Heat pump system initially Nov 2023:-

Bad installation and incompetent workmanship.
Leaking pipes had to be repaired by another company.
Damage to property.
After a year the system never worked correctly.
Apparently hackers prevented my complaint Emails arriving = twice in one year. Really!
Corrected the rest myself - I can't bare to have these people back in my house again!.
The reviews from Lizzie and Mark were right, 'cowboys'. But Cowboys would at least be able to ride.

We had a number of quotes for air to air heat pump systems and went with Evoeco homes as they seemed reasonably priced and the quote process and staff doing this were good. We had the units and heat pump fitted earlier this year and all seemed well, however went we went to use the cooling setting in the summer we discovered that they leaked dirty water into our rooms. Trying to get this issue resolved was very difficult with poor customer service, emails not being replied to and phone calls not returned. My husband left a previous review and was asked to take it down before the engineers would be sent out to fix the system. Eventually engineers were sent round to fix the issue. The units are now working correctly however in the process the engineers broke some of the plastic panels on the units as well as making negative remarks about the units which have left us with less confidence in them. We have been trying to get the broken panels replaced since August but again poor communication and customer service means they remain broken.

Evo Eco Homes have great staff who are very helpful and patient. Ben visited and carefully explained the details of the system and the work involved. I was also given a competitive quote at the time.
They are also flexible to accommodate uncertain dates when convenient to me. I wasn't initially sure when I would have scaffolding available for example.
After install they also advise me on obtaining the right tariff from my energy provider.

Patient and clear guidance. Really helpful can do attitude. I really appreciated the time Sam spent with me explaining everything in plain English.

I first used Eco Evo homes 3 years ago. They removed my gas boiler and installed a heat pump to run my underfloor heating and hot water supply. There were a few minor glitches, but these were easily resolved and the aftercare continues to be excellent.
They recently added solar panels and batteries to my 'green package'. Excellent survey, planning and installation followed. Big shout out to Mark and Sam for guiding me through the entire process. Very happy with the outcome.

Ben was so helpful and patient in guiding us through the whole process explaining the best fit solution for our needs and allowing us extra flexibility in areas we were unsure with.
Luke and whole survey and installation team were fantastic, so polite, considerate clean & tidy.
Finally Sam has been great getting us all certified and paperwork all sorted fully, and is always on hand to help us understand the various Octopus tariffs or the Fox Inverter Monitoring Apps queries.
When the Sun shines we can now enjoy producing 46kWh of which 28kWh is Exported to Octopus Flux.
The batteries carry us through the rainy days, so have no longer needed any Grid Import since fully installed.

We have just completed an installation of solar and air-source heat pump with Evo Eco, and our experience was fantastic.

We had recently had a couple of quotes from other firms, and following a human/unscripted cold call from Evo Eco decided to have a third set of eyes. What followed was a process completely different from the other providers’ ‘cut and paste’ quotations. With Evo Eco we went from a preliminary phone consultation, to a call with a compliance officer, to a very informed and attentive sales visit with a preliminary costing, followed by a site visit/survey, and only then a final design and quotation, and numerous follow up/clarification calls. Decarbonising a home is something you only do once, and the way Evo Eco worked with us gave us the confidence that we were making the right choices throughout.

The installation teams (we had five vans on the drive at one point) were courteous and friendly, and never forgot that they were in our home, rather than just on a worksite. The further advice on metering/tarrifs was excellent and is ongoing.

It’s still early days for us, as the work has only just been completed, but we feel very confident that the system will perform to meet our needs, and that Evo Eco will be there to support us in future

We had a very good experience with EVO ECO . Ben was extremely patient and kind he had to wait very many months for a decision from us , due to family illness etc. I am glad he hung in there and did not give up. Once the decision was taken to go ahead , and it was a very big decision, the whole operation was extremely well handled. Fast and efficient . They turned up when they aid they would,, all the materials were on site etc etc It is a large scheme to run a milking parlour and a farm House. The “ after care “from Sam is also proving to be very helpful indeed. I hope we will be able to do more business with EVO ECO in the near future. .

My Nan has been waiting for 2 months for you guys to sort out an issue with her solar panels tripping out. 4 guys have been round and not one of them have resolved the solution. USELESS cowboys.

