Garbage company. The stem got delivered scratched, they didn't even bother giving me a full refund. And they were trying to charge me a 20% restocking fee and have me cover the incoming and return shipping. People at this level of the market who are willing to pay this premium price tag are expecting premium cycling products, we are not stupid. Neither the quality of the product nor the service justifies the price. Their owner, Sergio Riva was arrogant and always shirks responsibilities in the email. Avoid this company forever!
I bought a pair of extralite hyper2 wheels. Not cheap. After they arrived I had some questions about what cassette would best fit. The email reply was extremely abrupt, answered none of my questions and to be honest very rude. Not at all what I would come to expect for a premium product.
This is my second set of extralite wheels but I would never use them again.
I bought a extremely expensive crankset. The unit started to get loose after 15-18km. All the customer experience was horrible: bad mood, no manners and reluctancy to take responsibility or even take the product back to their facilities. After a month of reluctancy and a month in their facilities (they were very busy to test them) they send them back to me without telling me anything and said they were perfectly fine (which is not true by the way).
The astonishing part is that they sent me a used unit which was not mine. My unit have a few months of use and low km and the unit sent to me was under heavy use for years (checked by an local expert).
These brand sell luxury bike parts and do take any responsability by their mistakes. But even worse they are liars and feel they are above their clients and they dare to send a different unit to a client with a problem in one of their parts.
I know... their products are really nice and light but with parts that critical and expensive what you expect is a decent customer service and they fail to offer even te most basic one. Stay away from Extralite
