Fantastic experience from start to finish

Everything about the experience was first class, from initial design, through purchase and installation. The two engineers who installed the bathroom were excellent, courteous, kept site clean and fitted everything to a top standard. Well done Easy bathrooms.
One small problem is that the rubbish hasn't been collected yet.

Design success

We loved the design and the variety of options available to see in the shop. The design process was very straight forward. The only aspect that was not considered was where existing pipe work was and which way the joist ran so the design was more complicated to install than it needed to be,

Bathroom

Really happy with the design of my new bathroom. Ben and zaiya did a brilliant job. They are super friendly and gave me some great ideas and help my vision come to life. I would highly recommend

New bathroom

Everything started well, until it came to after sales we had a damaged part, a new part was ordered but when it came it was the wrong part, so we decided to keep the original part but asked for a discount, the manager said he couldn't do this it had to be through head office, so I asked for the number, he gave me the wrong number, I was transferred to the right person who was very helpful and arranged a discount.
When our fitter started to fit the shower cubicle he found a part was missing, so I went back to the Poole store the manager told me was extra and phoned the tech department to check, he was very apologetic to the tech department for ringing them, but unfortunately not to me when he told me it was extra and would be £89.00 on top of the £915.00 I'd already paid for the cubicle, I asked if it was needed, he didn't know so had to ring the tech department again to check, it was again no apology to me only the tech department, at no time was I told this was extra when I purchased the cubicle, he then told me it is what it is but then corrected himself realising what he'd said. I complained to head office who were very apologetic. If you use this company double check for hidden extras that they don't include for you to fit the item

Damaged Item & Shocking Customer Service

Be very careful ordering from Easy Bathrooms.

I opened an item I’d ordered a couple of months earlier and discovered it was damaged inside the packaging. The damage was not visible at delivery. Instead of taking responsibility, Easy Bathrooms hid behind their own arbitrary time limits and refused a refund or replacement.

They repeatedly quoted a 48-hour inspection rule and a 30-day return window, even though their own terms say packaging and products must be inspected — which would require opening everything immediately. If you don’t open and fully inspect your bathroom items the moment they arrive (even if you don’t need them yet), you’re apparently on your own.

Despite UK consumer law requiring goods to be of satisfactory quality, Easy Bathrooms simply refused to engage meaningfully and claimed they couldn’t determine whether the damage was theirs — even though the item had never been used. Their final response was basically “pay again,” offering a discount to replace something that arrived damaged in the first place.

This experience has made it very clear: once they have your money, they are not interested in helping you. If anything goes wrong outside their narrow internal deadlines, expect excuses, deflection, and zero accountability.

I would strongly advise anyone considering Easy Bathrooms to think twice. If you want a retailer that stands behind their products and treats customers fairly, this is not it.

Good products, complicated process, and a dream that sadly fell apart.

After 14 years of saving, my wife and I were finally ready to build our dream bathroom. We don’t take purchases like this lightly — the bathroom was top of our list as a family who loves long baths, and Easy Bathrooms & Tiles had been on our shortlist for a while. In August, we committed.

🏁 The Start – Hope, excitement, confidence

9th August — first visit, collected a brochure, browsed.
17th August — met Alex, finalised our choices:

✔ 12-jet whirlpool bath
✔ Rainfall shower
✔ Bathroom-grade TV
✔ Furniture and fittings

Their “Installed by Christmas” promotion sealed the deal.
We placed a 25% deposit (~£3,500) expecting a smooth process.

Order updated 29th Aug, and again 14th Sept when we received the design paperwork. At purchase, we were told a Project Manager would contact us within ~4 weeks — which seemed reasonable.

🕒 Then, the silence.

Weeks passed without contact. We chased and were told it wouldn’t be long — but weeks became months, and uncertainties grew.

Family, tradesmen and even Citizens Advice suggested I needed to push harder. I listened, and in hindsight, I wish I hadn’t.

Eventually Bruce visited us (on a Sunday, to his credit).
He told us Christmas installation wasn’t realistic, which in hindsight is understandable — the visit and scheduling had already slipped later than expected.

We also asked about fitting a water softener; he agreed to speak to his plumbing team.

📉 Communication issues & conflicting details

After that, updates became inconsistent.
Eventually we were given:

📅 Installation date — 19th January

Unsure what to do, we sought advice — and were told to escalate. My first review was written under that guidance, and it worsened things rather than helping.

Wanting to fix it properly, I contacted Easy Bathrooms myself.
A manager, David, listened, understood, and genuinely helped.
He even added the inline water softener as a goodwill gesture — something I appreciated more than the gesture itself.

For transparency:

I considered removing or amending my review then, but again was advised to wait until everything was fully completed, not just promised. With hindsight, I regret that. My gut would have chosen differently.

For a moment, things felt hopeful again.

🔨 Then everything unravelled

We were later notified that three pallets of bathroom materials would need storing in our home two weeks before installation. We simply don’t have that space, and the advertising had suggested delivery is staged as required — so this setback brought frustration back into the picture.

We went in store to discuss it, emails were exchanged, and my earlier review was noticed.

Shortly after, we received the call:

“We don’t want your business.
If you’re this difficult now, imagine after installation.”

And just like that, the order was cancelled.
Fourteen years of saving — gone in one conversation.

I was stunned, embarrassed, and deeply sad.
A dream we had built our hopes around simply vanished.

📌 Final Thoughts — Fair, balanced, honest

Product Range:
Excellent — possibly unmatched locally. We’ve looked elsewhere since, and nothing compares.

Showroom Service:
Friendly, but often understaffed.
I genuinely believe having bookable appointment-based staff would help — customers could secure time without waiting or feeling forgotten.

Process & Communication:
Our biggest struggle — long gaps, unclear timelines, things slipping through cracks.

Installation Promises:
Treat seasonal promotion claims as aspirational, not guaranteed.

My final score: ★★★☆☆ (3/5)

I’m genuinely heartbroken that things ended this way. Our dream bathroom was right there in front of us, and now it isn’t — and given the product range elsewhere, I feel like our dream may be gone for good.

I apologise for my initial review and how it contributed to the breakdown.
This version is calmer, clearer, and honest — shaped by hindsight, not emotion.

To anyone reading, please take my experience as insight, not instruction.
Make your own decision — Easy Bathrooms may be perfect for you.
It just didn’t work out for us, and that hurts more than I expected.

This is my true review — revised, reflective, and sincere.

The tiles were gorgeous

The tiles were gorgeous. My bad review is because they charged me £20 to collect my tiles. Delivery was £70 something. The guys in the shop told me that i would need 3 boxes. I didn’t need 3 boxes. So tried to return 2 boxes. Over £100 worth of tiles. But they refused to take returns. Even if unopened. I would not buy from them again!

Real products in a real showroom setting

It’s great to see so many products in a real showroom setting. I bought three mirrors and all arrived on time and as expected. The first one has been unwrapped and installed and looks great. Hopefully the other two will be installed in the next two weeks.
