Paid application: communication concerns and awaiting dispatch
UPDATE 14 October 2026: The company has now responded and confirmed that my documents have been collected. I am still awaiting the full scans and courier dispatch.
I paid AED 750 on 21 September 2026 for a South African driving licence confirmation letter and uploaded the required documents, including my passport. The confirmation stated “Please allow 9–14 business days” and said I would receive a scanned copy and DHL tracking details once the document was ready. I chose this paid service because I needed the letter urgently.
I emailed for an update on 6 October and also followed up through the website and Facebook. After several days without a response, I published a negative review. I then received an email reply on 12 October saying my document was expected in a collection batch that week.
On 13 October, the company emailed demanding removal of my reviews and referring to possible legal action. Later that day, it confirmed that my documents were ready and had been collected, but stated that they were “on hold internally” and that full scans would not be sent and the documents would not be couriered until I responded to the earlier email.
I replied on 14 October confirming that I wanted the documents sent, rather than cancellation or a refund. At the time of this update, I have not received the full scans or DHL tracking details.
My earlier wording reflected my concern about the lack of communication. I have replaced it with this account of my experience. I am not alleging fraud.
I would like the service completed and will update this review when my documents arrive.
