Nasty People store manager in the…
Nasty People store manager in the office in Facebook this is not good
I Love Dollar Tree!
There are 3 Dollar Tree stores within a couple of miles near me, but the best one by far is in the Airport Plaza on the corner of Airport Road and Post Road. I am always finding new items, and the brand-name items like Colgate toothpaste save me lots of money. Heidi, the Manager, is always friendly and kind, as are the other employees. If I could, I'd give this store 6 stars!
BE CAUTIOUS WITH NASTY STORE MANAGER
We placed an order online and only option was pick up at the store. When we got back from picking up product we realized we were sent the wrong item. When we contacted HQ, we were told to take the product back to the store for a refund. When we got to store the store manager was VERY NASTY, would not hear us out whatsoever. The store manager stated she cannot do a refund only exchange and that we couldn't do exchange for a product she did not have. Told us to take items we were trying to return and leave her store. I tried speaking with her over the phone, she refused to speak to me. Told my co-worker that she wasn't going to speak to me any longer due to my nasty attitude. All I was doing was giving back the same energy I was getting from her. I heard her tell my co-worker to leave the store and was very loud about it instead of trying to correct the issue and make it right for the customer. We were treated like if were trash, kept stating to leave the store. When asked for her name as I wanted to report this to Corporate she refused to give us her name, just kept yelling at my co-worker to leave the store. This was so humiliating to be treated like this in front of other customers at the shop. When I told her that they gave us wrong product she immediately got defensive and started being unprofessional with myself over the phone. We are in the retail business & ALWAYS try to find a solution, hear out the customer specially if we as a company made a mistake instead we were treated like a nuisance and made us feel worthless. She then stated that she did not make this mistake that it was corporate, I told her that she as an employee & manager for Dollar Tree company so when I state "you guys gave us the wrong product" I was referring to Dollar Tree not her directly. After that she refused to speak to me, handed phone over to my co-worker & told him that she wasn't going to speak to me any longer due to my "Nasty attitude" & started kicking out my co-worker.
Kelly
There is a cashier named Kelly at the Elyria, Ohio location on Cleveland Street who is rude and confrontational every time she rings me up. She does not say hello and when I ask her questions she treats me like dirt with her response and attitude. I have complained to store management and nothing changes.

The store manager of Dollar tree in Newburgh on Route 300 is very unpleasant and unprofessional. She is always yelling at customers. Very bossy.
I will not shop at this location any longer. I use to spend hundreds of dollars monthly in this store. I am fed up.

The inconsistent rules regarding the sale of gift cards. Not training new employees to activate gift cards, or do proper returns of all kinds. Lack of organization thru out most stores. Not being courteous to customers is common due to under staffing.
Dont apply in PA
I was hired of by these people but the original manager wasn't there for weeks who hired me during the whole time people warned or hinted about her abrasive and abusive Behavior and narcissistic methods of making people follow specific rules at convenient times. The manager that was there was attentive and very good with employees but had no knowledge of how the previous manager was running the store. Immediately upon her return she blindsided me with her tactical complaints. She obviously did not like me and was looking to get rid of me right off the bat only a couple days later I was written up for a low box count on a truck day even though there was leniency for the many hours the truck takes to complete not to mention the lack of space in an unorganized mess that they think they can work with. They're dirty The shevles are dirty the back room is a disaster area the break room was inaccessible They blame other workers for problems that others create to fit the narrative or image. Be careful out there
When I got into line for check out…an employee didn’t open a register and seen the line was backed up!
When I got into line for check out there were three customers ahead of me. A guy worked there (a younger guy with black hair) and he looked at the line and walked towards the back of the store. A few moments later after a couple more customers came up behind me he walked up and seen the line and walked to the back again. (This is when the manager came from the office to the cash register). When Rita was checking me out (very nice) he walked towards the office and she asked him was he working on a register. He said something like he didn’t know so a customer told him there was a line and he said that wasn’t his problem. I was so mad so I said loudly and he’s rude on top of it. I told all the customers to do a survey and I walked out of the store. Oh there were two managers in the office talking the ENTIRE TIME! An older lady went to the first register and opened it I’m not sure what she did but I heard a money tray was she too returned to the office and continued talking with the other manager while the employee was walking around doing nothing. It doesn’t seem like anyone wanted their job but Rita.
Dollar tree used to be cost effected
Dollar tree used to be cost effective be, but that .25 adds 1.00 to every four products. And to add insult to injury, the sizes are shrinking, beyond ridiculous. Never thought I would say this, but Walmart is much cheaper. More egregious, shelf space for 1.25 products shrinking, to make way for $3,5 and up, chinese garbage. The only reason I go, is because it's the only place I can find coralite pain patches, at decent price, but even they have changed the formula, to the point that they aren't as effective as they use to be

