These people are obviously poorly managed. I guess that they offer cheap rates to other cheap international couriers and when the package arrives they unjustifiably claim insufficient address details in order to cover delayed delivery. So you get emails from them and from Amazon nove of which offer a mode of response. Then they deliver normally!!!
The parent company is in a state of collapse and goodness knows what is happening internally.

Περίμενα δέμα από Δανία.
Δεν ειδοποιήθηκα ποτε ,ότι είχε έρθει Ελλάδα,πόσο μάλλον στο ΕΛΤΑ της πόλης μου.
Μόνη μου έψαξα και το βρήκα.
Οταν το ανέφερα στο γραφείο ΕΛΤΑ,που πήγα να παραλάβω το δέμα …η απάντηση τους ήταν ,ότι δεν βρήκαν το σπίτι!!!
Χωρίς να έχουν στείλει εμαιλ ή μήνυμα για την παραλαβή!!

Why are they even allowed to trade?. They claim to deliver. When you call to enquire they send you from one telephone number to another, only to claim to have delivered, when they haven't.

Μακρυά.Περιμενω σημαντικό δέμα από Θεσσαλονίκη,στο tracking φαίνεται εδώ και επτά μέρες υπό επεξεργασία,τηλέφωνα δεν σηκωνουν,στα mail δεν απαντάνε.Ας το κλείσουν να γλυτώσουμε και μεις από προμηθευτές που εν αγνοία μας στέλνουν με ΕΛΤΑ.

Σήμερα περίμενα όλη την ημέρα για το δέμα μου, το οποίο σύμφωνα με το μήνυμα στο κινητό μου θα έφτανε μεταξύ 9:00 και 17:00.
Στις 3:50, λαμβάνω άλλο μήνυμα που έλεγε ότι "έγινε προσπάθεια παράδοσης" της αποστολής..." Δηλώστε νέα ημερομηνία παράδοσης".
Σημειωτέον ότι δεν έλειψα από το σπίτι μου, το όνομά μου είναι με κεφαλαία στα κουδούνια και προφανώς ο courier σας δεν πέρασε από εδώ.
Εκείνο που με ενοχλεί ιδιαίτερα είναι ότι τάχα έγινε "προσπάθεια παράδοσης". Τηλεφώνησα στα γραφεία σας και η υπάλληλος μου απαντά ότι ο courier δεν με βρήκε και ρώτησε αν το όνομά μου είναι στο κουδούνι. Της απάντησα "είναι με κεφαλαία" και την ρώτησα γιατί δεν άφησε σημείωση ότι πέρασε τάδε ώρα και δεν με βρήκε; 'Ετσι γινόταν τον παλιό καλό καιρό. Τώρα χρησιμοποιούν μια ψευδή δικαιολογία ότι τάχα "έγινε προσπάθεια παράδοσης". Δεν με ενοχλεί τόσο η καθυστέρηση όσο το ΨΕΜΑ. Απλά ήταν Παρασκευή και ο courier ήθελε να σχολάσει γρήγορα. Κάποτε οι εταιρείες σέβονταν τον πελάτη και ήταν ειλικρινείς μαζί του. Σήμερα, κάποιες από αυτές, μεταξύ των οποίων και η δική σας, τον γράφουν στα παλιά τους τα παπούτσια. Τις προάλλες, ενώ είχα πληρώσει τον προμηθευτή για παράδοση κατ' οίκον με την εταιρεία σας, έλαβα μήνυμα να πάω να το πάρω σε ένα BOX NOW, σχεδόν δύο χιλιόμετρα μακριά. Η ταλαιπωρία μου με την ΕΛΤΑ Courier είναι χωρίς τέλος... Αλλά την επιλέγουν οι προμηθευτές και δεν μπορώ να τους επιβάλλω άλλη εταιρεία. Λυπάμαι και ντρέπομαι για λογαριασμό σας.

