Exceptional company – highly recommended
We had a very large and complicated job carried out by this company and honestly, we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
Not only did our old conservatory need removing, but all of the foundations had to be taken out as well, which proved to be incredibly challenging. Initially, we had designed another conservatory, as that was what we believed we wanted. This was first discussed and designed between myself and Roy, and then partially redesigned following the survey by Ian. With Ian’s vision, the project evolved into it being an additional room, which is now a significant upgrade from a traditional conservatory. Every step of this process was handled with ease and professionalism. Both men introduced ideas we would never have considered ourselves, and their knowledge is what truly created the exceptional space we now enjoy.
Work started on 10th November, and the foundations were far harder to remove than expected, taking around a week longer than planned. Despite this, the builders (Shane and Ian) persevered through challenging weather conditions, and when the job fell behind, they even worked weekends to catch up. They were dependable, hardworking, and genuinely friendly to have around.
Micky, the electrician, did an outstanding job. The quality of his work was second to none, from the full electrical installation, including all lighting, to wiring a particularly challenging radiator that we had purchased ourselves (not realising at the time how complex this would be). He also provided helpful contacts for additional issues outside of his direct remit. He truly went above and beyond what was expected of him.
Shane and Ian took on far more than just the rebuild; they also played a key role in bringing our vision for the patio and wider garden to life. Their advice and guidance had a significant influence on the overall style, resulting in what I now proudly call my perfect garden. Ian’s brickwork was of an exceptionally high standard throughout. A special mention must go to Shane for his impeccable workmanship when laying the porcelain patio tiles — his knowledge and attention to detail are truly exceptional.
The project was completed on 11th December, within the recommended timeframe Even with all the challenges they faced, they stayed true to their timeframe, which really shows how reliable they are. Any small issues that came up were handled quickly and with genuine care by the entire team.
The overall finish is brilliant. The final design is actually far better than we ever imagined, and it has completely transformed our house. What had been years of stress and worry about how this room might turn out was made easy by them every step of the way.
We genuinely can’t fault anyone in the team or anyone who has put their hard work and determination into our lovely new room. We would recommend them without hesitation to anyone considering similar work- thank you to the Ecozenic team.
