We are sorry to see your rating and read your review. We understand that there may have been a miscommunication regarding your initial enquiry.
Since then you have purchased a mobility scooter from East Coast Mobility.
We spoke to you in early March to gain your approval to complete repairs to your scooter under your insurance. These repairs were completed in late March. Over the last two months we have been trying to contact you via phone and mail to arrange the return of your mobility scooter.

Stair lift

I suffer with arthritis in both knees…
I suffer with arthritis in both knees and back and now find climbing the stairs very painful and nearly impossible.Our stairs are very narrow and would not accommodate a regular stair lift.I had a bespoke one made in holland,it was expensive but what a godsend.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AND SCOOTERPAC
I recently purchased a very costly mobility scooter to be met with a whole host of problems and despite 3 months of communications i am still left with faulty goods, the Managing director told me to "just walk" when i asked how i would get around without it, this company have stolen every bit of confidence and independence I have clawed back since becoming disabled. I would recommend you spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
I had my phone number blocked by the manager of east coat mobility for reporting too many problems. I was told to walk by the md of scooterpac. And have been left without transport for 2 weeks after your “loan” scooter was collected before mine was fixed.
Neither issue was fixed and 2.5 years on the scooter still leaks. I tried to book it in for a service with you twice with 8 weeks notice before each appointment and neither time you showed up to collect it with no prior warning until I called the morning of to find out a time window for collection so I could make sure I was at home and the second time you said you will not be working on it or collecting it for any service or further works so I’m left with a very expensive faulty product with no way of getting it fixed or maintained. Very disappointing.

As you are aware we worked with the manufacturer on this, and they visited you on several occasions. Our understanding is that the two issues you had soon after delivery were both fixed by the manufacturer. You were lent a scooter when yours was in for repair, and you even had taxi fares paid for you. You were certainly never ‘told to walk’ or left without means of transport. We love our customers, and will go to any lengths to ensure that they are well cared for, happy and mobile. If there is anything else you need from us, then please ring us and we will gladly help.

I've been a customer for nearly 2 years…
I've been a customer for nearly 2 years now. When my health got worse, I had to downgrade from my beloved cabin car back to a mobility scooter. I finally have the freedom to go out and about now and I'm able to my children out safely. I finally have my legs back and not house bound anymore. I found the exchange to be very simply and totally stress free. Thank you so much East Coast Mobility.