We recently bought a solar PV Battery system from EvoEcoHomes of Fareham. As there is so much social media marketing for PV Solar systems at the moment we went and visited their setup in Fareham to establish their pedigree. We were able to see the products and talk through the design that would best suit us. We also opted for an Emergency Power Supply on our key circuits (Battery when power outage at the grid) as living in rural Hampshire this is often an issue for us.
All in all we were very comfortable that we had chosen the right company - not based purely on price as there is always cheaper, but based on the professionalism of what we experienced.
The instal took slightly longer than predicted due to weather but the various trades worked very well as one team - electricians - roofers- scaffolder and were very polite, obliging and careful. (Apparently all staff are trained in house at their training centre and employed directly) The App showing my system working is fun too. All in all I would recommend this established company and would certainly use them should we venture into Heat Pumps. From sales to completion 95/100.

Helpful at all times, highly responsive, advice provided which is straightforward and focused on the issues at hand. In all respects , EvoEco Homes are a first class company who delivered exactly what we wanted - thank you very much indeed

Made contact after a let down from another company, explained the situation, and what i wanted to achieve. They contacted me on a Friday lunchtime to discuss, and offered to complete the installation on the Monday which they did, successfully, politely and without fuss. System has worked very well ever since, and am now discussing extending the system to include a battery.

What a great company. We have used the company for both our residential and buy to let property and they have been amazing. The installation was smooth and the customer service for second to none. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Hope to use for future properties. Thanks guys for being the best

This is definitely one of the worst companies we have come across. Evo Eco Homes installed 12 solar panels and two batteries, we paid almost £14,000 for the whole set up. That was over a year ago in October 2022. Since then we have been having ongoing problems with batteries, they work very intermittently, sometimes working properly for few days/weeks even and then not discharging at all for days/weeks. We have 10 year warranty from Evo Eco Homes for all equipment and workmanship. Initially, within few weeks of installation, they changed both batteries and inverter but this did not fix the problem. After another two months, once it became apparent that the issue still persisted they stopped communicating with us. We tried to resolve the issue via HIES, which is Dispute Resolution Body that they are members of, however, they did not engage. HIES referred us to the Ombudsman who ruled in our favour and ordered them to resolve the battery issue. Following this they made another attempt to fix batteries on 29 January 2024 but again, this did not work and since then they stopped communicating with us. It appears to us that not only they are not capable of fixing the problem they are refusing to the take any responsibility for it or to offer us full reimbursement as per contract. Any professionally run company would adhere to the Ombudsman judgement which tells us as much as we need to know about the way in which Evo Eco Homes is managed. So here we are, after spending £14,000, we are left with a system that does not work properly. We definitely would not recommend this company to anyone.

The whole journey has been excellent. Ben was very helpful and clear at out first and second meetings to explain the benefits of solar. Luke was very pleasant and prompt when he came to do the survey. The installation team were fantastic, so polite, considerate clean & tidy. Finally Sam has been great to help us understand the various Octopus tariffs and to get us signed up. We now just need the sun to shine!

Mr. Sam Vakani has done a remarkable job in suggesting Solar Panels installations and truly answered all the questions on this subject. Very Professional Approach and Paper work incredible to install all the Equipment and saved me a lot on my Energy Bills.

We had a very smooth experience from start to finish. Sam explained every detail to us without complication, gave us the quote and then arranged the installation which was quick and tidily done.
Very good price too.
But the biggest compliment to the company is their excellent customer service.
Sam is our contact and he is always prompt and helpful in his response.

Overall having solar panels fitted by Evoecohomes was a good experience. They were very flexible, well organised and prompt. The installers were professional and tidy. My only note would be they didn’t explain fully about my Fit meter or exporting without a “smart” meter. I would use them again.

Everything about this company is truely impressive. My first communication was with Sam Vakani - he is extremely knowledgable and explained how to get the best from the solar panels using the battery, inverter and hotwater diverter. Luke (the owner) visited to do the site survey and made some recomendations re the placing of technical equipment and panels - no sales pressure whatsoever. We also opted to install a solar compatible car charger. From first contact to completion took three weeks - we were kept informed throughout the installation. Everything was tested before they departed and the use of the app was explained and demonstrated. Polite and friendly installation team. I highly recommend Evo Eco Homes.
