Endel makes great focus and relaxation sounds — the app itself deserves 5 stars.

But when I signed up on Aug 2, 2025 for a 7-day free trial, I was charged ~$60 that same day. The invoice only covered 3 months, and the app shows confusing billing info (like a “next billing” date months before I even subscribed).

I’ve emailed support four times and received zero response. That’s not acceptable.

So: 5 stars for the product, 0 for customer service. Overall I’m leaving 2 stars until Endel fixes their billing practices and actually responds to customers.

Weirdly enough, it works! I have troubles falling asleep, and Endel's Sleep mode helps me a great deal. I leave it on through the night and feel much fresher in the morning. I've started using Focus while working lately, and it helps me concentrate, too. It sounds weird, but this thing actually works for me.

****SCAM***I have not a clue who these people are. I have never downloaded their app. I don’t know what they stand for what their business is but yet somehow my credit card was charged $127 and it has been very rough getting my money back this is ridiculous. I don’t know how they get people‘s information or what is going on because I’ve never heard of them in my life

Endel has really helped me focus at work but also wind down coming home from the office. I feel a bit more mindful overall

I don’t know what they put in these sounds but they work. I just do stuff with it, doesn’t matter work related or personal. Pushed quite a few projects with Endel on the background already. Definitely worth the money for me

Great app, scientifically backed and everything, pleasant to use - great design. I use it mainly for sleep but started to work with it recently also ot it does what it claims. Worth subscribing.

Endel kinda became my daily routine: morning Focus while I work, a little Relax when my head’s fried, then Sleep at night. The audio is subtle, like a soft bubble around you, not “music” that grabs attention. App is simple (thank you), timers are easy, nothing noisy or spammy. After a couple weeks I noticed less doomscroll, more getting stuff done, sleep feels deeper too. For me it’s the best one so far

Best soundscapes for coding

I was charged $119.99 on September 11, 2025 by a company called Endel (Endel Sound GmbH). I never signed up, authorized, or used this service. I did not knowingly agree to any subscription, free trial, or purchase.

The charge appears to be for an annual subscription to an app I’ve never downloaded or used. It is not listed in my Apple subscriptions, nor is there any record of me agreeing to the terms. This appears to be an unauthorized or deceptive charge, and I am formally disputing it. I also attempted to contact the company and have received no reply.

Not only does sound really help me stay concentrated or relax during the sessions, I also really enjoy the aesthetic of the app.

I really love this app.
I love the variety of soundscapes.
You can find a sound that fits any occasion - from focusing sessions to relaxing in a bath, or having a nice, refreshing sleep - for everything.
I find it a little bit expensive, but got my subscription half-price as an offer - so it is ok.

Scammers. Don’t even try their free trial. They just charge you and they don’t respond to your email. Currently disputing with my bank.

SCAMMERS. Sign up for a free trial then change £59.99 after 7 days so a whole yar subscription not just a month. Stay away, they don't respond when you complain too.

You will be scammed and your app store will uphold the charges, terrible app that I have been charged £59.99 for a years subscription despite only using this trash once.

Scammer company who charged users who tried their app and the money is gone. Google Play refused to refund the charges

Endel is with a shitty Cs an ordinary marketing plot. You can find music, binaural beats with a similar or even better effect on YouTube and in a bigger quantity then Endel has

I tried to sign up for a free trial, they charged the full price right away and refusing to issue a refund. They are scammers. Stay away.

I attempted to sign up for the free trial but was immediately charged €59. Despite contacting Apple and Endel support multiple times, I was told they can't do anything about it. The process was misleading and fraudulent. I wouldn't recommend the experience to anyone.
