Grok account
I purchased a 90-day shared Grok account from FamilyPro for $16.90. I specifically chose them over other providers because their customer service had been helpful and quick in the past.
Unfortunately, the experience changed completely. In the first week, the account’s weekly/daily video generation quota was completely used up within just a couple of hours by another user. The same thing happened again in the second week. As a result, I could barely use the account I had paid for.
When I contacted their support about this, they simply replied that it is a shared account, that other users also consume the quota (and it is not evenly distributed), and that I should either upgrade to a dedicated plan or wait for the next reset. There was no real attempt to solve the problem or offer a workable solution within the plan I had already paid for.
I then requested a refund for the remaining days.
Their system first calculated a refund of only $1.81 for the remaining 57 days (I had paid $16.90 for 90 days). After I complained about this calculation, they adjusted the amount to something more reasonable — but then applied an almost $1 refund fee.
In short:
The shared account did not provide reliable access.
Support offered no real resolution.
The refund process first proposed an extremely low amount and later still deducted a fee.
I expected better, especially given their previous good support. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend FamilyPro for shared Grok accounts if you need consistent usage.
