Everything else was fine except for the…
Everything else was fine except for the deposit, for our previous rental home in Sheffield. They returned only £495 out of the £600 deposit, charging around £400 for cleaning, even though we had already cleaned the house, apart from normal wear and tear. And they took a month to release that as well. I felt this was really unfair and a bit dodgy.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you were happy with most aspects of your tenancy and sorry to hear you were unhappy with the outcome of your deposit.
Just to clarify, if £495 was returned from a £600 deposit, the deduction would have been £105 not £400 as mentioned. All deposit deductions are supported by evidence, in line with tenancy agreements, and processed through a government-approved deposit protection scheme. Tenants have the right to raise a dispute through the scheme if they feel any charges are unfair, and we fully support that transparent process.
We appreciate all feedback and continually review how we communicate end-of-tenancy expectations and deductions to ensure fairness and clarity.
Bad experience with FitProperty Sheffield
I had really bad experience with Fit-Property- Sheffield. There was someone called Raquel who sent unnecessary emails before checking with his colleague. For example, I had an agreement with their manager and then he sent such an annoying emails. Overall, I am not happy about this behaviour.

At present, your rent account remains in arrears, and despite multiple attempts via phone and email, we have received no response from you. As the manager, I can confirm that no agreement has been made regarding your arrears. Raquel's role is to follow up on outstanding rent, and in the absence of communication from your side, it is both appropriate and necessary for her to do so.
We encourage you to contact the office directly so we can resolve this matter. We are more than happy to speak with you, but this must begin with a response from yourself.

Logan gave us a tour round the properties and was very helpful, he answered all my questions and gave us so much detail even explaining the local amenities and most impressively the distance to the nearest football pitch. Logan was a great help and would definitely recommend.
