I have been a nanny on Find A Babysitter for roughly 7 years with no problems and found regular work. My account was recently blocked. I think I know why. I worked for an mentally unstable mother for 3 weeks on another platform. The job wasn't working for me so I left. I did the best to my ability to help the mother and the child I cared for. The mother wasn't happy I decided to leave so she left a negative review on the platform I was on even though I had positive reviews from other families. This particular mother posted an ad on Find A Babysitter. She must have seen my profile and made a false complaint. I can think of no other reason why Find A Babysitter would block my account. I sent a few emails to Find A Babysitter with no response from them. Shame, shame, shame.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CARD DETAILS ON THE APP AS THEY WIIL CHARGE YOU EVEN WHEN YOU CANCEL PREMIUM!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE.

I have been stuck on this sites mailing list for years despite never sigining up and many attempts to stop them. If I click the link to unsubscribe it takes you to a registration page instead. I am sure it is now a legal requirement to make unsubscribing from mail lists easier. I shall be reporting these for not following these rules as I'm sick of it now

I signed up last Tuesday and was advised to get the best response to pay £4 to have my profile “featured” I paid the £4 and now they have taken a further £9 with no idea what for! Ridiculous

This site is an absolute con. My annual subscription was renewed with only a few hours notice. I did not have a chance to cancel a service I hadn’t used in over 11 months.
I received no response, despite several emails to the customer service team.
An unethical, unhelpful company who pretend to be serving the needs of busy parents.

I paid for a months subscription and was charged 29 pounds again this month. That is unethical and you cannot cancel your account on the website or remove your credit card details.

I have been using yoopies for the last 2months for my 9 Month daughter. It has been a horrendous experience. I have only gone back to work 2 days a week Thursday and Fridays. I have used over 4 babysitters. Will turn up one day., Kate for another. Call in sick, and sometimes don't even bother calling to say they won't come. Last night my babysitter called in sick at 8pm. I called babysitters from the site which I pay monthly for. I agreed to pay time and a half due to calling last minute. And she called 7.30 in the morning, when I'm about to leave for work she can't come because she is unwell. I am a pharmacist, I have professional commitment. The experience has made it very difficult to go back to work, and I don't want to imagine if it made me look unreliable to my employers. After the experience today, I've booked appointments with daycare centres. I've had enough of unreliable and unprofessional babysitters.

I paid £30 for a month and after 5 minutes I got a message about a promotional offer from them for 9 a month which I could make use of because I had already paid. I contacted 20 babysitters and either they were not available or had some excuses. One babysitter responded to my ad and when I called her she hung up in the middle of the conversation and never called back. I’m starting to wondering if the profiles on this site are genuine.

Yoopies is simply amazing and the website is very easy to navigate! I have found my current job here since January and have loved it!

So easy to apply. There is an opportunity for a job no matter what age or experience level you are! I find that very amazing considering how many employers are picky about who they let on board. It is based on and around your postcode so all jobs will be nearby. You can adjust the work times to fit around what’s most suitable for you. This is very helpful if you’re a busy person looking for that little extra!

Would 100% recommend if you are looking for any babysitting/childcare jobs.

I think this company is amazing for babysitters/childminders of any level of experience to advertise for jobs, and to gain experience!
