competitive pricing with good communication

Used this company to purchase an ioSafe G3 fireproof backup device to replace my ageing Buffalo drive.
Ordering was straight forward, price competitive and delivery excellent.
First off I was a bit put off as I had to agree to their NCNR terms not once but twice, however, knowing these terms had zero effect on my statutory rights of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I proceeded and was happy with end result

After a minor initial missunderstanding, quickly sorted, all went well. Clear documentation, immediate progress updates, and quick delivery.

I recently purchased an Akasa Turing FX case from ecprof.com. This item was delivered to me on the 7th day following my payment as told. Well done!

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with ECPROF. They failed to inform me about customs charges before shipping, and when I tried to return the product because of these unexpected costs, they refused to accept the return. It is unbelievable — they offered no solution whatsoever and basically said “take it or leave it,” while still refusing to take it back.

Customer service was absolutely terrible. On the phone, the agent eventually just went silent and stopped responding. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told none were available — only for her to immediately say she needed to speak to the manager herself. On chat, it was exactly the same story: no help, no accountability, no effort to resolve the issue.

An unexpected price increase of over 25% due to customs charges is more than a valid reason to return a product, yet they would not acknowledge this at all.

If you are in the Republic of Ireland, I strongly advise you NOT to order from them. You risk losing money because customs charges can be extremely high, sometimes even more than VAT, and you cannot reclaim them. Buy from within Ireland instead — you support local businesses and avoid dealing with companies like this.

Great company to deal with, from purchase to delivery. Constant updates and the package arrived earlier than expected. Would recommend and hope to continue dealing with ECPROF.

Clear communication about the ordering process for this special item. However, the email saying the item had been shipped arrived three days after the parcel was delivered!

Terrible service, showed Item was in stock, so ordered expresss delivery as needed ASAP. Turns out they were not holding stocking and was relying on a 3rd party distributor, item didn't ship for 1 week after order, no offer of refund on express delivery charge.

Poor communication and misleading shipping and transit time. Promoted at 5-7 days but after order was placed advised that needed to consolidate with other orders and will ship "...as soon as possible". Offered to collect, told not possible. Updated 8th September that would be delivered in 6-8 business days. Chased tracking on 18th September, response but no tracking. Chased 25th September and advised due into the UK warehouse following day and would be turned round the same day. Order placed 4th September, delivered 2nd October! Communicated at time of order that this was being purchased for a crew mobilisation, this was a contingency item so luckily not needed.

Quick despatch of a product I couldn’t find anywhere else. Took care to ensure I knew it was ‘no return’.

Was sceptical at 1st, as prices are so good, went on reviews and bought items, and arrived as described, absolutely delighted with service
