I've been a patient with Exeter Chiro and Physio now for over a year following a bout of sciatica. Having resolved my initial problem, I have taken the decision to visit regularly to prevent further issues. They have proved to be professional and effective in my treatment

I can’t thank my chiropractor enough for the incredible difference their care has made in my life. For years, I suffered with pain in my hips, back, and neck, which affected everything from my mobility to my ability to sleep. Despite countless visits to my doctor and the hospital, nothing seemed to help — I was relying on pain relief medication daily just to get by.

A Positive diagnosis of pain in my ankle after a fall - torn ligament - Lawrence massaged, manipulated and applied laser treatment . i took an 8 session plan and the improvement is remarkable . after session 7 . Lawrence suggested i tried driving again just short distances - i’m walking so much better as well . Not quite finished treatment but would recommend this friendly professional practice !

I have been having shock wave treatment for a frozen shoulder and I cannot recommend these guys and in particular Jack who has been amazing, enough.

I visited Exeter Health Plus about my shoulder which has been painful for a couple of months. I have used the practice before with a couple of other issues which were treated successfully. I was seen by Jack who explained what the problem was and suggested a treatment plan combining some sessions in the clinic together with some exercises to do at home. I am already feeling the benefit after my first appointment and am looking forward to feeling less discomfort and an improvement in the range of movement in my arm/shoulder following a few more visits.

My work involves a lot of manual handling of heavy industrial equipment and consequently I had back problems. Specifically I had been experiencing lower back pain and even total back seizure. Jack has managed to resolve years of neglect where my back no longer bothers me. I now feel free of pain and with the maintenance plan no longer fear it recurring.

I have seen a number of Chiropractors and Physiotherapists and not one has helped relieve my pain and improved my mobility as much as Jack has.

I was asked to give a review two weeks after visiting Jack. I declined doing so, preferring to wait until I could give a fully reformed review.

Jack assessed my back problem and discussed a program of treatment which I was happy to go along with. Jack's manipulation of muscles and exercise program - which sometimes wasn't comfortable but very beneficial - has not only reduced the pain I had in my lower back but more importantly for me, as I'm still working, has allowed me to carry on doing the heavy work that I do.
Jack is now working on my shoulder to give me more movement and less pain in it. Treatment in this area is ongoing, but I am already feeling benefit from his treatment.
So, in summary, Jack is by far the best Chiropractor I have visited. He is very approachable, very knowledgeable, very professional and a nice guy.

I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Furthermore, I think the front desk, or receptionist, Sophie, also needs a mention. She is always polite, professional and helpful.

I started treatment with Lawrence at the beginning of November after being recommended by a friend. I could not put my foot to the ground and was extremely frustrated and bad tempered. After all, I had been to numerous therapists before and nobody had completely solved my problem. Lawrence recommended two visits per week.
After the first treatment, I felt elated as I could at least put my foot to the ground with minimum amount of pain. After several visits Lawrence had sorted out my problem so well that I was reduced to one treatment per week. However, I went to the dentist, chair went backwards and so did my back so I ended up with a second problem plus reverting back to two visits per week.
How do I describe the treatment received by Exeter Health Plus? Absolutely excellent. Lawrence is now my hero and I hope I did not embarrass him by telling him so. I must also thank Sophie for her patience with me as I always arrived early and she was an excellent listener to my moans and groans.

I initially went to Exeter Health Plus on recommendation from a friend due to suffering significant back pain following a fall at home a number of years ago and was introduced to Lawrence. He quickly identified an issue in the lumbar section of my spine and began treatment at my first session. I cannot recommend Lawrence highly enough, he is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything in Layman’s terms, so condition and treatment, the equipment being used, how it works and what it does, is fully understandable. I’m a few months down the line in terms of treatment and recovery is going well. Lawrence is now working on other areas that also needed treatment and I’m pleased to say that’s going well too. The staff at the practice are lovely, particularly Sophie, she is very friendly and welcoming. For anyone thinking of visiting a chiropractor, I thoroughly recommend Exeter Health Plus.

I have an 8 weekly appointment with Richard he is efficient and friendly and appointments are on time. My back trouble is completely better. I now have a rotator cuff inflammation and on my 3rd week with Laurance and there is already an incredible improvement. Laurance is also friendly and excellent with sports injuries. Many thanks to all the staff including the welcoming receptionist.

Very efficient, professional and knowledgeable. I cannot speak highly enough of Lawrence, who I was assigned to, he knows his stuff and you get a full explanation of what the problem is and what treatment is needed. from the first examination I felt at ease and Lawrence genuinely wants to get you pain free. After the 3rd appointment I had stopped hobbling and could feel the strength beginning to return. If you are in pain I seriously recommend Exeter Health Plus who will be able to put you on the road to recovery as they have done for my wife and myself. Thank you Lawrence and the team.

Would definatly recommend Exeter Health Plus. After recently being in excruciatingly pain in my lower back I booked my first appointment . All the staff are really friendly and welcoming . I am being treated by Laurence who is very professional and has helped a great deal . I have never had treatment before and he always explains everything to me and explains all aspects of my treatment and the reason I was in pain to begin with.

I am being treated by Jack for an injury to my back. I’m not an easy patient having previously had back surgery and hip replacements so I was a bit concerned about having anything done but having had a fall hurting my back quite badly I took my friend’s advice and saw Jack. I have embarked on a course of treatment and can see the improvement in three weeks, 2 treatments a week. I was warned it will take time at the start and am happy with my steady progression. I wish I had gone straight after my fall but am very pleased that I eventually went. I won’t pretend it doesn’t hurt but can honestly say it’s worth every penny and every little bit of pain!

They made me feel comfortable and took me step by step through my problem with my back, very professional and helpful, and now I’m feeling much better and my back is feeling better after every treatment, would recommend them to everyone I know , very grateful to them and worth every penny I’ve spent

Richard and his team were both very friendly and explained the reasons for the excruciating pain from my slipped disc and knew exactly the right area affected and recommended the decompression treatment to aid recovery. It very quickly aided in reduction of pain and I was able to begin the road to recovery on a bi weekly treatment basis, by 13 or so treatments the pain was almost gone and after 16 I’m up and about and back in employment. Richard clearly explained the journey to recovery time scales and gave good expectation of timescales and advice. Great team, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Paul Sands, Dawlish.

Ever been to a practice and you just feel welcomed? The staff is polite and very professional and hard working too. My back has been a menace and its frustrating when every place you go to its the same answer “we dont know”. But with Exeter Health Plus it was a different story. Time was taken into my diagnosis with good results, and even at times when my back was stubborn - Mr Jack who handles my treatments never lost hope and always has those reassurances that we will get to the bottom of this! I highly recommend the practice, you wont go wrong.
