Mushtaq was nothing but helpful and kind throughout the whole process of not only teaching me to drive but also making the whole process of organising lessons despite some difficult time frames i proposed to him he still always managed to fit in time for me. He has an amazing balance of understanding and clear cut communication in my errors and how to improve. all in which he helped me pass first time which is all thanks to him!!! Also was very fun and enjoyable which makes everything so much easier and smoother!

Absolutely ridiculous booked lessons a week ago turns out the instructor didn't want to show up.

I was learning to drive manual and I passed first time in Birmingham! My driving instructor was Jordan, he was super supportive and patient throughout all my lessons. Always taking the time to explain manoeuvres, giving tips and providing structured lessons. Definitely recommend him for anyone wanting to learn manual!

This is a complaint about the driver Farid who I had a lesson with on Friday 17th July. It started with a small conversation about when I had my test and how many lessons I have had. He decided to do a mock test where he pulled out a sheet which already had markings on them to write down any faults I had. We drove for 7 minutes down 4-5 roads and he asked me to pull over. He then told me I had 10 faults in these 7 minutes. I personally don’t know how that is even possible but asked him to explain each fault to me and when it happened. His answer was during driving. I told him to again explain so I know where and why they are faults. He then begins to make up random scenarios and even contradicting himself, saying i should have stopped at the zebra crossing then told me one of the faults was sharply breaking at the zebra crossing. Which is it? Can’t be both. I told him I want my money back and to cancel the lesson. He first refused to give my full money back as I guess 7 mins of driving is worth £20 but eventually gave the full amount. He the told me to get out his effing car and to f off. That I don’t know what I’m doing with my life plus other profanity. Very professional by one of your drivers. I told him I will be complaining about this to the company and he quickly took the learner sign with the company details off the top of his car and put it in the boot. I called the company and all they said was right an email and told me they was not there so can not do anything about it.
I have had 2 different instructors within this same week as I am looking for as many lessons as possible until my test and I have had no problems with them. I don’t know if this is a tactic used to get people to cancel tests and take more lessons but the behaviour and teaching is disgusting and shameful. Just go with independant instructors all these companies do is hire any driver and slap their company name on the car.

I had a great experience with Drivers GB. I recently passed my test after taking lessons with Mushtaq. He was a very good instructor and I definitely recommend him. He’s experienced, knowledgeable and attentive. 10/10

I had Jasmin for my driving lessons, she was so supportive and helpful and i couldn’t recommend her more, made me feel so at ease and safe. Great experience!

I highly recommend Mr. K. Chanda as a driving instructor. He is professional, patient, reliable, and very personable, which made every lesson comfortable and stress-free. His calm and down-to-earth approach really helped put my nerves at ease and build my confidence behind the wheel. Thanks to his excellent guidance, I passed my driving test on my first attempt with only two minors. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for automatic driving lessons.

Pretty awful. A pain to book with first filled in online website form, it got ignored so I called but it was hard to sort things out over the phone so I went in person to sort it out. I already had a bit of driving skill and was planning to take the test in my own car. First instructor I was given I think just wasn’t very bothered with teaching me because of that. Spent a lot of lessons just sat talking he even had a go at me one lesson that caused me to breakdown into tears. He really destroyed my confidence so I pushed back my test too. After that I went back for another instructor which was a hassle again but after a lesson with her she last minute text me before the next lesson that asking for a scheduled lesson a week was too much commitment for her. I moved on to find an instructor myself after that from RED and passed 1st time 1 minor. Would ask for a refund for the money wasted and how bad the instructors were but doubt they would give it me. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

To anyone reading this and contemplating whether or not to take an intensive corse ESPECIALLY with driversGB, DONT! Please do yourself a favour and pay for weekly lessons and book a test through the government yourself.

My problems started when I had to wait nearly 6 months for my course, it was only because of constant calls I made that prompted a date for the course to be organised.

My instructor cancelled 2 half days on me which put me under immense pressure which driversGB took no accountability for.

In the build up to the actual course the information I received was only given when I asked for it, additionally parts of the information was incorrect or misleading again throwing me off when actually taking the course.

The instructor was really polite and the cancellations wasn’t he’s fault however the communication was dreadful while organising the meeting locations and times. This also falls on drivergb as the lack of organisation and accountability is blatantly evident.

I am currently fighting for a full refund which is stalling because blame is getting passed around, I cannot stress enough how much of a waste of time, effort and money the whole ordeal was. PLEASE DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME !!!!

I have been learning to drive with Chanda since March 2025 and yesterday I passed my driving test with only 2 minors. I would highly recommend Chanda he was accommodating, patient and made me feel at ease

Definitely recommend! I did a 30 hour Automatic intensive with Mr Chanda and I passed first time. He’s very friendly and down to earth and he’s not here to try to take your money like other instructors. What I appreciated the most was his honesty from the start, before we started our first lesson he said if he didn’t think I was gonna be ready he wouldn’t send me to the test but he really pushed me and crammed as much in as he could in such a short time. He really did want me to pass and I did. He’s funny unlike other instructors and he’s been doing it for over 30 years so definitely recommend! Please request Mr K. Chanda !!!

I don't take driving lessons but ive seen a car registered to this company parked on a double yellow line, drop kerb corner, blocking blind spots for an accident to happen, with her 2 children in the car. You'd think a driving instructor would know not to park on a double yellow line, a drop kerb corner, not this fool. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING ANY LESSONS FROM THIS WOMAN UNLESS YOU WANT TO FAIL. Car registration is LN13 OZT.

asad is a time waster. he constantly pulls over to say the same thing and then tells you to get out the car to give ur legs a break. He also went to GREGGS on my lesson that was i paying for.

I have had to cancel my lessons with my driver as after spending £910 on 26 lessons and talking to people I have found out he was truly ripping me off. Firstly, I never had a full hour of driving. My instructor would tell me to pull over and start talking about non driving related things. Numerous times my lessons were ended 15 minutes earlier. He never taught me why the gears need changing so I could do this off my own back, he would tell me when I needed to change gear, he never taught me the road signs and most worryingly, he never told me to me to check my mirrors while I was driving. Something I didn’t know I had to do until I spoke to a friend. We were in the same area for all 26 hours. Never progressed. Clearly delaying me to get more money as numerous of his students were either cancelling lessons or just cancelling with him completely. Very annoyed that I have wasted so much money with this instructor.

He was my instructor for almost two years. He was very patience understanding, Always keen to teach me. He also encourage me to pass my driving.I will definitely recommend him to anyone.

I suffered really bad over the years changing different driving instructors however chose to stick with jasmin , and after 3 months finally passed . Honestly if your learning to drive around the kingstanding area, request for Jasmin , she’s not intimidating and is patient , I can promise after 2/3 lessons you will see improvement . She will settle your nerves where you feel comfortable. Thankyou Jasmin for giving me this great achievement .

I am very pleased and thank full to Rashid who has been my instructor past a month,I have passed my practical test today with my 1st attempt with 2 minor mistakes.All his coaching helped me to pass successfully,I would definitely recommend Rashid to my friends and family
