I can not access my inquiries because they have a phone number I used years ago which I don't remember because I have gone through several phone numbers. Even though I have updated my phone number on their website.
ZERO rating is what they deserve.
Can I give 0? Or a negative digit?
Equifax Ca admittedly during a phone that they made a mistake and merged my account to someone else’s. So now there are two persons using the account. I have called (made over 10 calls, I’ve lost count already) them repeatedly to beg for them to unmerge the accounts. But they did nothing. Goodluck to me if time will come that I will be needing my credit score.
Equifax Canada has the worst customer…
Equifax Canada has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Their staff do not know how to properly serve customers. They do not answer questions and often hang up on customers. My issue has still not been resolved after calling four times. How can we trust a credit bureau with this kind of service?

Equifax ne mérite même pas une étoile. Zéro étoile serait plus juste. La dame au téléphone a été très bête et presqu'impossible de comprendre ce qu'elle disait tellement la ligne et le son étaient mauvais; on entendait tout le monde qui parlait en arrière. Très très agressive la madame. Je n'ai jamais eu un service aussi intimidant de toute ma vie... je ne poursuivrai certainement pas avec eux. Franchement décevant que le gouvernement ne s'en mêle pas.
Emily at Customer Service was horrible.
I signed up for a report, after I got the report I cancelled my account. I was charged the next month and tried to call. After going through 14 menus, they tell you to call back when they are open!! I sent emails, but every email you send opens a new file and NO ONE ever gets back to you. I was again charged and called, 14 menus later during work hours, I got the rudest bee with an itch, Emily. She kept talking over me and giving me information I didn't want or request. All I wanted was to cancel the account. Took almost an hour of her BS to get it cancelled. Their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. Zero stars!!

Charged me twice when I signed up.
When I signed up for their program they charged my credit card twice for it. Then when I called them to do something about it they said I had to wait for the second charge to expire a week later.

Seriously if I could give a minus one thousand for this company, I would. They are scam artist and you're not even speaking to anybody in canada.You're speaking to somebody in the philippines. They're not monitoring my credit, and I proved it to them. All they do is scam you. I had my phone along with my I.D stolen in september of this year and was devastated. You worry about identity theft all the time.And this company right away jumped on me and said, oh, you've got to get this protection. I pay nothing for credit karma, and they're the ones that alerted me that there was a credit check on my account. Not equifax. I waited two weeks for this credit check to show up and it never did. When I called them, of course, they offered excuses, but refused to put me through to a supervisor or refused to put me through to anybody in canada. Anybody out there in canada that wants to start a class action against this company.I'm willing. Please contact me.

Absolutely the WORST company to try & cancel the service with!!! My birthday was input incorrectly…I went to cancel the service and its been over a month of trying to cancel it! Ive sent my drivers and my passport photo and they keep denying the birthday change as “illegible” now you would have to completely unable to see anything to not be able to read my birthday to make the change!!
Been called sir twice by one of the employees named grace as well. Im female! Awesome!

I complaints about my credit been mis-used, I was aware of my credit reports by PC Financial MC, Car Dealership Loans credit request. There were many mistakes, numerous creditors checks. It really affected my credit scores.
I asked the car dealership only to check for my appraisal car value. But they say they needed my SIN. I told them “No”, I don’t want to buy or re-finance a vehicle. I only need a value estimate. I got scammed. I found out there was multiple credit unknowns check without my consent or acknowledgment.
I complain to the Equifax about identity fraud and I was taken advantage of. But Equifax ignored my concerns. Taking the creditors side instead.

Le pire service de MARDE que j’ai jamais reçu. Après avoir écouté 10 minutes de bla-bla, j’ai eu l’option de parler à un agent. J’ai composé cette option et ça fait 49 minutes que j’attends et que je me fais dire que mon appel est très important pour eux. Encore pire quand tu essaies de te connecter à ton compte tu reçois toujours un message d’erreur. On est obligé de mettre une étoile pour pouvoir écrire un commentaire mais moi j’en aurais mis -50.

I wish i could give 0/5 . This is by far the absolute worst service you could possibly buy or be stuck with. All incompetent literally no one knows anything at all . your name , credentials are always wrong, it takes forever for them to change it . By the meantime you apply for credit card and they refuse it and it affects your credit , and the infinite loop goes on . Ive called multiple times to resolve issues about credentials no one takes actions. Dont ever go with equifax, if a bank tells with they are affiliated with equifax only ,leave . You will only have problems from now on if you decide to go with route .
