I will leave my feedback here because I really care about this game. I love the game and I only play Drakensang online. It's too bad that this game never got into the hands of good and competent developers. I am very disappointed with the developers at the moment and the content that they create in every single event, especially Chinese New Year. This time, the developers of the game really crossed the line. I was under the impression that the DEVs really care about this game and the few players that are left. However, with The Chinese New Year they proved exactly the opposite. All they care about is money. The only purpose of the DEVs is to get the last cent from the players' pocket. Twisting players' arms for money is somehow not right or correct. I definitely will not make a group of people millionaires with a game which is 20 y/o. I believe that everyone has the same opinion. We, like the DEVs, have our own lives, we go to work, we have families. Our life is not Drakensang Online. I haven't entered this stupid event even once, and I won't till its end. Let the DEVs play it! I dont care at ll how mighty this stupid Drako set is!
And one more thing very important! The Developers are just killing the game with all these millions of andermants the players have to spend every single event. Instead of trying to reduce the number of the players using BOT, on the contrary - their number increases. Players who have not used to play with BOT are now playing with BOT. I will give you Dark Orbit as an example. I stopped this game a long time ago exactly because it turned into a bot game. This is exactly why I stopped the game. I am seriously considering stopping Drakensang Online too!!! It's really hard to find groups for Realm Fragments, Blood Chests, Events, etc., just because almost everyone is booting the game. And the DEVs are doing nothing. Some of the players are botting even the arena.
Last thing - the DEVs are destroying the arena now with all these new sets that make possible each player to kill the opponent with one shot. Most of the players are playing mostly arena. Now the players are juust leaving the battlefield when they see a mage or a dwarf as an opponent. The arena now is a complete trash!!! The result? - More and more players are quitting the game! Long time ago they removed the runes and the jewels from the arena with this purpose! These are ancient characters that have maces, swords, bows. It is expected the playes to show some skills on the arena, it is not expected to oneshot the opponent.
The current DEV team has no clear vision and concept about this game. I hope we can change the situation here!

Towarzyszę tej grze od dobrych 10lat +/- 2 lata. Gra ma potencjał i coś w sobie ma co sprawia, że chce się do niej wracać po krótkiej przerwie. Niestety pomimo wprowadzanych aktualizacji i dużej ilości nowego kontentu gra nie ma nic nowego do zaoferowania. Ironia tej produkcji..im więcej nowości tym mniej nowości. Wszystko co jest wprowadzane jest nieprzemyślane, przykładem jest nowy set z Chińskiego Nowego Roku, ktory jest do zabawy na 5min i odłożenia do depozytu na zawszę.
Chcesz mieć nowy set? nie ma problemu...poświęć 5 dni (co jest naturalne w grach tego gatunku) i 700 000 mrocznych monet które zbierałeś ostatni rok. Gra nastawiona na zakup mrocznych monet. Czas nie gra roli tylko twój portfel. To już nie to co kiedyś....farmiło się dwa tygodnie jedną mapę dla itemu, który zmieni twoje życie, mroczne były tylko dodatkiem, a po poświęconym czasie czułeś, że było warto.
Deweloperzy oczywiście muszą jakoś zarobić, dlatego mimo wszystko wspierało się ich zakupem lootboxów, peleryn eventowych, ogólnie rzecz biorąc rzeczami, które pomagały coś zdobyć....teraz kupuję się same przedmioty. Bez kasy nie masz racji bytu, ponieważ nie masz jak brać udziału w ewentach.
Co poprawi tą grę? Mechaniki dla tego gatunku gier, nowe przedmioty, które umożliwią zbalansowaną grę z setem BGH/Draganem i przede wszystkim słuchanie ludzi, którzy jakimś cudem jeszcze tu grają.

