Irresponsible Drivers

The drivers believe it's appropriate to skip traffic by cutting down the opposite flowing lane with their hazards on and no blue lights. I would sort of understand it if they needed to turn off into an unblocked road but they just joined back into the same queue. Dangerous behaviour especially considering they had to approach a blind turning. Vehicle registration is YJ19HHT I believe. Spotted in Salisbury at 08:10-ish 04/02/26

TODAY I TRIED TO BOOK TRANSPORT FOR A HOSPITAL APPOINTMENT AND WAS GIVEN A BARRAGE OF QUESTOINS I HAVE QUITE A FEW MEDICAL ISSUES MY MAIN IS RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS AND HAVE SEVERE MOTABILTY ISSUES AND HAVE A MOTABILITY CAR WHO MY CARER HAS TO DRIVE FOR ME AND SHE IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO PUSH ME ABOUT IT A WHEELCHAIR THEY REFUSED TO TAKE ME TO MY HOSPITAL APPOINTMENT I AM DISGUSTED WITH THERE RESPONCE ALL THEY WERE INTERESTED IN WAS FOR ME TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO TAKE ME TO HOSPITAL SO I HAVE HAD TO CANCEL ALL MY HOSPITAL APPOINTMENTS THEY WANT THE CONTRACTS AND THE MONEY BUT THEY DONT WANT THE WORK AND WHEN YOU PHONE THEM THEY SAY THEY ARE HERE TO HELP WELL IF THATS HELPING THEY SHOULD GIVE UP

Superb service

Two teams where required to bring my very ill wife from the upstairs bedroom to a 'hospital type' bed in the lounge.
My wife was dreading the move, they were brilliant, can't thank them enough.

First class service

Well I'm so glad I didn't take notice of all these negative reviews. My experience today with EMED (formerly E-zec) was first class.
I was exceptionally well looked after today by Lydia and her colleague. They were kind and courteous, they got me to my hospital appointment on time and arrived on time to collect me and safely deliver me back home. I couldn't have asked for more ! It made my dreaded hospital experience so much better than I expected. I am now looking forward to my next hospital appointment and travelling with EMED again. These guys deserve 5*s.
How lucky are we to have such a service, thank you EMED!

Big time stress producer

As with other complainants, I wish I could leave zero stars. Patients have to have certain difficulties or they would not be allowed to book the transport. The Company don't seem to appreciate this. I have had two previous unfortunate experiences with z-tec, but will just advise of Friday's (12th July 2024). So you have to be ready 2 hours in advance. Fair enough. My hospital appointment was at 2.00 pm. I settled myself in my hall, sitting on my rollator so as to be able to answer the intercom promptly. By 1.30 no transport had arrived. I 'phoned. Was told my vehicle was currently at the hospital (Ipswich) unloading. I said well, you'll never get me there for 2. Responder said he would 'phone physiotherapy and get my appointment "put back", then 'phone me again. I gave it a reasonable amount of time, but no call. Stress levels mounting considerably at this point. I 'phoned Physio myself. They said they had had a call from transport, but they work strictly to appointment times and they would have to re-make the appointment. They said they would put it was a transport problem on my notes because you get a black mark for not turning up. I then 'phoned transport again, (same chap) and this time was told the delay was due to roadworks. The chap sounded quite shocked that I had 'phoned the hospital myself. I said they must have known about the roadworks and should have taken it into account. He said it was an "oversight" on their part. Too right. I feel much empathy for the poor souls out there who are not able to fight their own corner. I am not sure how I will get to hospital on Tuesday 16th July yet, but it sure as hell won't be via z-tec. I doubt there's much to be gained by complaining, but I feel better for getting it off my chest. They don't seem to respond to Trust Pilot. They obviously do not have the resources to provide the service and innocent people are suffering. Good luck with your experience. Maybe it will be alright for you. Brilliant idea in theory.

Shockingly bad service

Shockingly bad service. You wait 2 hrs before appointment time only to find after chasing up that the crew are at lunch and will approximately collects you 30 mins later so you're late for your appointment plus another person needs picking up. It's gone to the dogs since being taken over No I'm sorry and it caused a lot of stress. 😡

EMED ambulance driving towards me on my…

EMED ambulance driving towards me on my side of the road, I flashed my lights at ambulance and he stuck his middle finger up at me.

I’m horrified, I work in the community myself and never would I show such unprofessional behaviour.

Incident long lane, Gorleston at 8.15. EMED you may want to rethink your drivers.

Poor drivers

I had an encounter with a driver from E-zec where he refused to allow traffic to merge in turn, instead driving a matter of inches off the bumper from the car in front. I reported this to E-zec but had no response, they obviously do not care about the safety of people in their vehicles.

