Very disappointed with my experience. Once this company took my payment, no service was provided—no viewings, no updates, and no real communication. It feels like the service stops entirely after they receive your money. I’ve had to file a refund request through my credit card provider. Be aware that this company appears to report or remove negative reviews, so please read all feedback carefully and proceed with caution.

I ordered a collection for the 14 January and I got a email too sat they would pick up between 11and 1 and I could track them for the exact time they were arriving I would recommend this company to anyone who has an items to get rid of thank you

It's not the best company, but at least they do their thing. Not the best experience I had, but It's not the worst one as well.

The “excellent” ratings on Doorsteps.co.uk are untrustworthy and reviews looks suspicious with over the top gushing praise. Trustpilot 4/5star reviews are riddled by fakes across the entire platform and are paid for in batches.
The agent service provided by Doorsteps in my experience was
inefficient, ineffective , so unprofessional and the time taken to sell the house was utterly abysmal. This company should of sold my immaculately presented house in 1-2 months not the 15 drawn out months it took. Houses in direct competition with mine were sold in 4/5 weeks by traditional agents.
15 months of dreadful and almost non-existent communication, lost viewers who gave up trying to view and the many missed appointments, where doorsteps clueless staff booked and cancelled apps at will , whilst forgetting to remind both parties. They messed up so many viewings and having to chase the unknowledgeable contract staff was infuriating. I had to chase them 3/4 times a day where I realised they had messed up yet again. It was a constant recurring problem.
Majority of Viewers ( 50+) complained to me directly during viewing that is was hard to get through on phone to Doorsteps for viewings and found the Doorsteps staff were unhelpful & useless, mirroring my own experience of them, and I believe I missed out on 50+ more viewings easily by their amateurish mismanagement.
The founder should be embarrassed at the level of incompetence of his company. It was truly shambolic.
I lost £10k of asking price because they were so incompetent and I would not recommend this agent if they was the last one on earth.
I have recently noticed the frequent and overly positive reviews on TrustPilot of this company which do not come across as remotely genuine to me!!!
Majority Completely in contrast with my own dire experiences with Doorsteps.
Most of it appears fake or paid for and if you read through you will also notice a huge amount is bot written in bad english, alleged reviewer called Ji Xia fron China, 5star review...

His one other review is of a florist in uk and is also a fake review “ good good good”??

I highly recommend people to use a traditional seller not this hopeless shower at Doorsteps and it’s fake bot written reviews. Trustpilot is also a big paid for advertising con and your own actual experience tells you all you need to know of a company.
AVOID this low cost bunch of cowboys.

Both companies are untrustworthy and I’m very glad to relist it and even happier to hear the atrocious Doorsteps have gone bust!! Excellent news. A disaster of a business!

It gave amazing deserts. Would 100% recommend to a friend.

They have gone bankrupt which is no surprise as they priced themselves out of the market charging as much as proper estate agent charge for the worst service possible. The young man who started the business A Rupella had it working perfectly with superb service the idiot who was left when Mr Rupella left ran it into the ground and no doubt stripped the finances from the company had not a clue how to run or build a company. I used them many times but the last twice was a complete joke. False advertising, false promises tje man is an complete Moron

Sold my house using doorsteps in 2021 and paid just £99 + VAT. I did ALL the work but just wanted my property listed on Rightmove - which you can’t do without an agent. I have just gone to their website to do the same again and the lowest priced option they have now is £499! They must have been making an absolute fortune with the property market the way it’s been since Covid so to put the price up by 500% is just… well, shame on you! I will be going elsewhere this time!

Justin Leahy, need to learn a lot more, do not follow what he says and not responding to correct his errors when pointed to him.

Just awful. Stay away. The positive reviews here must have been fake as I can't quite possibly understand how anyone could have had a good experience with this company. There is next to no way of getting through to anyone once you have signed up - before this point they will sales call you within seconds! Shocking and so many floors with the portal.

I would give this company 0 stars if possible, Stay away! Bunch of unprofessional scammers! They sold additional solicitor services which had to be paid upfront and then never paid the solicitors! To complete on the sale I had to pay the solicitors directly! Doorsteps refused to refund me and I ended up having to claim the money back through my credit card company!

Hopefully trading standards will shut this shambles of a company down shortly!

Contacted Doorsteps via phone to get more info and details on the process to sell a property. Ammar was very helpful and answered all my queries, I booked and paid for a premium package over the phone, they requested a review and I gave 5 stars. Will leave a further review of my experience once the property has sold.
Update on 20/09/22: I had to cancel as they were not happy with my ID and proof of ownership, I took my business elsewhere and requested a refund.
Update on 19/10/22: Still waiting for my refund, they claim to have issued the refund on 03/10/22 and said it will take 10 working days, it is now 13 working days and am still waiting. I have to chase every time they are not bothered and the aftersales customer service is very poor. All I can say now that I have experienced them for what they truly are is: AVOID

Great customer service from Ammar , took no more than 5 minutes and I was more than satisfied with the outcome. Very helpful!