Я знаком с вашей игрой уже более десяти лет. Когда-то она была местом, куда хотелось возвращаться: совместные походы, живое общение и ощущение настоящего игрового сообщества.
К сожалению, последние годы принесли совсем другие впечатления. Постоянные ограничения, спорные изменения и акцент на донат заметно снизили интерес игроков. Атмосфера, которая раньше объединяла людей, постепенно исчезает, а количество активных участников становится всё меньше.
Мне жаль видеть, как проект теряет ту уникальность, благодаря которой он когда-то выделялся.

И такой фарм вас ждет ежедневно так как количество иномантов выпадаемых уменьшели с 3 раза за последнии пол года , играть можно только если у вас безлимитная кредитка .

Subject: Technical disgrace, permanent ban traps, and developer mockery — STOP SPENDING!
I’ve been playing Drakensang Online since the level cap was only 20, and the same issues have persisted ever since. Currently, playing as a Steam Mechanicus is a total disaster. The "Finest Dwarf Steel" talent is bugged and provides no immunity (Mages still freeze me, and Dragonknights still stun me), and the shooting mechanics are non-existent: the Dwarf’s bullets simply vanish at close range. The developer's response to this bug was pure mockery: "Just stand further away." Instead of fixing hitboxes and mechanics, they tell us to "just deal with it."
Every new event introduces a wave of bizarre bugs. Since skill descriptions for all classes are stripped-down and lack any real detail, players can't tell if a mechanic is a bug or an intended feature. People start using these "quirks," and in the end, they get BANNED for it. The developers are literally punishing us for their own coding errors and lack of transparency!
On top of that, every event is riddled with glitches. If you happen to use these "dev-made bugs," they will simply PERMANENTLY BAN your account without any explanation or justification. You invest years of time and money, only to be kicked out because of the creators' own incompetence.
Since 2021, the situation has only gotten worse. Every class is plagued with critical bugs that have been ignored for years. The developers only care about monetization, responding to serious reports with cold indifference.
I URGE ALL PLAYERS: STOP SPENDING MONEY! Until the developers start fixing bugs and respecting the community, they don’t deserve a single cent. Don’t pay for permanent bans and broken mechanics—especially for the very bugs they created themselves, only to ban players for them later!
A Great Game Ruined by Paywalls
I have been playing this game for several years, and I never regretted starting it. It used to be exciting, атмосферic, and truly enjoyable. The world, events, and character progression kept me motivated to log in every day.
However, lately I’ve been seriously thinking about quitting.
The game has become heavily focused on donations and microtransactions. Almost everything now feels locked behind paywalls. New sets and strong gear are mostly obtainable through premium currency, and the only realistic options are either spending real money or farming for endless hours every single day. It feels exhausting rather than fun.
Instead of enjoying the gameplay, I now feel pressured — pressured to donate, pressured to grind at night just to keep up. It seems like the developers have shifted the focus from creating a great player experience to pushing monetization. That constant push to spend money really takes away the motivation to log in.
It’s disappointing, because this used to be such a beautiful and engaging game. Sadly, in recent times it feels like the balance has been ruined.

Avoid like the plague
I've been playing this game since the beginning. There have always been problems, as is normal in an online multiplayer game, but for the first 5-8 years, we had time to test new features on the test server and give feedback to the developers so they could fix them, and there was minimal interaction with them.
In the last 4-5 years, all of that has disappeared. No more test servers; changes go directly to the live servers, with countless issues that often go unresolved.
I strongly believe that the developers don't understand the game mechanics, and this is evident in the countless changes made to the game, with the addition of items that either ruin the game because they're too powerful or are buggy and don't work.
Or worse, they talk about class balance, and with the new changes, they're unbalancing them even further...just look at the latest seasonal rankings.
Furthermore, to get new items/features, you have to dig deep into your wallet, spending hundreds of euros every month (first for the Christmas set, then for the purple companion, now for a Chinese New Year set, and it will always be like that).
Interaction with players is practically nonexistent, so why keep playing and doing the same things for 15 years?
In 2026, it's a game to avoid like the plague.

