Dukes Tutoring Anmeldelser

My daughter had an academic assessment with JK Educate and all the process from the initial inquiry till the feedback meeting and report was handled in a professional manner.

We entrusted JK with our child’s GCSE preparation for two years, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Transitioning from a different country made it challenging to adjust to the new syllabus initially, but JK made everything simple and stress-free. The tutors were excellent—knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly understanding. JK consistently checked in with us to monitor our child’s progress, which made us feel supported throughout the journey. We’ve just received the GCSE results, and our child has truly excelled. We are immensely grateful to JK for their exceptional support and guidance. Thank you!

So incredibly impressed from start to finish with the staff and service we have received with JK Educate. Katie is an exceptional leader in education and genuinely cares about children and their welfare. The Assessment we took was with Susannah, who was engaging and patient with our son who has ADHD and the informative feedback at the end was clear and un-rushed. We will 100% be using JK Educate and their services again in the near future and would recommend without hesitation. Many thanks Katie and team. We are so glad to have found you and your services!

My experience as a tutor for JK Educate over the past year has been amazing, especially transitioning from nearly a decade as a full-time classroom teacher. The professionalism from the team, in supporting new recruits and managing students and parents alike, has been second to none. The individual monitoring managers have been professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful in answering any questions I have regarding students, assessments, resources, and information. Jackie has been my personal s-hero, helping me become not only a successful online maths tutor but also a happy one.

JK helped my son prepare for the 11 plus from May in Y5. Tania and Debbie were both fantastic, my son really enjoyed the sessions and, despite having previously worked with another tutor, the difference they made to his work was very marked. We started the process not knowing whether he would get any offers at all, but went into the exams feeling confident that he had had the best possible preparation, and he ended up with a choice of top schools. I appreciated the regular feedback and could always contact Tania and Debbie if I had any additional questions or concerns, with quick responses. The remote sessions were also super convenient for me :-)

We used JK for our child’s 11+ preparation for 18 months and were highly impressed. The level of teaching was extremely high both in terms of delivering the precise content required for the 11+ and also keeping the child engaged throughout with fun varied lessons. It was also very reassuring knowing the depth of knowledge JK possessed about the whole 11+ process. They were able to tailor the teaching to specific school entrance exams and advise on the nuances between certain schools. This was a great help to us as parents embarking on the process for the first time. Would highly recommend JK to anyone.

Support from JK Educate has made my son's 11+ journey easy and successful! Tania helped my son with English for one year and he was accepted to top UK schools with academic scholarships from three schools. This included academic scholarship offer from my son's first choice school, which one year ago, I would not even have dreamt of. I am grateful for Tania's professional support! Throughout the 11+ journey with JK Educate, we benefitted greatly from the mock exams, interview preparations, and the plethora of resources provided. Tania was very professional; she provided detailed feedback on my son's strengths and weaknesses after every lesson, she was super punctual and responsive, and she was very patient even at times when my son had his slumps. Tania's interview preparation session was super helpful as well. I had tried helping my son with interview preparations for at least 3 months prior to Tania's interview preparation and honestly, I would say my son learned more from Tania's 1.5 hours of interview preparation session than the hours of interview practices with me. Tania was very experienced, asked the right questions, and gave great tips. Overall, my son and I both have benefitted greatly from the support provided by Tania and JK Educate. I would highly recommend JK Educate to those who are looking for professional support for a successful 11+ journey. Thank you!

JK Educate smoothly and courteously arranged exactly the right tutors for our child - expert, attentive and so helpful in all subjects. A great service!

We used JK Educate for over a year to prepare our son for 11+ exams. I found them to be very professional, caring and great at communication, whether it was about our son's progress or anything else. The tutor got to know our son really well and connected with him very quickly, which made the tutoring sessions very pleasant for him and us, as his parents. We also booked the interview preparation session. To be honest, I was not sure it was going to be worth booking and was completely wrong. I attended the session with our son and found it incredibly informative and am in much stronger position to help him to prepare for his interviews. The best feedback I can provide about our experience with JK Educate is the fact that we have booked them to prepare our younger son for his 11+ exams as soon as they finished the prep with our older son. Thank you for all your work.

