Every Elyon composition contains forty percent pure perfume oil and is aged for thirty-five months in private vaults in Dubai. The ingredients, from fifty-year-aged ambergris to the rarest Assam oud, are sourced through relationships that took our master perfumer a lifetime to build. His name will never be revealed. I purchased this cologne on the basis of claims made that this cologne was better than the likes of Sauvage by Dior
I purchased this cologne on the basis of comparisons made to other colognes I own and like. I own well over 100 bottles of high-end colognes, and I am always being complimented either at the office or anywhere I travel by both men and women. This company makes references about potentially getting charged stateside a minor import duty fee, but they do not provide any idea of what that might be, I live in the United States, state of Georgia and was charged an additional $111.34 to have DHL not hold this cologne hostage and deliver to me. Now, let me be clear my 3-Star review has nothing to do with this Import Duty Charge. I have worn this cologne 3x and have requested feedback as, this Cologne smells very strong like burnt cedar wood, not very appealing. I would give them 5-Stars as it does last all-day, which would be a great thing if it had more of a Spice/Light Floral Scent mixed into it. The Himeros cologne literally smells like I have been churning cedar wood on lathe machine for 8 hours straight and have gotten all over myself. Now on a different and more positive note. They include a sample that is not in production yet from what I understand, I believe it is called ARIAs, now this cologne does smell good and would consider buying it but wouldn't think it would be worth their original cost of Himeros of $311.34 inclusive of Import Duty Fees for a small 1.7oz. For now, what I have done to make Himeros smell decent is mix one of my other spicier colognes in a 3-1 to even 4-1 mixed spray, with 1 being Himeros.

I cant get over how they smell better and better as tge day goes on. I just feel so deeply satisfied wearing these fragrances.

Just to clarify, what you were charged is import duty imposed by your country’s customs, not by us. We don’t set or control these fees, and DHL simply collects them on behalf of customs before delivery. This is outlined on our policy page and also shown at checkout prior to purchase.
That said, we never want you to feel like you’ve lost that value. That’s why we mirror the full amount paid in import duty back to you as store credit, so it stays with you for a future order.
We’re also truly sorry to hear the scent didn’t meet your expectations. Fragrance is very personal, and your experience matters to us.
