I had a really great experience learning to drive with Angie at Drewmatic and couldn't have asked for a better instructor. I had trouble finding anyone in Durham available but Drewmatic responded quickly and got me set up with a time that worked for me. I’d failed my test before and was quite anxious about starting again, but Angie was always patient, calm and really clear when explaining things.

She made me feel comfortable asking questions and helped me understand what I was doing. She’s very attentive on the road and focused on safety. I felt prepared for my test and passed first time this time around. I’d definitely recommend Angie and Drewmatic to anyone looking for a supportive and professional instructor.

I done my lessons with Ian and cannot thank him enough! He's patient and teaches really well putting me at ease. Would recommend to anyone wanting to start there lessons 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I never felt rushed or pressured and he always took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood each step before moving on. His guidance really helped me build confidence behind the wheel, and I felt fully prepared for my test. I started my driving lessons with Clint back in June 2025 and passed with no faults in October 2025.
Clint made me feel at ease and comfortable making lessons something to look forward to.
He explained things in a way that I understood.

I’ve been driving with Ian Donnely since the start 2025, after a bad experience with my previous instructor. He went through everything I needed for my test with me in great detail. Ian was patient and considerate, supporting me all the way.
I gained so much experience and confidence in my driving with him.
And on the day of the test I passed with no faults. He’s an excellent instructor and I couldn’t recommend him more.

I recently passed my test (first time!) with Clint of Drewmatic and cannot recommend him enough. I was an incredibly anxious student and he was so reassuring and clear with his instruction as well as being an absolute hoot to spend an hour and a half a week with. Just want to say a huge THANK YOU to Clint from drewmatic. I was a very nervous driver but Clint made the entire experience so much more comfortable, fun and encouraging.

Right from the very first lesson, clint was friendly, patient, calm and clear in his instructions which really helped with my confidence, Clint has a great ability to explain and talk through everything in a way which helps you to understand clearly and with his help and guidance I was able to pass my driving test today with confidence because of him.
