Candace is hands-down the best…
Candace is hands-down the best there ever was! She is the absolute glue to the Downtown Works Mission Valley location. She creates such a genuine warmth in the space and is always looking for ways to connect members together and introduce everyone to her network of professionals.
Also, she keeps the space SO clean. It sounds simple, but the cleanliness goes such a long way in making it comfortable and easy to just sit down, focus, and work from every day.
Candace constantly goes above and beyond to create fun events and bring in food trucks for us and all the surrounding businesses. The kitchen is always stocked with snacks, and having local drinks on tap is the perfect touch.
The overall vibe is great, the design is literally set up for your success, and there’s a really nice variety of conference rooms for whatever size team or meeting you have. But really, at the end of the day, Candace is the one who makes this place what it is!

I love coworking days at Downtown Works Carlsbad. The location, space, and amenities are tasteful and high quality. The rate is competitive but offers more for the cost. The staff are also attentive and easy to talk with. As a nursing mom going back to remote work they could accommodate my needs, and the outdoor space alone is worth coming time and time again!

The setting is beautiful and both Taylor and Eva are pleasant and welcoming. It's been a successful tax season for receiving and mail, client drop-off of materials. Only question item was what the rules were for client pick-up of tax returns with Nancy or I meeting them there -- in terms of when a brief meet in the reception area becomes a meeting that should reserve a room. Think we've sorted it out, but want to wait to award that 5th star until a few more months have gone by (we just started in January). All in all, though, we're delighted and thrilled with Downtown Works Carlsbad!

Our goal is always to maintain a professional and comfortable environment for all members while balancing the intended use of each membership type.
As discussed, our standard Virtual Office membership is designed primarily for business address and mail services, while meeting room access and coworking benefits are included with select upgraded memberships such as Virtual Office+. We’re glad we were able to connect and clarify expectations together, and we truly appreciate your understanding and collaboration.

Downtown Works was genuinely one of the best decisions I made as a remote worker in San Diego. I was a member for over a year, and what started as a solution to working-from-home loneliness turned into something so much more. The people I met there felt like real coworkers, and the team goes above and beyond to actually get to know you, not just check you in and hand you a coffee.
The space itself is adorable, has incredible energy, and the snacks are an underrated bonus. They have extra monitors available (first come, first served), and as someone who got there early, I never had an issue. Honestly, that alone was a huge selling point for me.
I moved away and had to give up my membership, which was genuinely sad. But if I ever move back to San Diego? I'd be back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

This space is beautiful. I really enjoy the outdoor work area and tables where I can have my lunch and break up my work week at home. It's peaceful and I enjoy the amenities. I am also grateful for the staff - they're accommodating and helpful when I need anything. There is a good balance of communal shared space and the ability to have privacy with your work.

I can't even begin to tell you all the…
I can't even begin to tell you all the dimensions of awesomeness and vectors of joy embedded in DW-Carlsbad. I think I'd have to start with that very moment you walk in and are greeted by two of the coolest humans on the planet, brimming over with anecdotes, complex layerings of sass, and a joie de vivre that is more uplifting than a quad espresso with your zodiac sign swirled as latte art. As you walk through the space, settling into power-mood lighting and elegant steampunk flourishes, receiving greetings and waves through the various postmodern glass walls of the friendly yet immersed-in-deepwork co-workers, your brain changes state from whatever baggage-cloud you walked in with - to a stainless, spotless, sharp-edged precision MACHINE because you, and everyone else, are here to work - or rather, make productive magic happen. In all honesty, this DW - and most particular the mavens of the front desk - commingle fun, collaboration, and focus in a way that's truly remarkable. I keep coming back!

Great Place for Productivity
I’ve been using this coworking space for a while.
The staff members who I know( Eva and Taylor) are absolutely amazing. They are incredibly approachable, kind, and always ready to help. They’re very prompt and supportive, and they encourage members to connect through networking and the events they host.
The space itself is well organized, hygienic, and very conducive to productivity. Everything feels thoughtfully maintained and welcoming. I also love the patio which is perfect to take a break and stretch.

Also… the patio. Totally agree. It’s the perfect little reset spot when you need a break and some fresh air before jumping back in.

Amazing team!
This place is incredible! Not only did the space meet my needs, the high light was having Eva and Taylor around to help us out and accommodate my team and I! Definitely recommend this location over the other DW as well. Top tier!

Downtown Works is an exceptional meeting location with beautiful work spaces and meeting rooms which offer all of the necessary tools conducive to a great work and meeting space.
The amenities are amazing and the concierge service goes above and beyond to make your Downtown Works experience easy, comfortable, and inviting.
Easy access and plentiful covered parking space. Very modern and clean. Offers both indoor and outdoor spaces. A very warm and friendly atmosphere.
Downtown Works is our go-to for team and client meetings.

Great office space after a full year here
We've been office tenants at Mission Valley Downtown Works for over a year, and this location has been a great fit for us. The free parking and easy access are major advantages compared to other spots. The amenities are consistently excellent with a well-stocked kitchen and professional conference rooms. Candice does an outstanding job as office manager! We’re genuinely glad to be part of this community.

Great spot
Great spot - really enjoying it. Only suggestion - can we turn the music in the main working areas lower or off entirely? There really is no need to have music playing loudly while people are trying to focus / on calls.