Я понимаю что все выпадение предметов рандомно, но рандом должен заканчиваться там где начинаются деньги - и если игрок платит деньги значит он должен с определенный шансом ГАРАНТИРОВАННО получить то за что платит.
Пока, что забросил игру - не интересно, да и не вижу большого смысла платить не пойми за что.

Играю в игру с 14-го года. разными персонажам. В 2025 году играть стало просто не выносимо. Сплошной донат. Раньше ты мог всего достичь своим упорным трудом и временем. Сделать сеты, руны, камни. без доната. Сейчас стали вводить сеты, слоты под руны, петов и ездовые животные которые без доната можно сделать примерно за года 3 упорной работы. если прогуливать не будешь. Или вкидывай в игру 200-300 евро в месяц. разработчики просто плюют на мнение игроков и развитие игры. Все более дикий упор на монетизацию. Новым игрокам нет ни каких бонусов и скидок. Идет только отток игроков из игры.
Упущеное время
К сожалению игра стала пропитана Донатом до иголочки, каждый ивент требует иноманты миллионами по итогу только то и делаешь что фармишь иноманты на сундуках и обломки кали это выматывает, вод бесполезных сетов, дисбаланс на арене, одни обещания по поводу ведения войн гильдий и пятого класса длиться годами так же как и некоторые баги стары почти со старта проекта. Все это желает оставлять лучшего данному проекту

Последние 5 лет команда разработчиков только монетизируют игру всеми силами, никаких улучшений, серверы висят, я в игре с 2010 года, но что-то подсказывает пора прощаться с ней,как поступили многие знакомые......

I've been playing Drakensang since 2015. This game has had a lot of problems over the years: bugs, unfair character balances, glitches, and so on. But the last five years have been a complete disaster. You used to be able to just drop in and play with friends, participate in events, chat, and so on. Now, after the bans and the introduction of unnecessary donation boosts, the number of players is dwindling. It's a shame the developers don't listen to the players. I'm truly rooting for the project. I'm giving it two stars purely out of respect for the old DSO.

These Devs just suck, they dont care about game, they dont care about players. Game is slowly dying. New updates and sets are behind payment or it costs milion anders… sad

I’ve been playing since 2012 up to the present, and from what I’ve seen over the past few years, the game has increasingly become “pay to win.” Nowadays, those with more money in their wallets progress faster, rather than the players who spend hours farming and investing time into the game.
I like the game that’s why I’m still here but this direction isn’t something everyone can keep up with. Not everyone can or should have to spend money just to stay competitive.
The new set mainly benefits mages, and that creates a clear imbalance. If only one class can fully take advantage of it, the overall balance of the game is affected.
The game no longer feels like it did in 2012 or even 2019. Back then, there were issues too, but progression didn’t directly depend on taking money out of your wallet just to improve.
Playing DSO since April 2012

I have started playing this game in April 2012 with a few breaks. I have definitely played more than 10000 hours, though. It went through many ups and downs during all of these years.
I had the most fun playing when the level cap was 40, 45 & 55 (I didn't play much when it was 50) even though the game was still kind of pay to win back then, but not even close to what it became now. With the Content Expansion that occurred in December 2020 the level cap became 100 and on the very next day the PvP got destroyed, but again not even close to what it became now. It wasn't perfect before that as well but it was much better on level 55 when only the base values of the items were active in PvP, no gems, no runes, no jewels, no set bonuses. They kept on saying that they were going to fix it, but later on they openly said that they don't care about PvP that much even though a lot of the players like PvP more than PvE, including me!
For more than 1 year, the current DSO team kept on adding bundles and pay to win events, up to the point that it became a complete disgrace! The previous DSO team was much better!
I still play this game only because I can play it with the cool people I met back in 2012 and later on, not because of the game itself! I wouldn't suggest anyone to keep on playing it, because it became pay to win and it's not worth your time!
