The workshop was a great experience, I really liked it. I was able to get an insight of what modelling is really like and learned how to catwalk with confidence, overall it was really helpful, especially for someone like me with no experience. Shanon Devere being our model booker has been so beneficial. Ever since she’s started, she has made sure to give us so many opportunities that are open to everyone. She also gave us great advice that could help us long term, and im pretty sure many other models could agree how great she has been, so im grateful to her for the opportunities and hope they keep coming.

Very friendly staff and photoshoot was efficient, I also like the location as it has rooms suitable for each activity needed in order to be a model.

The photo shoot was good told me all the right poses, photographer made me feel comfortable to take all the pictures

For the most part it was a good experience as it is a very clean studio, I would advise to fully know what you want so you can assess if they are the fit for you. Nevertheless, a good experience as they were polite and respectful.

The people behind this "agency" are very intelligent. The initial emails are hostile claiming things like if you don't abide by their rules you will be blacklisted as an unreliable model. The coercive language is quite apparent. As you can see most of these good reviews are about the place being tidy and the staff being agreeable. Nothing about getting jobs and the proof of them.

I had been scammed in the past so I was very reluctant to give it a chance. However, the emails convinced me as they explained the red flags "other fake talent agencies" commit on the daily. Also, the fact that there was no payment upfront. The first bit should have alerted me because a legitimate business has no need in convincing and comparing in depth about other fake business.

When I got there, a photographer asked me what package I was looking for, and another lady hushed him saying this was about an interview/modelling assessment. There were signs on the walls saying "Don't speak to other interviewees". And another man before he left told me "not to give these people too much money, because they will ask for it". Also, the whole environment seemed fake. The initial so-called "free photoshoot" was less than 5 minutes with barely any direction from the photographer which made no sense initially.

They kept me waiting quite a bit when there was nobody else there. I imagine this was a psychological tactic. And then 2 men asked a very speedy line of questioning about my knowledge of higher brands, punctuality, and other things. Whether I was taking this seriously or not. etc. Another tactic. Upon reflecting afterwards I realised how unnecessarily stressful this is made to be.
They were of course, charming. And this always helps with persuasion.

They even have a "runway" from which you walk in heels. All of it seems very convincing if you've never experienced something like it before.

I showed no knowledge of higher fashion or any skill in catwalking, however, they didn't turn me down.

They offered me 3 packages, one that's around 150 in which you're basically on your own. Obviously not desirable. a 500 quid one, and a 1000 one, which is obviously the most desirable, and the one you are basically convinced to get if you have any sense.

I was adamant from the beginning that I only had 50 quid to leave as a deposit, and chose the 1000 package but said I would need a few months to pay it. It was no problem for them. Before the actual photoshoot, they got me to pay the 50 quid of course. I even signed a "contract".

I left thinking that this didn't seem right. The whole thing was a whirlwind. But I decided to give them a chance, to see if they would send me the photographs or some of them at least, and send me jobs while I gather the money for the package. However, it has been almost 2 months and I have heard nothing from them.

Good luck to you, I hope you are wiser than I was. I am left upset not because of the 50 quid I lost, but because of the manipulation and deception these people are continuously getting away with.

Scam.

Okay I am going to be very honest and transparent with everyone here. In short, this agency, and all the reviews here are a SCAM and are fake.

First of all, they offer you an interview and tell you that if you are unsuccessful they will refund you your travel no matter where in the UK you are from. They offer you free images which they say are professionally edited in milian (Which is a lie as you will see in my next line). After you get past the interview stage they offer you a contract (they offer everyone one, partly to avoid the topic of refunding travel maybe) They offer you various packages for your portfolio ranging from £100 to £800. Oh did I mention they tell you the money is refunded after 12 months? It is a security deposit so they say.

Moving onto the photoshoot.

Well, this is a photoshoot done with one set of clothes. They email you a link but BEFORE you get your photos, you must leave 3 reviews- 2 on trust pilot by 2 different people. Once they verify that then you get your images- which you know you have to give them 5 stars and talk positive only, as thy won’t release the images. Now getting the images, in their inital email they state its professionally edited, but the images are raw. Dark and poorly lit, but they state that the images are best to be natural and unfiltered. So they give you a very awful photoshoot, but they hold onto your images with the bases of reviews.
They sell you fake dreams on how they work with this brand and that brand, But its a ploy on young budding models.

I have reported this further.

I had a disappointing experience with Eclipse Modelling Agency. Their approach felt more like a money-making scheme than a legitimate agency. The pressure to pay for expensive photo and video packages to supposedly increase my visibility seemed dubious. It's unsettling that they prioritise payment over talent, contrary to reputable agencies that invest in their models regardless of upfront fees. Furthermore, none of my friends in the industry have encountered agencies asking for money upfront. Despite paying a deposit last year, I haven't received any job offers, making it clear that Eclipse doesn't deliver on their promises. Despite their claims of being regulated and approved by government agencies, a closer look reveals a different story. Upon further investigation, it became evident that the company has undergone name changes, raising suspicions about their legitimacy. This lack of transparency undermines any trust in their credibility. It's unsettling to realise that they manipulate the narrative to appear reputable while engaging in shady practices. Sadly, the old adage holds true: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I am a former scam victim of Your Model Management and I've made it very clear on my review that they are scammers and should be named and shamed.

I have read this companies responses to the other bad reviews on this page and claimed that YUMM is a different company that just so happens to be in the same building 1 floor above them, even if that's true how an earth can you justify sharing a building with a company with multiple court judgments against them and is widely perceived as a bunch of scam artists. It makes absolutely no sense and it just paints them as scam artists even more.

Also a quick search on the gov.uk website will show that this business was dissolved in 2014.

A huge note to anyone looking to get into modelling, an agency will only make there money by taking a commission from the earnings that Model makes

I'm glad enough people are finally wising up to this bunch we just need to stop more people being taken advantage of

They called me for an interview and didn't explain me about salary or commission
I walked 0.8 mile then took a bus travelled for 1 hour then walked 0.6 mile and they just said we cannot offer salary .
You just did work on commission based salary.
They just wasted my day my time and my money .
