From the very first day, I was truly impressed with how professionally handled my loan application with Economic Justice Fund. The staff was very quick to respond about loan queries and willing to explain things until the client is fully satisfied. I also feel blessed to know Scott Berman, loan officer. He took care of me when I needed financial assistance. He was very calm, patient and kind. He was tremendously responsive, extremely knowledgeable and professional. He even went out on his way to make sure that my needs were met. It was such a pleasure and an honor to be one of their clients, And I sincerely recommend them to those in need of financial help.

Economic Justice Fund was an excellent lender in terms of responsiveness, feedback regarding the loan agreement, and processed funds rapidly. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of a loan with reasonable interest rates. An extremely amazing company to say the least.

I just got done with signing my closing documents for my loan with Economic Justice Fund !!!! It was a fast and simple process my loan is expected to hit my bank account tomorrow:) If everything goes well then I won’t have to update this review but so far so good. Update* November 24,2021: I had to edit my review to make it “5” stars!! My loan was in my account at 8:00am & I paid all my bills by 10am!! Love you guys! This is a legit company , I was skeptical myself googling this company to make sure they weren’t linked to fraud & I NEVER found anything like that!! So before you go to the extreme of getting a title loan or something like that APPLY HERE 1st!! Even if you have bad credit!!! Thank you so much

I had high hopes, but instantly had issues.
I do not see how these other people have such great reviews.

The loan was not replied to in a timely manner. They lied about sending me an email on 04/16/2021, which I was able to confirm with Microsoft office/outlook support. They have their phone go directly to their voicemail.

I only got an actual reply after I threatened to submit a complaint to the IRS. Even then it was all excuses about how their underwriting team dropped the ball and failed to perform basic steps most underwriting teams would perform. Causing me even more delays and in the end, having a denied application.

If you also have a shady interaction with this company, reach out to the IRS and submit a complaint. They take complaints very seriously. Especially if they are say targeting "veterans" and other "minorities".

Update: Scott reached back out with this email response to me.

"Below is clear evidence that your public statement was false and potentially slanderous to the Economic Justice Fund. We take these matters quite seriously. "

As you can see, they are more worried about their review than actually helping someone who needs it.

My response to him: I gave him my address if he wants to sue me otherwise, he should be helping me and worrying about the review later. This is just my opinion.

In the end, if I would have been able to see the email and respond to it or their underwriting team reached out, we would not be in this situation.

The process was simple and fast. David Williams was wonderful and handled the process beautifully! Excellent choice for someone with a high debt to income ratio but perfect payment history. Everyone's financial situation is different and I am so glad Economic Justice Fund took the time to look beyond the surface and provide me the opportunity to pay off my extremely high interest rate loans and save a ton of money each month. Mr Berman Scott called us back within an hour, and with his support we applied/qualified for a loan in 3 days! This loan was something we really needed for our work truck repairs, during these tough times. We came close to taking out a high-interest loan when my email leaked out to 3rd parties, but through further research for veterans financial support, we finally found EJF.

I was so close to losing hope during this pandemic and then I came across the Economic Justice Fund. The process was so smooth and professional. Unlike other organizations that were quick to dismiss my small business due to this or that. My interaction with this organization was nothing but positive and productive.
