Why is this company still allowed to advertise? I have reported to every legal body possible and it is still live.UNBELIEVABLE! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PACKAGES FROM THIS COMPANY!MATT DOES NOT DELIVER ANYTHING YOU PAY FOR,EVEN THOUGH IT SEEMS LEGITIMATE.THIS WEBSITE SHOULD BE TAKEN DOWN IMMEDIATELY.
We have filed a police report,informed scamwatch and all Banking Institutions.

Embarrassed to say didn't see these reviews till too late.
Taken for a ride & out of pocket for Oyster cards, only available means of payment was direct deposit. Have reported to Bank (not hopeful of any recourse) & will take further to ACCC.
Have sent 7 emails (3 stupid replies), made 5 phone calls

Experience UK is not to be trusted. Looks like a legitimate travel company website however Matthew (Matt) is a true scammer. We booked and paid for an Edinburgh Tattoo Package for August 2025 including 2 premium tattoo tickets, several tours in Edinburgh, 2 nights hotel accommodation and transfers to airport, plus an additional nights accommodation at another motel location through Experience UK. The only thing we got that was booked through him was 2 nights of basic accommodation with a shared bathroom (not what was requested) which amazingly didn’t get cancelled! Matt gave excuse after excuse why we had not received any tattoo tickets or tour vouchers when emailed or messaged. He never answered any calls and rarely responded to texts. He would not respond when refunds were asked for and we have not received any refunds when Storm Floris caused cancellation of the Tattoo on our ticketed date as well as Edinburgh castle closure ( the first time in 75 years!). Matt books accommodation using other platforms such as hotels.com and Expedia- even though we contacted the hotel to say under no circumstances cancel our reservation, it is out of their control so he cancels your booking at the last minute. We purchased additional tattoo tickets, tours and paid for another motel night on top of what we paid Matt (totaling nearly $3000). You will loose money if you use this company - just book directly with tour operators or event websites. DO NOT USE EXPERIENCE UK.

I booked through Experience UK for the Chelsea Flower show nearly a year in advance. I did recieve the 20 pound oyster card offered and was kept up to date when I asked. % Days before I was told that there was a problem, but only when I asked. I was told I would recieve a refund. I was late providing my bank details, however after months of trying to contact I have not had an answer and now the phone number doesn't work.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY ARE A TOTAL SCAM!!! They seem genuine... even when Matt calls you back. I am a travel agent who needed to book something particular for a client that could not be be booked via another wholesaler in Australia.
Matt seemed to say all the right things and proved by email extensive information before I booked and paid a deposit direct into his bank account and the balance by his due date.
Because Matt seemed so genuine I also made some other bookings for other clients including accommodation and transfers.
I should have become suspicious when the clients arrived at their accommodation in London to find their accommodation had cancelled. The client paid again direct to the hotel. When I contacted Matt he advised that he was sorry and assured that he would refund the money!! To this day no refund has been realized!!.... I also had transfers booked for the same client from Southampton to London.
I kept requesting confirmation number and contact number for the transfer company ... but Matt kept saying he was working on it !!! In the end when i had not received the information. I booked my clients via another means at my own cost.
Matt had also supposedly booked accommodation at a later date at the same Heathrow hotel for the same client. I actually called the hotel to confirm if there was a booking... and yes there was !! So I just thought it was a one off problem in the beginning . But I was wrong!!! I decided to call the hotel direct 2days before the clients were due to stay and was advise that the booking had been cancelled by the agent who had booked it!!
So it seems the scam is the hold bookings and even pay at a refund able rate and then cancel so the money goes back in to his account!!
The other booking was a sizable booking that included an accommodation and Edinburgh Tattoo Package that was booked and paid for in March.
I contacted Matt 4 weeks before the clients were due to fly out of Australia chasing document . He kept putting me off and putting me off saying he was waiting on the document from his supplier. I even requested the confirmation numbers for the hotel and the booking numbers for the Tattoo package. I became suspicious when he would not provide this information... so I rang the hotel and they advised they did not even have a booking!! I confronted Matt this via email(as he would not take my calls) and he advise that he supplier has it on allotment. I left it for a week then called the hotel and they advised they still did not have a booking for my client and did not have any bookings on allotment!!! I then harassed Matt via email, whatsapp and messaging to get information but he totally ignored me. I have now rebooked my clients direct with the Edinburgh Tattoo people at my own expense.
SO PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IT IS A TOTAL SCAM!! IF YOU HAVE HAS A SIMILAR PROBLEM PLEASE REPORT IT TO POLICE FRAUD DEPARTMENT AND MAYBE THE ATO AND ASIC AS HE DOES HAVE AN ABN- BUT MAY NOT BE PAYING TAX AS WELL AS OPERATING ILLIGALY

I note this Experience UK Australian website has now been updated to state that they have thousands of positive trustpilot reviews. Having now reviewed the Trustpilot reviews I can see that there is not a single positive review. I can also see that the website claims to have added PayPal and MYOB secure pay facilities. All of these additions are designed to build your trust. I believe in the basis of the falsely stated info about Trust Pilot reviews that all claims made by this so called company on their website are designed to show them to be a large, trustworthy company when in fact they appear to be a one man operation operating out of a suburban home in Sydney. Don’t believe any of the claims! Certainly don’t hand over any money.

I booked a tour and paid $966. Matt was friendly at first and then I did not hear from him. Tour was cancelled 4 hours before it was due to commence. Matt is now not returning my calls and no refund. DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THUS GUY. SCAM

I first reviewed this business back in Oct '24. I wasn't certain it was a scam back then. Now I'm more sure that this website is a scam (having seen all of these reviews). I'll be reporting my experience to authorities via cyber.gov.au

EDIT: I will also be submitting a report to the ACCC.

Total scam. Can't believe I did not do my homework on this guy. Read all the other appalling reviews. He is a straight-out con artist. Takes your money then ignores you. Have reported him to police.

Big time scammer, kept over $500 of our money when we paid in January for May show, never provided the Chelsea Flower show tickets paid for to him so had to buy them again. Refuses to respond.

I got scammed too.
Chelsea flower show tickets never arrived.
Email offering a refund but silent since.
How do we report this scammer?

do not book through experienceuk.com.au this is a total scam site his site should be taken down imedietly Matt will take your money and promise to deliver tickets but they will never arrive i am contacting ASICS and other authorities along with the RHS in the UK where they informed me that they had the same scammer doing it in last 2 years

Unfortunately, I am another one caught by this scammer. Matt knows the art of delaying and trying to assure you that he is doing everything he can to sort out the issue (of not providing what you pay for). For me it was Oyster cards that never turned up.
Please don’t use Experience UK from Australia.

Took travel agents money but did not book the arrangments, and had no intention of doing so. Has been scamming people of years now. He needs to be charged !

Never book anything with this business or The Great British Travel Shop - I'm sure there are more.
Paid for tickets and never received them. Luckily I could book them again from an honest supplier.

This company is a scam don't buy anything from them online. I purchased a visitor's oyster card and it never showed up. But they were happy to take my money.

This company is a scam! We have bought tickets in good faith to the Chelsea Flower Show & no tickets. Matt is no longer returning our calls but you will soon be out of business. This is NOT a business & the Oyster card is a lie.

Would rate them MINUS 10 if I could! I ordered two Oyster Cards late March 2025. It's now late April and we are now about to take off for London and surprise, surprise - the cards have not arrived!! Have tried contacting these people but nothing has happened. Paid by Paypal which is the only saving grace as I have now requested my money back via Paypal. Doesn't solve my problem of not having the Oyster Cards for arrival in London. So frustrated with this mob - DO NOT TRUST THEM!
