Bayou Pwn Jones RD
My name is Larry Risher. I have been a Bayou Pawn customer for over eight years. I have consistently made my payments and estimate that my transactions have generated well over $100,000 in pawn value with no prior losses or forfeitures. I initially paid daily and later switched to weekly payments. On Tuesday, 07-07-26], I experienced a family emergency and a work-related accident that delayed my payment. At approximately 7:00 PM, I attempted to contact the store, but it was already closed. I spoke with the district manager named Ana, who refused to provide reasonable assistance or accommodation despite my long history of on-time payments and no prior losses. As a result, I am at risk of losing pledged items and incurring fees, which I believe is unfair given the circumstances and my relationship with the business.
I understand that pawn agreements have strict due dates; however, given my documented history and the emergency, I requested a reasonable grace period or a reinstatement option. I also requested an escalation to a reginal manager or vice president, and my request for assistance was denied. I am submitting this complaint to seek a fair and timely resolution.
I am requesting that Bayou Pawn reinstate the affected pawn or pawns to good standing without loss of collateral, waive or reduce any late or forfeiture fees triggered on account and provide a documented review of my case by store management or corporate customer relations. I also request written confirmation of the resolution and an updated due date or payment plan. I am willing to bring the account current immediately upon reinstatement and to continue with weekly payments going forward.
I can provide copies of pawn tickets, payment receipts, any written communications or call logs with Bayou Pawn.