I'm from Greece and i don't feel good to do that but I have to inform people that interesting to send anything to Greece.Be careful, if you send anything from abroad be sure that when the package arrived to Greece it won't received from elta courier, co operate with other courier company.I send a package from Netherlands to Greece, it arrived there in 5 days and it stay in a central storage around 3 weeks and still no employer cares to deliver it to its destination. It's unbelievable. I try to communicate by phone or mail but the employees there are so bored to fix the problem

Μοναδικό πλεονέκτημα ότι το δέμα φτάνει παντού στην Ελλάδα, μέσω των απλών ταχυδρομείων της, το οποίο δε μπορεί να περάσει αμελητέο. Κατά τα άλλα δε θα τη χρησιμοποιούσα για κανένα λόγο. Με έχει κουράσει απίστευτα. Ψέματα για ανύπαρκτες προσπάθειες παράδοσης, δε σηκώνουν ποτέ τηλέφωνο, δε βγαίνει άκρη με τα χαμένα δέματα, ένα χάος...

Terrible service and no interest to assist at all.

I waiting for a package that has arrived at the main warehouse in Athens on 15 July, and it has been two weeks and no further info has been received.

No one answers any phone. When I managed to speak with someone today (i.e. after two weeks), they confirmed that the package is there and that they do not know when it will move due to "workload", and that I should send an email so that someone sees it and maybe it gets prioritised, and there is nothing else they can do nor provide an estimated time of delivery.

Ουρά απ'έξω, αλά όποιος έχει παραλαβή, λέει με τη σειρά του Νούμερο και εξυπηρετείται.
Προυπόθεση να έχεις βάλει τον Αριθμό σου στο σάητ, και να ξέρεις σε ποιο κατάστημα έχει φτάσει.

I want to sincerely thank ELTA and especially their support team for the incredible assistance I received. My situation was a bit complicated, as I live abroad and couldn’t be there in person to handle the customs process. Despite that, their team patiently guided me through every step, responded to my emails, and made sure my parcel wouldn’t be returned.

They went above and beyond, and thanks to them, I’m finally receiving my package. I truly, truly appreciate their professionalism, kindness, and the human approach they showed throughout.

I know their rating might not reflect it, but my experience was excellent—and I will absolutely recommend ELTA to others. Thank you again for everything!

among the worst couriers for Greece.
They lie about coming by the house. They never ring the bell, they never leave a note, because they never come by. On the phone they say they came by and noone answered the door. They expect you to go to them to pick up your parcel. Tragic

They keep lying to me about not finding me at home. But they never leave a note to prove they actually came. So, they force you to go to the depot to get it yourself.

j'ai remis à la poste de Bourg en bresse le 11/12/2023 un colis pour la grece envoyé en colissimo.Numero de bordereau CC069350363FR Un mois plus tard le colis n'est toujours pas livré à son destinataire. La poste grecque et Elta courier se partagent les taches mais sont aussi mauvais l'un que l'autre. Le colis est en Grece depuis le 14.12.Avant hier le suivi s'arrêtait au 9,01,24 au matin. Le colis devait partir en livraison. Mais hier soir changement: le suivi ne va pas plus loin que le 21,12,23. Le destinataire les a contacté aujourd'hui : ils annoncent une livraison peut etre dans une semaine. Comment la poste francaise qui est serieuse peut elle oser travailler avec de tels partenaires incompétents et laxistes qui font honte à la profession de transporteur?

Πολύ καλή εξυπηρέτηση από την υπηρεσία Πόρτα-Πόρτα και παράδοση αποστολών στα αναμενόμενα χρονικά διαστήματα 1 - 2 εργάσιμων ημερών ακόμα και στην Εύβοια που υστερεί στις υπηρεσίες Courier. Επίσης δυνατότητα αξιόπιστης αναλυτικής παρακολούθησης αποστολής online από τα ΕΛΤΑ courier
