Fantastic energy company

We have been with Octopus for many years, since they took over Co-Op energy. The prices have always been reasonable, the service fine and the “greenness” pretty good. I have seen interviews with the CEO, usually on Money Saving Expert programmes and I do think he seems honest and upfront, which is rare these days. Overall a decent company.

Emailed a couple of questions regarding my options of tariffs and received a reply back next day from Will, very quick response, polite and helpful.

I have been with this company for over 10 years now at 2 different addresses. My online account is easy to manage and I take .monthly readings to keep on top of my bills.
I frequently join the energy saving sessions and like the clean energy initiatives.

I have been a Octopus customer from the start & I love them.
I tried a different tariff, which was so simple to change. It didn't work, so I have changed again, back to my Original Tariff.
So simple & user friendly.

Good advice from Octopus that actually seemed to prioritize getting the best deal for me as opposed to squeezing as much out of me as possible.

Bit confused ? As I have just read that the price cap has gone down today, but my quote from you that you sent me a few weeks ago - didn’t go down.
But usually you are very helpful and cost-effective and very prompt customer service.

East to manage

there's not a lot you can say about Octopus energy they are consistently working to give the customer good value I tend to keep my account in good working order so I get good value for my money they are polite with the best customer service I have ever known

You could put the fixed/flexible comparison figures on the same page rather scrolling unnecessarily up and down

I visited the site to look at the available tariffs as our current fixed tariff is about to expire.
Comparing tariffs was easy enough, and I was able to sign up to a similar 12 month tariff thus fixing our energy prices for another 12 months

Online website very helpful and easy to use, prices reasonable.

Octopus is excellent, the app is great, if you run into an issue the customer service via the app or the telephone is also really good. We have been with them for around 6 years and have had no issues unlike with previous suppliers