I would worry about the safety of anyone travelling with them.

Fantastic crew

Fantastic crew. Looked after my dad from home and took him to his hospital appointment - right to the department. The collected him from the clinic.
Very attentive, wonderful service. Caring crew.
The transport booking reference was 7880354 appointment time 14:00 to Southmead Hospital,

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Two young girls bringing my husband back from dialysis I told them “you need a wheelchair” to be told “he said he can walk” my husband can barely walk he’s has dementia and there’s a massive wheelchair lift outside my property that should give the staff a bit of a hint! After eventually banging the ambulance wheelchair out they bought him in catching his foot against door frame and telling me I’m a very rude person. Never met such uncaring inpatient medically trained staff who obviously have no experience with older disabled people. We have used hospital transport for years and yes 9/10 staff are very polite and caring but these two utterly disgusting. Suze and Lucy.

Wheelchair patient

Wheelchair patient. I was picked up from home at 11.45 am for a 1pm appointment for post on physio. I then waited from
2pm to be picked up after post op physio. I finally arrived home at 7 pm in pain after sitting for 5 hours and 15 minutes in a chair. I am 18 days post op. With limited mobility issues.

Smooth, efficient and caring

E-ZEC were very good at transporting my Mum to the RUH Bath yesterday. The ambulance was on time and we received a confirmation call to say they were 15 minutes away. The crew (Kayleigh and Coll) were efficient, professional and caring and returned her to gently to her bed. Thank you.

Joke company ‼️

This is some joke with this company, I ordered transport for my son and I was supposed to be ready at 6:30, at 5 we woke up, my son is terminally ill in a wheelchair, we got ready quickly and transport late 3 hours and we couldn't come for apoitment
the second time after meeting with the doctor we waited 3 hours to get back to home, they did not inform us about it at the time of ordering, I absolutely do not recommend it, you will waste the whole day, it is better to take a taxi, seriously‼️

Would be no stars if possible.
Despite being told they would need a hoist to move my father, they turned up without one and then said they weren't even trained to use one! Were unable to get him into the home (no surprise, they needed a hoist!)
Incredibly rude to my very distressed mother who wanted my father back in the home. The conversation with the crew was overheard by people on the other end of the phone to my mum, and they commented how rude the crew were!
Drove off without even letting mum know they were going. This was left to the carers to do. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Well, for the first time in a long while my mum was very happy with her experience with this company probably due to the lovely ambulance drivers Zoe and Grace. Lovely girls and professional. Great drivers too. Our trip to London went without a hitch.

I booked transport on Wednesday for transport today (sat) to take my mum to the xray department before her diyalsis at 1pm I was assured it was all booked, what a surprise today they didn't turn up to collect her so I phone and they say they are at her address now, they didn't even know about her xray appointment so she won't be going to that today then. What a complete joke ezec are. What is the point of saying be ready for 2 hours before when you never turn up on time anyway.

Cancelled transport without informing me

I booked transport home from the hospital after an operation because it's three hours and a mile walk. I've been advised not to walk.

I cannot get family to give me a lift as they are on holiday.

I phoned them after I booked it to change the pick up details, but they had cancelled it, saying I wasn't eligible as I was mobile. They hadn't told me.

I explained the situation and they agreed I was eligible and rebooked it.

I'm now at the hospital on a Sunday when public transport is limited and they told me they cancelled the booking. Again they didn't tell me.

I'm now stranded here as I cannot afford the taxi fare home.

This treatment of patients is unacceptable.

Vehicle FJ22 FYA

Vehicle FJ22 FYA. This vehicle a large van like machine with Ambulance decals, No blues was travelling at the rear of my Ford Transit. I am regulated to 60 mph on a dual carriageway, this driver was close enough to my rear bumper that should I need to brake in an emergency he would not be able to stop quick enough. This didn't bother me that much but when he began flashing his headlights, it became a different game. Surely if he was travelling to an emergency he would have Blues on?
I was travelling at 62mph and overtaking slower vehicles in Lane 1. By my own admission I was speeding!
The lanes then bottle necked and I watched as he pushed himself to through the 880/600/400/200 yard markers before having to push his way in before the cones would wedge him in.
I sincerely hope there were no patients in the rear of his vehicle! But at least your company isn't entrusted with emergency patients, only the elderly and infirm that it appears your workers abuse.
I hope that I never get offered your services, as I think I'd rather catch a bus than risk it with you.
Will a Manager have the front to reply to this, even reprimand the driver, probably not. It seems that is what your company is.
