Complicated return process leads to bad return experience.
Bought 2 items online from Fatface, and opted to collect from a store. Picked up the items, one fit but the other was a bit big, took the item back to the store to return but the store rejected it saying it was bought with Klama so i have to go post item via Royal Mail to return the item.
Posted the item, fast forward 3 weeks no return notification. Current status, as I do not have a tracking number, no refund even after calling Royal Mail and Royal Mail said to tell Fatface Royal Mail lost package, Fatface customer care still insists on no refund.
Bought many items from several stores but never had any reject a return at the store due to the mode of payment.
Thank you for your prompt response but i dare say in your bid to apportion blame you missed the point, i have come to terms with the loss of a right to refund as i did not follow your so called return policy.
The question is why would the store i picked up the items from refuse to collect back an item i collected just a day before?
If i could take the pain to go from my Sheffield S3 home to S11 to pickup a purchased item and return one of the item that dint fi the very next day, why would the store refuse to collect a return because of the payment method.
That is a policy that i am afraid makes no sense. After all, a store is in a position to check the state of the item being returned to avoid any back and forth.

I can see that you have contacted us a couple of times regarding your order, and we have advised you in line with our returns policy.
You mentioned to us that you returned your parcel by putting it through the post box, which is not a method of returns that we advise our customers to do. Both Royal Mail and Fat Face also request that you keep your proof of postage.
If you not have this document, and you did not follow our returns process correctly, I am afraid we cannot process a refund for you.
As per our returns policy, orders paid via Klarna or PayPal pay in three cannot be returned in store. This is stated both on our website, and on your returns form.

Not a regular shopper here but walked…
Not a regular shopper here but walked in hoping to find a nice beret and I did and more. I loved how the store was laid out, easy to navigate and actually see the clothes rather than claw through tightly packed rails.
Really lovely clothes, great colours and the quality was there too not flimsy knitwear that would lose its shape after one wash. I have a Fatface jumper I’ve had for years.
I was assisted by a nice young woman, who wasn’t pushy but offered ideas and advice and she was happy to go and get clothing for me and bring to the changing room.
I love autumn and winter so I feel that this store was perfect for me with its clothing and accessories and I left with a coat, bag and the beret.

Rude
Plenty of lovely things to purchase but unfortunately the person who i can only assume is the manager of the ecclesall road store was highly in your face rude.
I do apologise that my wanting to pay for my purchases at your till point had disrupted your laptop time at the till. Next time I would recommend not saying loudly under your breath "not even finished what im doing but go ahead if you must". Shall now only invest my time and money in the meadowhall store where it is welcoming and not a burden to shop there.

Great after-sales service
Two items I had ordered online were too big - I rang one of the Sheffield branches (Ecclesall Road) with a view to exchanging & they couldn't have been more helpful. They only had one of the items in stock, but suggested I rang the Meadowhall branch which was showing they had my second item in stock. They too were equally as obliging. It is such a refreshing change to have a good after-sales service. Well done

Fast and efficient service
