I believe they are one of the best value for money API out there.
Very coherent and user friendly API syntax. which is not trivial considering the breadth of data.
top notch service and chat, with on point answers to data/coding/syntax so implementation is super fast.
I hope to see them adding Futures and options Data.

Great service at a reasonable price. But the support has been excellent. In the last year, I had 2 instances of the API being down over the weekend. I sent in an email expecting it to be answered on Monday, but within 1 hour, the issue was fixed.

I have used these folks for years. Their data is accurate, their prices are excellent (haven't raised mine in 10 years even though the price of my plan has increased), their support (Kate) is responsive and helpful. I couldn't be happier.

This data-feed is a great service. The data was always clean and reliable. There were never any problems with availability. The speed of the data feed was more than sufficient for my purposes.

I misunderstood how they align AdjustedClose and Close Prices. That is very technical, the thing is. I asked them in the live chat, and I got immediate response. They explained to me how they do it, and this is a very technical thing to inquire. It was absolutely amazing, quick replies, real consideration for the question, and I didn't even get insulted for being wrong!

Well curated data, includes delisted companies, fairly priced, SUPERB customer service. The best provider at this price point.

I really appreciate that EODHD has 24x7 chat support, the assigned members on the chat support responded in a reasonable time and with the necessary information that is asked. EODHD show an estimated reply time above their chat window which is dynamic too. This is a good feature. In general their website looks great

I like your APIs and your support, according to everything I have explored in my research you all match me criteria.

Excellent service. I was struggling to find comprehensive stock data for my college project, as Yahoo was only offering limited information. The support I received was fantastic and helped me resolve my queries.

Low price and good range of data and great technical support

I have been a subscriber for two years and i am completely satisfied with the product (lowest paid tier). The product is well-priced and the data quality - at least for commodities and indices - is good and usable. The request response time and update frequency is adequate for my needs (daily data) and i haven't even found another service that provides futures data at this price point.
I used Python to retrieve and manage data btw.

Really exceptional product and service. The API is simple and easy to integrate and they always seem to be available on chat to answer your questions.

Pros:
Support is very responsive and thorough. Got the help I needed and the whole experience was just pleasant.

Cons:
Not transparent with intraday data missing if stock was delisted before 2020. The documentation states intraday data begins from 2004 and the prices page advertise 30+ years data range.
Same problem for stock split and dividends data.

The support hours are phenomenal. Dependable API's to run our operations day to day.

Do not make the same mistake as me because I now have to refactor my application to remove dependency to the problematic EODHistoricalData.com API. I will of course cancel my subscription to this incomplete API when I finish this unnecessary work, which I have to do. Because EOD has false advertising on their documentation.

Unfortunately the overall experience with this data vendor is not good at all. There are serious limitations to their API and their support is condescending and vague at best. They advertise that they provide intraday quotes for all NYSE/NASDAQ stocks but in reality, their intraday quotes API does not work with the current symbol of a stock, if the stock ticker has changed before 2022. In addition to that, they do not provide any other API that can give this information, so that developers can at least do the integration them selves.

The response from their support was that I have to find this data my self on the internet and implement it my self. Hey Unicorn Data Services. That's why I'm paying you in the first place, to get structured data from you, you are supposed to be the data vendor, remember? Why don't you go and extend your system a bit and provide the complete list of ticker changes to your paying customers? Or better yet, why don't you make sure all your endpoints are consistent and they return data using the latest ticker?

Could it be because you don't have the expertise because you are simply reselling some else's data perhaps?

Unicorn Data Services has multiple limitations and this makes building your application using their data much harder than it has to be. They are rarely willing to respond and improve their services. So it would be a bad idea to invest time to build software using their feed.

I use EODHD for everything on base.report. The data is great and pricing is very reasonable.

With financial data, no provider is going to be right 100% of the time. What makes EODHD stand out is their amazing support team that helps you with any problems you encounter.

Smaller issues you report will get fixed instantly. For bigger issues, they will be fully transparent and let you know if it's something they can't promise an ETA for. This is probably the thing I appreciate the most. Especially after trying out two other providers before, who would be ambiguous and leave your problems unattended to for months.

I hope they keep this up, because I can't imagine going to any other data provider. It's so rare to have a support team that's this knowledgable, this responsive, and never gives you BS.
