Excellent product. Fits perfectly. Now my daughter says I have a grown-up hat!

I did give a feedback saying I wasn’t too happy with the fit. I must have a smaller head as the adjustment is fully taken up and tends to bulge a little on both sides. Kind regards. Ken.

Farnell's website gives a misleading impression of being a traditional family company based in UK. First sign of trouble was 10 day delay in dispatch, then I was informed that item was held in customs for 5 days. Farnell do not make it clear that they are based overseas (?Holland, with product made in China)and that they subcontract an unreliable budget courier: Evri who have previously failed to deliver parcels to me without explanation. Yet again, Evri delivered to a wrong unknown location; sent a photo of the wrong location as "proof of delivery"; and flagged the tracking as "correctly delivered to recipient's address". I tried to contact Evri repeatedly but it is impossible for the Buyer to communicate with Evri except one-way chat via automated chatbot, which kept referring me to tracking details to claim that the product had been delivered to me. I provided photos of my property showing that Evri's photo of the delivery location clearly did not match that of my property. My contract of purchase is with Farnell, but they refused to investigate or communicate with Evri, despite having a legal responsibility to do so under Consumer Rights Act (2015) and full lines of communication available. I made a claim for a refund through PayPal. They are normally very fair, but in this instance their policy was that they would only accept the (incorrect) tracking information, and would not make any judgement based on photographic evidence. I have lost money on this purchase and have been let down by Evri, Farnell, and surprisingly PayPal too.

Quality is outstanding. My corduroy cap is My go to cap for Fall and Winter.

I thought I was buying a hat made … in the US or distributed from the US. Instead, I watched the hat travel from factories overseas over a week or two. This is fine. I have nothing against that. I just … wasn’t educated enough to realize this. I like the hat.

Unfortunately can't give minus so - five stars, the company is based in Amsterdam but their cheap goods are from China and their advertising leads you to believe they are UK based, they offer 30 day returns but don't honour that and where refunds are concerned they only offer part refunds, hat quality is mixed but if you're not happy good luck. POOR customer service.

Cap fitted well, was a little creased on arrival otherwise a good service.

The cap not only fits but stays on unlike so many that blow off in a breeze!

Refused replacement for manufacturing defect.
My wife ordered a cap from Farnell Hat Co. as a birthday gift for me. She ordered it well before my birthday and wrapped it without removing it from the manufacturer's plastic bag.
When I opened the gift, the cap had what I believe was a manufacturing defect in the stitching at the front. It has never been worn.
I contacted Farnell Hat Co. immediately after discovering the defect and, at their request, sent photographs. What followed was a lengthy exchange of emails in which they repeatedly relied on their 30-day returns policy to refuse a replacement or refund.
I explained several times that my complaint related to what I believed was a manufacturing defect and referred them to my statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Despite numerous emails, they never addressed that point or disputed the defect shown in the photographs. They simply continued to refer to their 30-day returns policy.
In the end, I decided not to pursue the matter further through the courts because my time was worth more than continuing a dispute over a £34.95 cap.
Based on my experience, I found their customer service extremely disappointing. I will not buy from Farnell Hat Co. again and cannot recommend them.

Caveat emptor. Looks like a traditional English hat maker but it's not. The cap was ok, nothing special and a reasonable fit but lacking in quality and much better quality products are available in store or online through recognised brands. Slow delivery, presumably because coming half way round the world. Good marketing but the product & heritage may not be what you might expect. Wearable and ok.

Would give zero stars if possible, my experience is exactly the same as others on this website, an offer of 10%, rising to 50% The cap, bought for husband's birthday, was late in arriving, very poor quality in shape/manufacture/fabric - supposedly denim, but a cheap shoddy fabric sprayed to look like denim. Despite their claim that they will refund within 30 days (as per the Act) they have refused, and this has been going on since May this year. Latest (unlooked for) email tells me I have a store credit! Unfortunately I didn't use PayPal, the first time I have regretted using it!

Bought a Classic Driver cap for £29.95 which arrived today.
3 Issues:
1) It took 2 weeks to arrive
2) The quality is shockingly bad, with loose threads and it looks cheap
3) Returning it is a hassle (presumably on purpose) and involves sending photos and paying for tracked delivery
I wont be using this company again
