I’ve purchased 13 fire rated doors and the service ive received has been excellent from the ordering process all the way to the delivery i was kept updated through the whole process and the extra plus is the honest and genuine advice given by Steve is valuable.

Good choice and competitive prices

Real people offering good service
We needed some advice with regard to fitting interior bi-folds. Steve gave us the information we needed and then followed this up a few days later with full fitting instructions plus some helpful hints.
Our order arrived within a few days direct from LPD doors and earlier than the time slot given. The delivery driver was friendly and helpful, checking the doors for damage and placing them where we wanted them. Another good ambassador for his company.
I would highly recommend both Doors to You and LPD doors for good service, quality products and the best price around.

Answered the phone each time within a few rings, with a very knowledgeable sales man, that helped to make sure i had every item i needed for the 9 doors i was buying,had all items in stock and delivered in 3 days good old fashioned true service..very rare these days . after nearly ordering from a couple of other places only to ring and was hanging on 40 mins decided to read reviews luckily..i tried a few all had bad reviews...so lucky to have found this company and will be using again ..

Bowed 33in Fire Door
I had 9 doors delivered. The first door I hung did not fit the frame very well. In checking the frame found it to be correct. But checking the door, found it to be bowed by about 3mm casing the door not to fit as well as I would have liked.This was the 33in fire rated 44mm door. Still in the process of hanging the others. I have not at this time followed this up, so I don't know how this sutuation would have been dealt with.

As per the Emailed response (29/11/2023) the degree of bow referenced, falls within the tolerances as specified by BS4787-1:1980 notably, deviation from face to straight lines (bow) in length: 4mm.
Notwithstanding, Engineered cores, by virtue of their construction, are seldom susceptible to bowing, and in any event, is usually environment related.
On the basis you’re entirely happy with the way the door has been hung and the corresponding latch/hinge alignment
(in certain circumstances, a tight latch combined with the hinges sitting out of line with the latch, can impact the door leaf)
following the recommended protocol will typically remediate nominal bowing on Internal doors.
