Very quick turnover for my electric certification. Thank you very much for an efficient and reasonable service.

Price for first inspection is good, but the price for any work required is not so competitive. After work done, a five year reinspection is required, but afterwards they revert to three years. Report stated no reading was obtained from one socket- but this socket was working and being used to charge phones immediately before and after the testing. I told them this and was advised the engineer would contact me. They never came back to me and when I chased this, the manager didn't want to know. Overall, I they seem a good price but when you annualise the costs, it isn't so great.

Great service, excellent price quality ratio. I needed a boiler check, gas certificate and EICR for my property and all other providers had very high prices. Efficient Home Energy had an amazingly convenient bundle, plenty of available appointments and easy way to book one online. I booked it instantly. The engineer was a bit late but when I called them they were really nice apologizing and offering to move the appointment which I did not do so they gave me a new estimate time for the same day. The engineer arrived as per revised time and conducted the visit with great politeness, professionalism and efficiency. It took him a very short time and the certificates arrived less than 2 business days later. Totally recommend this service!

On the 10th of November, I asked for boiler work from them and they didn't show.

I left them a bad review on here and considered the matter closed. I'll say that the review had both order number and invoice number to clearly reference my transaction. (these are it, just in case: Order: #33715, Invoice #1564).

A few days ago I received a request from Efficient Home Energy "for more detail". My full name, phone, email, AND order number.

I'm a little confused as this order number is on the review and all other info to contact me is already part of my account.

What I'm thinking is they're trying to artificially boost their rating on here by prompting for this info. I'd bed that 99% of people would not bother to chase up so the bad (but honest) review gets taken down.

Trust pilot needs to be a bit more proactive at protecting the truth from such sly tactics.

I was recommended to use Efficient Home Energy by the Estate Agent who I will be renting my property through. I can understand why. From the initial (intuitive and easy) website portal where I first booked my assessment, through to the follow up electrical remedial works were done, the team have been nothing short of being super helpful. Excellent communication over email and on the ‘phone. Clear costing breakdown and speedy turnaround on certificate provision. Fantastic and professional engineers onsite too, who all did an excellent job - with a shoutout to Ervis, for the key piece of work that needed doing. Thank you!

3rd years using EHE (last time was 7Jan 2026) and they’ve always been very professional, polite and provided a quick excellent service. The service guys have all been different but all have always come early and are pleasant. EHE also issue me with appropriate gas safety and service certificates electronically on the same day. I don’t have to chase them and I fund their prices competitive!

how many ways can say i'm grateful to these people.

We are all wary of contacting cold but they were brilliant.

Firstly they are cheap (my usual electrician wanted exactly 3 times the 99 quid they offered.

Ok you gotta factor in the extra cost if it fails - which it did - A dodgy socket that me tenant had siliconed over. So im thinking this is gonna cause a problem - I fix it and then re-inspect. What if it fails again?

But they said they'd fix it AND certify for 150 quid so im still ahead. And it was a peculiar job - a problem with the screws into the backing box were very non standard so Im glad they took the responsibility! (Thanks Etan!)

Really happy with the EPC service for my London flat. The assessor was friendly, on time, and made everything super easy. Didn’t take long at all, and I got the certificate back quickly too.

Would definitely recommend!
