The North East Ambulance Service provides award-winning, paramedic-led, First Aid, Health & Safety and Trauma Training courses. Since 2012, we have trained more than 22,000 delegates from over 1,400 businesses and organisations. The money that we raise through training and event cover is reinvested back into our ambulances and crews. Given the challenging environment we operate in, we massively appreciate the support we receive from our customers. In the last complete financial year (2017/8) we contributed to the provision of: • a fully equipped rapid response vehicle • a paramedic • an ambulance care assistant • a call handler in our operations centre, and • a dispatch officer in our operations centre. Excellent Course
The training course was interactive, interesting I have never done first aid training before so was a little apprehensive, however the trainers Phil Malcolm and Kevin put me at easy straight away. The training officers have a great training method that is approachable and they have extensive knowledge and experience which really engaged me in the content. All 3 x officers were able to give examples and explain things in an easy to understand way even adding a touch of humour which lightened the mood .I have come away from the course with knowledge and confidence that will.allow me to apply in my current role as a security officer I would 100% recommend this course to anyone. Iam proud to have been trained by a recognised professional organisation such as NEAS

Brilliant Course
The training course was interactive, interesting and important. I have never done first aid training before so was a little apprehensive, however the trainer Phil put me at easy straight away. Phil has a great training method that is approachable and he has lots of knowledge and experience which really engaged me in the content. Phil was able to give examples and explain things in an easy to understand way. I have come away from the course with knowledge and confidence. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone.

I feel everybody on the course was made to feel relaxed and not put under any pressure by the professionalism of the instructor. which made everybody comfortable in taking part in the practical side. if I'm honest probably the best and most enjoyable out of the five i have previously done.

Really thorough course with topics well divided up across the 3 days. This allowed time for open discussions and revision of key elements such as the recovery position and CPR.

Great company with excellent staff to help with your training needs
I work for a large office based on the Quayside and we are always in need of first aid and emergency evacuation chair training. Our people receive this in-house and in the training centre with NEAS. When on-site are always well looked and staff couldn't be more accommodating. We are very thankful to Malcolm who has been an excellent trainer for us over the years. The booking process is straight forward with no hassle and we always receive continued support from NEAS between refreshers.

Relevant and knowledgeable speaker
The speaker spoke a little fast for our non clinical staff but the content was great and covered what we needed to know. He had a great deal of knowledge and experience to pass on.
