Ordered a box on 18/12/25 expected delivery date was 5 days
Given the Christmas period I gave them extra time. However it's now 5.1.25 no dispatch email.
I've reported an issue via their website and emailed several times. I've had no communication at all.
I believe it to be a scam at this point.

Terrible service
Terrible service. Incredibly expensive - £2 per piece of fruit. Selection box mostly filled with things like apples and pears, definitely not what the photo implies. Website incorrectly says you can pick a delivery date at checkout - there is an option on the 'view cart' page only, which I missed, and then following the instructions to email them my delayed delivery request only led them to say they wouldn't facilitate it. Additionally, selection box missing a menu as advertised - frankly quite a key selling point and useful part of the whole experience. And a refusal to acknowledge their failures in these regards via email. My overall impression is they are a shoddy business and should be avoided.
Bank dispute raised
I have had to raise a dispute with my bank as this company have taken my money and not responded to any of my emails or dispatched my order. Terrible customer service and no idea if it is even legit.
Expensive
Expensive, left out one item from my box that I ordered. Fruit is fresh but expensive to try first. Cancelled subscription but still getting emails for my next box.
I initially thought I got scammed…
I initially thought I got scammed because I’ve not heard back from them for 3 days. Then I got an email from DHL saying a shipment was due. I received my green mangoes and mangosteen - very good quality I have to say. They could do better with communication because I tried calling the number on the site but couldt get through and their email wasn’t working.

It arrived when I asked it to be delivered and everything was packaged carefully and fresh.

Honestly, I can’t believe the rating Exotic Fruits currently has on Trustpilot — it just doesn’t reflect the experience at all! They’re an absolute hidden gem on the internet. The product selection is incredible, the fruits are always fresh and delicious, prices are great, and their customer service is genuinely outstanding. I’m completely in love with this place and keep coming back time and time again.

Poor quality
The delivery was delayed at least 2 days so the fruit was already past it's best. Some of the fruit was badly damaged and inedible. Quality not good at all and the packaging was totally inadequate. The fruit was not protected in the box. I paid a lot of money for the order and it was totally disappointing. I would not recommend this company ever.
Mouldy, not exotic, not what was promissed
Instead of a variety of bananas the selection box included normal supermarket bananas and a small number of cooking bananas, at least 2 different varieties of those. Only 3 species not the guaranteed 4.
Oh and they were mouldy.
For the dragon fruit, these were completely flavourless as most European dragon fruit are so most definitely not the exotic versions. Of the three sent one was well past it's appropriate date to eat.

I thought I'd treat myself to something nice after a cancer diagnosis. But as with anything I guess I'm just not allowed nice things.
Almost every single fruit was bruised, damaged or rotten and some of the fruits in the trial selection box were missing (blood orange/yellow pitahaya), not to mention the rambutan was so rotten/old it was actually brown.
In an email I was told "Due to the nature of the fruits we sell, the items included in our Trial and Seasonal Selection Boxes are not always available" Okay,..? Maybe it'd be an idea to actually tell the customer what has been substituted BEFORE they buy it..? Not to mention the fact that I have no idea what was actually substituted!
£23 for this quality is actually unbelievable, terrible experience but I guess I should've checked Trustpilot beforehand as this doesn't seem uncommon.
Exactly as described, and great value
I have placed two separate orders with Exotic Fruits. Both were dispatched and arrived quickly. Fruits were as described each time, very fresh and high quality. I will definitely be ordering a third time!
Lovely quality dragon fruits
Lovely quality dragon fruits. Large and perfect. Packaged really well. Deivery took longer than expected but perhaps that’s because I live in Scotland 😆

Damaged and missing fruit. Once I raised complaint no communication back! Please do not buy from this company as they have horrible service!

Enjoy fruit with a difference
Really loved the selection of the small subscription box. I love that you can also add additional items.
I also love that you can view each fruit, discover it's historical origin and how to prepare them for consumption.
I've removed a star because there was a couple of fruit I just couldn't identify from the online selections. It would be incredibly helpful if the subscription items could be listed, so I can check the best preparation and consumption methods.
I look forward to my next box, hoping there will be different fruits to try, season dependent.
Scam company dont use.
Scam company. Paid for order, nothing has come after 2 weeks. They wont refund after several emails requesting a refund. Will be reporting to trading standards and taking them to small claims court.

Took a week for delivery, multiple delays before sending , then when it finally arrived more than 60% bruised, split, damaged
Damaged package, inedible fruit, refund refusal
Box arrived damaged on the outside, fruit mush on the inside. Maybe 5 fruits survived, but the rest beyond saving. They repeatedly said they wouldn't refund because I didn't individually photograph every single damaged fruit before I got rid of them. I called citizens advice consumer helpline, who told me that this policy was not in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which says that you have the right to reject goods up to 14 days after delivery. So this company is operating illegally. I threatened with small claims court and they folded and paid back the £6.95 delivery charge, but not the goods cost. Citizens advice say they have notified Trading Standards and that if it's flagged enough times by enough people they will be investigated. Citizens advice consumer helpline - 0808 223 1133 I can only encourage you to pursue it with them if you have a complaint because they've been super helpful.