If you are seeking a fantastic company to tutor for and with, you can’t do better than JK. It’s that simple. Don’t hesitate - they will look after you, listen and support you and provide you with guidance and a plethora of resources when you need it. Their expertise are broad and deep, they are professionals and they’ll pair you with fantastic families too. Go for it!

The Creative Comprehension workshops were incredibly helpful for my daughter and, more importantly, she really enjoyed them. Tania brought the activity to life by making it extremely engaging. She was patient and took time to help my 10 year-old to reflect on the skills that she had learnt. Thank you.

my daughter enjoys a lot the math tutoring with Jacob and the results are fabulous, she has achieved the maximum grade in Math GCSC!

JK Educate has supported my daughter through every stage of her successful Oxbridge application, finding the right person at the right time for her at each point.

She received guidance and feedback on her Personal Statement, and an invaluable mock interview which helped her to approach the real one with confidence and enthusiasm.

She was having a difficult time at school for a number of reasons, and targeted expert tuition supported her through this. She is very able but post-Covid appeared to be heading for a car-crash. With the reassuring support of her tutor she got back on track in time.

I am enormously grateful to JK Educate not only for the expertise of their tutors, but also for Katie's astute judgement in understanding what was needed and selecting the right people to help.

We decided to schedule a JK Assessment for our 7 year old daughter.

She had a wonderful experience with Kara during the assessment, she was very well looked after and our daughter told us that she had a lot of fun during the process, this was a very positive experience for her and she was made to feel very comfortable and at ease.

The results meeting was scheduled very easily with Tania on Microsoft Teams one week later. We were able to discuss in detail the results of the tests and Tania assisted on answering all of our questions with knowledge and honesty - we gained really valuable information and provided with clear next steps and actions to support our daughter's education and learning.

Overall this was a very positive and well managed process and I would absolutely recommend.

Thank you to the JK team.

JK Educate supported us throughout the entire 11+ journey from the initial assessment until the interviews. My daughter was very happy with her tutors and we were all extremely satisfied with the result. Behind every tutor, there is an entire hardworking team and they have all been fantastic. JK Educate always listened to us and took onboard our feedback seriously. Thank you JK Educate!

Both our daughters have had very positive experiences with JK Educate. Tutors worked patiently, and expertly, with them in relatively short run-ups to 11+ exams, and both girls received excellent secondary school offers. I particularly valued Tania’s gauging of my second daughter’s working style and personality, and her efforts to work with those rather than in spite of them!

JK is expensive but definitely worth it.

We used the services of JK Educate for English Tuition and Interview Prep for the 11+ secondary school exams. Tania was an extremely kind, patient and deeply knowledgable teacher. Our son was prepared extremely well through the process and enjoyed his lessons. We would highly recommend JK Educate to anyone looking to apply to the top schools in the UK.

JK Educate supported our child through an initial assessment in Year 4 to tutoring and preparation for the 11+ exam. We found their advice useful and the teaching was perfect for getting our child through the process. We ended up getting the results that we wanted and couldn’t have done it without the support from JK Educate. Highly recommended

Being new to the UK education system we needed guidance to understand and navigate the complexities of 11+. JK educate came highly recommended by a colleague and we started with an assessment which gave us positive signals on potential outcome for our son. Tania was with us from day one, upfront in managing expectations and supporting us through hurdles, setbacks and final success. We agreed on the spirit of the journey to be focused on resilience and self discovery and we all learnt an incredible amount. The quality of education provided by Tania and Yasmin was exceptional, as much as the care they showed towards our son.

JK Educate were initially recommended to me for the purpose of carrying out an 11+ assessment for my 8 year old son. I was extremely impressed with the quality of their service and my son therefore remained under Tania’s careful guidance until successful completion of the 11+. JK set themselves apart with their impeccable professionalism. Tania and Jacob delivered tailored lessons with enthusiasm, patience and empathy. The feedback and support provided throughout was absolutely excellent. I am so grateful for all their involvement and really cannot recommend them highly enough.
