Warning to professionals applying via platforms like Torre. My experience with this CEO was deeply unprofessional and predatory.

1. Phantom Job: I was notified I was 'shortlisted' and promised an interview, only to be ghosted.

2. Harassment: When I requested clarity, I received rejection messages sent at 2:32 AM on a weekend, showing zero respect for boundaries.

3. Fishing for IP: The CEO eventually agreed to a meeting only to aggressively fish for my proprietary tool stack and technical work. When I refused to reveal my methods for free, he suddenly claimed the full-time role was 'filled.'

4. Bait & Switch: He then tried to pivot me into an uncompensated 'Affiliate Program' to find clients for him.

5. Discrimination: To justify the rejection, he criticized my English fluency—a requirement that was NOT listed as 'native' in the original job description for a LatAm applicant. A complete waste of time designed to exploit senior talent.

We worked with Baba Brinkman and Event Rap on our 2025 golf tournament charity auction dinner, presenting several original raps that attendees absolutely loved. The raps created excitement that kept the bids rising all night, and thanks to Baba’s energizing entertainment, our auction grew by $21,000 to a new record level of funds raised for our local hospital! We look forward to working with Event Rap again in the future.

We were thrilled with Event Rap's performance at our virtual Arctic Birthday Party for the High Seas Treaty on Monday, 17 June 2024. We had an Event Rap artist perform a "rap-up" at my company party and everyone's jaws dropped open. They couldn't believe they were watching a live performance that so quickly, cleverly, beautifully, and funnily tied together the themes of the event. Huge fan. The folks at Event Rap were so easy to work with! Baba helped me brainstorm ideas that would fit for our particular team meeting - a quarterly Sales Kick-Off. We decided on a keyword rap, where Baba freestyle rapped based on folks answers in a Zoom Chat. The process was seamless: The owner suggested rappers he thought would be good fits for the videos (he was right), we sent them creative briefs, had a few discussions, set out a timeline, and in the end were delivered fantastic videos without too much unnecessary handholding.