my biggest complaint is this not being able to take your purchases out in a cart, they have these poles on them so you can't take them out the door. I can understand why, several reasons am sure, but us older people cannot carry some of these items out, such as laundry soap, water, etc., and there is no one to take them out to our car. I don't go as often as I would because of this. Also, as to being a crafty person, my two stores don't carry near the things I see made from their merchandise as shown on sites on Facebook. I would think, they would be striving more since 99 cent store closed it doors.

The sales associate at my particular Dollar tree in Port St Lucie on US1. She was an angel for me today. Her name is emmanuela and she was so kind to bring my bags out for me. so I can make it out to the car. I just had hip replacement two weeks ago and I'm not even supposed to be driving or walking around as much as I did.
Dollar tree
Staff are nice and helpful. Products are fairly good. Most of the time are stocked up.
Great exp at Dollar tree
Went into Dollar tree in Eastgate today to buy a few things and I would just like to say that I found the staff very very pleasant it was around 9:30 in the morning on August 27 and I found the staff to be very pleasant with a great sense of humor. It seemed that they got along very well together because they were laughing and smiling but working hard still.. everyone should be like those guys. I wish I would have gotten all of their names but I did get one guy's name who was Sam he was very helpful. Thank you Dollar tree I will start going to this one for my dollar needs even though the beechmont one is closer.

I bought what I thought was Polymer clay. It obviously isn't polymer clay. It didn't specify on the package what type of clay, but it is sold like polymer clay. The clay did not dry and in research it says to bake polymer clay at 300°F for 30 minutes. I spent all day making things, and it melted all into one big puddle. So much work for nothing.
Cashier refused to pick up money from me on his counter
As I was checking out, I always try to do exact change. So I laid a $20 on the cashier's counter and searched for the change. As I got it, I put it on the $20 bill. He looked at it on HIS counter and said "out of respect to you, you must place it in my hand." Are you kidding. It was right there on HIS counter and he refused to pick it up. A manager/supervisor walked by and I asked her is he kidding. She looked at him, shook her head, looked down and walked on. He actually refused to take the money off his his counter and made me repick up the money and place it in his hand.
Very cordial employees
Every cashier I have had is always cordial. My issue is that the employees must do stock at the same time. They run back and forth their entire shift. It's ridiculous how much work is expected of them. BUT >>> The store (Eustis Florida) is always clean, clean bathrooms and well stocked.
Excellent Customer Service
I had a quick run to a Dollar Tree in Colonial Heights Va. near SouthPark Mall. It was very busy however all associates were pleasant. Kaylee, who I found out latter was the manager on duty, was called to the front. She helped the cashier and came to help an elderly customer who could not stand up much longer. Kaylee provided a chair while the customers product was being scanned. The customer gave Kaylee permission to use her card to purchase her products. The customer was with a cane as well so Kaylee very eagerly offered to assist the elderly customer to her car. My heart was so full to see that. This act of genuine kindness made the customer shed tears of gratitude You need more leaders like Kaylee. -Happy Customer

Why do Dollar Trees have Public…
Why do Dollar Trees have Public Restrooms? I mean I am from the restaurant industry and I know that restaurants must have restrooms if they serve food that is eaten on the premises. Though Dollar Tree sells ready to eat food, that doesn’t count. They don’t have tables and chairs for dining.
Well I was trying to post a picture of the restroom I encountered today but it won’t allow me to post it here. You can’t even imagine the mess that some homeless person left for the employees to clean up. I mean smeared on the walls and the floor, gross, just gross. The Homeless person likely had AIDS and/ or Hepatitis. Did you know that your local Dollar Tree employees are required to clean those bathrooms? With no protective gear, no less. So again I ask the question, why do Dollar Tree stores have public restrooms?
Unfair situation
I love the Sullivan store. The only thing is, there is an employee named Jessica Teel. She is a cashier but she is training the merchant manager Gina how to do things as a merchant manager but Jessica only receives cashier pay. She applied for the position but was told that she had a misdemeanor in 2021 so she couldn't have the position. It's not fair to her to be doing the work of a merchant manager but can't actually get the position. Now she has to train everyone in the store how to stock. The DM says she can't doing anything about it but couldn't someone higher up look into the situation? Thank you for your time. Excellent store.
