I went in with a lack of experience(it was my first time having a photoshoot)
I showed confidence in my photo's but once it was time for the interview, the man who interviewed me wasn't very supportive but pushy and rude. I read the email which stated the payment to only be made once accepted and as i didn't have the money and thought i'd be accepted a different day, I was told to pay on the spot for 'not reading the email'. I have dyslexia and ADHD so remembering the email from word to word is not my strongest point.

I am 17 and brought someone who was 18 to support me as my mum had to take care of the kids while my stepdad and older sister were working, so family couldn't come. I was told to list words out which due to being on the spot with a harsh person, it was not very easy to do. And only 10 minutes after entering the building, I left without getting the chance to explain my situation.

I had a great experience having a photoshoot through Eclipse Model Management. I was made to feel comfortable and the photographer was patience and professional.

Applied believing they were a ‘real’ agency. It clearly stated on the email they sent me that everything they do was free but after seeing some reviews on here that they paid for a deposit‘ I rung in to find out more before submitting the form they sent.

The man I spoke to was immediately stand offish and rude. Was very pushy and trying to force me to tell him what agencies I was already signed with as they are legit international agencies, I refused to disclose as he wasn’t answering any of my questions.

I asked out right if they expect models to pay any model to and amongst his ‘fluffy’ words he essentially said yes, you pay a ‘deposit’ which is apparently refundable. However if you are experience and have your own photos you might not have to pay.

Everyone this is NOT a modelling agency, they WILL NOT get you jobs. You are paying for them to create a ‘portfolio’ and an expensive one at that, and doubt it will be professional. You can get a portfolio done with creditable photographers, usually starting at £200, not £1000!

Real agencies will NEVER ask for any money from you. I’ve been a model for some years now and real agencies will never expect you to pay a dime. STAY CLEAR.

There’s other agencies out there if you want an agency to help and support you into the industry, look for ones that take no fees or ‘deposit’ and get their money directly from the clients.

They use ‘government regulated’ as a way to gain your trust, this is not a thing in the modeling world unfortunately. This is a 💩 wrapped in sparkles, but you’ll soon realise they will make you feel like a 💩.

There responses to negative reviews will show you their ‘professionalism’.

First of all I would like thank Eclipse modelling agenacy for their time and the coaching techniques that were used during my photo shoot. The eclipse team members were professional and very polite. And the photographer was a star.

They Are A Scam!!!

All the good reviews on this site are paid for and they tell you to leave a good review before they give you the free photos. I have reported them to the authorities and they will be served within the week. The guy who interviews you is very hostile and unprofessional.

People should come out and report them to the authorities as I did.

Don’t fall for this- no agency should be asking you for money before getting you a job. They should run on commission not “security deposits”. I realised too late and the only way to get my free photos (that weren’t really free because I had to travel across the country) were to leave fake positive reviews. Don’t trust the reviews you see on here

SCAM!!! Do not sign with them.

Very unprofessional, terrible communication, awful experience. I am an experienced commercial model who was looking for work. I went to the interview and test shoot and was then made to pay for representation. This is not at all industry standard... no real agency will get you to pay anything up front. I did not get any help from them RE communicating how my applications were going, I barely heard from them at all over the next few months. 6 months go by and absolutely no jobs, no support, a true lack of care when it comes to looking after their 'models'. Every phone call I made was met with the same begrudging answer, "we cant guarantee work" "we cant do any more to help you find work... unless you PAY more money, £250, £500, £1000 to upgrade to a higher model tier"... absolute rubbish. I was taken aback by how rude they were and how alone I felt. Truly terrible experience. I am thankfully no longer entangled in this scam and I would very much recommend any aspiring young model to NOT sign with this agency.
I wrote a scathing trust pilot review a few months ago, they insisted I take it down and said they would change their communication and help me get some work. Absolutely nothing changed... embarrassing!
If you want proof, please just scroll down and read all the other 1 star reviews, they all state the same thing...
So, please do yourself a favour and DO NOT sign with them. Thanks.

Quite a bit unprofessional, and photos were not edited properly. I don’t recommend people going there.

I would like to thank Eclipse model management to provide me an entry level experience to understand how it has been done in a professional environment that welcomes the idea of every aspiring model's. I had a warm welcome from the people and that energise my confidence to appear for my photoshoot, such an overwhelming and friendly people who impress every single minute to make me comfortable. Having said that, the photographer was so genuinely understand me and gave space to pose the photoshoot and which had been unsurpassed. Once again thank you for considering me and putting an effort for this wonderful gathering.

I had an opportunity to be part of honey Singh music video which was shoot in London recently. Thank you Shannon for getting me all the good work. Although it took me a very long time to get booked, I hope to get more work in the future.

Everything was well organised and well informed about the procedure in adv. The shoot was very comfortable and helpful I was Happy to meet you all.

It was a great experience with the team and able to share my knowledge with them.And hope I will get more experience potentially.

Working with this agency has really been a game changer for my career they are genuinely invested and care about me on my modelling journey.
I’m very satisfied and do recommend this agency.

This is me responding to the response from Eclipse model management because I can’t respond to the comments they made under my original rating….

Eclipse if you spent as much time scouring through negative reviews to leave a comment justifying your poor performance as a modelling agency as you did finding your models actual work you wouldn’t be receiving all of the negative feedback your company gets. Everything I was told in the interview has been a well said lie, The person who supposed to be managing Me has done nothing to manage me once and has found me no work. Thanks Eclipe but I think I’ll keep my identity private because you are an untrustworthy company and would more then likely take action against my review or try and black list me.

You say you have a good return policy system but your return policy system is just a bunch of screenshots on your website nothing that looks legitimate, depending on how much you pay the deposit you’re supposed to be receiving different things and different package levels this I know from experience is lies. You could pay for the top package or the bottom package and still receive the same overall experience all you get is photos and put on the site and that’s it That’s why I know this company is nothing but fraudulent.

Also, you can say the company doesn’t rely on signups paying but why do you put so much effort into your Instagram adverts, every single person in the comment section is told to come in for a free shoot which isn’t even a free shoot, your market it as a free shoot 😂😂 joke of a modelling agency your social media accounts are joke worthy, genuinely a pathetic excuse for an agency.
If I was whoever is responding for eclipse, I wouldn’t say s**t because if you do, I’ll just write another response exposing more of your terrible practices.

The photoshoot was a success, the team behaved professionally and made the whole experience enjoyable. The shooter was very friendly and made me the shooting more personal I’d definitely use them for future work.

Said they were government regulated which is very important for my peace of mind. Contacted the government and they confirmed it so I’m content and happy.

The shoot was great , the staff was very kind and very welcoming on the other hand I enjoyed the shoot and I would do it again with no problems, they made me feel very comfortable with my tasks too on how to stand and things .

Overall , great service and will be going back
