Terrible and unscrupulous company. When I cancelled the service call well within the three hour requirement they still demanded that I pay for the call. Even though they test messaged me I was supposed to have “called them”. I would NOT let these people in my home.

They were unable to fix our stove. Period. They kept cancelling scheduled repairs and then just ghosted us.The expensive part they installed would not work as it was not configured by their tech. 30days after the first visit I called them for an update. After holding for 47 minutes I called back and was assured a call back. I specifically asked for an update and we have heard nothing. Sheer desperation took us to the issue on Chat GTP and we were able to make the repair ourselves. We are not trained technicians and apparently theirs are not either. Do not call them.
And no matter what they say about the issue being resolved, we had to fix the stove ourselves because they could not manage it. I repeat call someone else!

I contacted EXPRESS REPAIR SERVICE at 10:10am on October 21st to schedule a repair for a broken dryer. An appointment was scheduled same day between 12:00 and 2:00 pm. After hanging up, I checked their reviews online and saw a pattern of concerning feedback. Based on this info I called back at 10:19am less than 10 minutes to cancel. Despite the very short time between booking and cancellation, the rep told me I will be charged $99 cancellation fee because I did not cancel 3hrs before hand. The policy doesn't make sense because the appointment was booked less than 3hrs before the scheduled time. This was not explained to me at the time of booking. The next day the company sent a text messages claiming that service was performed and demanding payment to clear the balance. This is completely false, and misleading. No service was provided, and the attempt to charge for a cancellation made minutes after booking feels fraudulent. To make matters worse a Collection AGENCY working on their behalf have contacted me for payment.

What a rip off. Technician came to repair our ice maker about two weeks ago. He said it was just jammed. He played around with it for 5 minutes then said it would be ok. $220. Nothing changed. He came back and said the whole ice maker needed changing. Another $400 as deposit. The part was about $600. Came back 3 days ago and replaced the unit. He said they would send an invoice for the balance $450 which I received. Fortunately there was no link to pay so I waited. Received a call at 7:50 am this morning pressuring me to pay. They sent me a payment link. Before paying I checked the unit. No ice at all. I called them back and was told that they wouldn’t return under warranty until the balance was paid. The representative kept repeating that I had to pay first even though it isn’t producing ice at all. I told him that there was no way in hell I would pay until it works. At this point I’m not sure if it’s the unit itself or a different problem. To summarize - STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Even one star is too much. Worst experience ever. I do not recommend this company. They ask for half the money upfront. The simple repair of my fridge took over half a month and two technicians. They are very unprofessional they don’t return calls and there technicians do not show up on time, and on two occasions did not show up at all.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I paid in full, and they never showed up. No calls, no messages—just completely disappeared after taking my money. I've tried contacting them multiple times with no response. This feels like a scam. Avoid at all costs unless you want to lose your money and waste your time.

This company is a scam! I would have selected negative star rating if there was an option.
I called them for a dishwasher issue (on heating issue) in beginning of June. They came in, replaced a control board, charged me for the new part & labor (close $700), walked away without fixing the problem. I have since kept calling them to come back and investigate why their diagnose didn't fix the problem. They refused to come back (2 rescheduling + 1 cancellation to all my appointments). I finally escalated (close to end of July) to the manager "Michelle" to give a final date for them to fix the issue before my tenants move-in - no help at all, and she never called me back. So I hired a 2nd repair company for another diagnose and repair. The verdict is the original part got replaced by Express Repair wasn't the cause of the issue. So, I made a claim about the Express Repair and dispute the payment (part +labor). Now, what's funny is the merchant manager Michelle called me back, and demanded to have her tech to come to fix the problem, and replace another part which was diagnosed by the 2nd repair company. After I declined their offer (as I will have 2nd repair company do the fix), she now threats to get a collection agency for my disputed payment, and even threats to send me the bill for the service of the collection agency. It seems story shall continue, I will update here with new updates.
Sept 19 - update to Express Repair's response. If the merchant get the fact straight, they would know the part and service provided was totally incorrect. The tech did NOT diagnose the faulty part, replaced the wrong part. Then the merchant refused to come back to follow up from June to end of July. The reassessment offer wasn't on the table until I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau. By then, it was too late, as I also informed the merchant that I have already hired another repair company. So, if the merchant is truly honest, they should stay with the fact that they failed the paying customer.
