going to influence the delivery arrival times of orders.
