bad experience and no customer service response
I bought two kites for my kids, which were advertised as eco friendly on their website. They also said the long string was cotton - it is not, it's made of crude oil. I doubt that the kite is recycled at all. I emailed, they returned with a completely dismissive reply and didn't reply back although I asked to return or for a refund. Please avoid, there are already too many companies out there green washing their products.
Edit regarding your reply: you have not at all offered me a full refund, you simply said that unless the kites were unopened I could not send them back or get a refund (as per your policies, which said nothing about an item being faulty or not as advertised).
You also said that, despite your admission that the kites were not as described, I still had to cover postage myself (and you would not refund me at all, because they were opened). How could I have known the kites were not as advertised before I opened them? You are not at all an ethical company and that's what bothers me the most.
I have sent you several emails on different days to try and get to a compromise, you have never responded to them at all.
You are misleading customers and you are also lying about what happened.
You can ask me as many "are you ok's?" as you want in order to undermine my testimony, but it still stands.
[I also believe a couple of your reviews on here are fake or asked for from people in the company or people you know - not based on a genuine experience with you - as per someone named Richard with 35 reviews who has repeatedly reviewed the same brands / companies.]
