I had taken the 'Composing for Video Games' course that was taught by Instructor Jason Graves. My ELVTR liaison was Saul Mora.

It gave me a lot of much needed direction and polish. The instructor was enthusiastic about our learning which motivated me to perform better, beyond that he also gave us access to a great networking circle that is sure to help us in our future endeavors should we appropriately leverage it. Overall, it was a great experience that refined my creative process, introduced me to the business/industry side of things, provided me with some experiences that reflect real-world environments, and provided a solid springboard for future employment.

The ELVTR team were also very accommodating to my queries and requests despite however frequent or trivial they might seem.
It was a very streamlined experience overall.

Fantastic content delivered by a wonderful course leader, has opened the floodgates of opportunity, by showing me key insights for my future career, the course was a decent length, was challenging in a welcoming way which made me want to strive, a feeling I haven't had for a long time. Worth every penny, loved my time with ELVTR.

Jason Graves’ course was inspiring and practical—full of real-world tips on storytelling through music, game scoring techniques, and creative sound design. A must for aspiring game composers!

The environment, lessons and instructors were all very engaging and knowledgeable. Especially when it comes to the ever shifting landscape of AI. The frame works provided not only applied to the utilization if ai but how to be proficient as a person in creative spaces .

I participated in the "Become a Game Writer" course with Adam Dolin and I can say it's totally worth it.

As an introductory course to game development and particularly to game writing they are excellent. They provide structured guidance about the most common tools used in the industry, some of the processes too. They also explain and have you practice the four or five basic kinds of products any game writer should master.

The instructors are great and it's also a good place to make friends and contacts for future projects.

As a person with previous experience in writing, both creative and scholar, couldn't ask much more from this course.

The rest depends on each of us to really make ourselves a path as game creatives!!

How to Become a Game Writer was a course I did not anticipate taking this year. I am that I did! Everyone was kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I learned new aspects of writing that I originally thought I knew about, and now I am able to look at creative writing through the lens of game writing and development- a concept I never thought of prior. This has not only introduced me to game design but enabled me to dive deeper into my writing by examing things, like the relationship between the player and the characters, even more.

With no relevant education or experience, just following my childhood dream, I took an animation scriptwriting course from ELVTR by David Weiss and Steven Roy. Not only talented and well-versed in writing scripts for animated features and TV, but they are a rare type of true teachers who care about you as a person and aspiring professional. While David generously shared his wisdom gained on productions like Rugrats, Shrek, and Hypergalactic (as well as some unsuccessful projects – I think that was double important), Steven commented on every tiny detail in my assignments and final project. So, from having nothing but a random idea, in less than 3 months, I crafted a pitch deck of my animated feature IP. To me, it felt like a giant leap. I keep writing a script and have some trouble with discipline, so I really hope there will be a successor class to work on finalizing our screenplays. Our Discord community is still active months after the class, and people keep exchanging feedback and inspiration. I loved everything about this experience.

Fantastic, comprehensive training course.

It was a really great experience. From the start talking to someone at ELVTR about what the course actually was and how it would help you if you wanted to freelance or change careers, to hearing from Julia about the industry. The Discord server they make for the class to talk to each other is such a nice touch and made me feel like I was in the classroom. I didn’t feel pressured to attend if I was busy or working. I love the information they give and while I was nervous about the assignments, I liked them and I feel I learned a lot. Definitely sign up if you want to learn about an industry in-depth and just want to try it out!

I took the BECOME A GAME WRITER course taught by Adrian Ropp and TA Carrie Harris. Both provided in-depth feedback and expressed genuineness in their feedback and teaching. I appreciate the opportunity ELVTR provided and may take another class from them someday!

I learned many important work skills and also life skills at the Creative Director course. It helped me see the latest trends and meet other creative people with the same mindset. I appreciate the teachings of Randy and Alec with the great assistance of Mariana. Thank you, ELVTR!

I really liked the AI Solution Architect course. The course covered important topics in depth and had practical exercises that let me use my skills in real situations. The skilled and absolutely wonderful teachers, Duc and Tony, gave helpful tips, and I had a great time connecting with my classmates. Our fantastic administrator Brayan was always there for us, invisibly making sure everything works as should and even better. The materials were always current. Finishing the course greatly improved my job opportunities. Overall, it was a life changing experience that gave me great chance to grow in the AI field!

The AI Solution Architect Course was phenomenal! The initial “Welcome Class” introduction meeting really set the tone, meeting Duc, Tony, Brayan and all the participants for the first time.

The weekly assignments, the questions asked in the chat during the live classes by participants taking the course, the professionalism, and cool calm and collective of Duc and Tony facilitating the meetings was absolutely awesome. Those are just a few of my favorite highlights from the AISA course for the 2 months.

The Demo Day presentations were amazing. If you sign up for a slot, you’re able to showcase an AI Project idea, collaborate with the participants and display what you learned during the AISA course.

This course was very challenging for me being way out of my comfort zone, and certain this is the new growth zone moving forward in my career.

I’m truly grateful and thankful I signed up for this course. I learned a wealth of invaluable information in terms of new AI concepts, AI tools, AI ethics and a lot more.

Thank you ELVTR team for having me in this course. And thank you Peter, Brayan, Tony, and Duc.

Maxxed out on e-learning. I took UXUI for gaming with Ivy Sang and the one thing I missed was more feedback and one-on-one questions with Ivy and Jacob, but that was on me for being too busy outside of school. I took this course while moving and while working a full-time job, and STILL thought it was awesome. If you got a lot of free time, these courses allow you to go deep on the subjects, and connect a lot with the teachers. I want to take another one soon hopefully!

On enquiry they got in touch with me very quickly to explain the programme, and gave me time to decide if I wanted to go ahead or not. The course ended up being amazing and I learned so much. It was great to network with other students and the Elvtr staff were always kind and helpful!

I specifically asked them to contact me via email, but instead, they keep calling me every single day. It’s extremely frustrating and unprofessional. They completely ignored my preferred method of communication and have become a daily disturbance. I would not recommend dealing with them if you value your time and peace of mind.

It was great learning from home.
ELVTR has many great courses to continue my education and I look forward to what's offered next.

The overall experience was pretty good! For the (very high) price I definitely got the service and the information, but the grading policies could have been more upfront and laid out better, especially the fact that the instructor would not have a part in the grading (which makes sense given how busy I’m sure he is, but I would feel a little less cheated had I known that upfront). That’s about it!

P.S. the grading took so long that I at this point have no idea what date to put in the “date of experience” section.

This course was amazing. Jason was an amazing instructor. He covers everything in great detail. His real world experience, along with his patience and attention to detail, is unmatched. No matter your level of experience, you will learn from him.

I had appt to discuss with this young man as an artist and he never called or text and the appt was at 1:00pm on April 21, 2025 Female Artist ''NO RESPONS FROM HIM
