Hi Michael , thanks for your review. Our prices are up front and can be seen before you place your ad and there shouldn't be any confusion or surprise about this.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. We wanted to buy a Cocker Spaniel. We agreed with the man to come today and we entered the house and he said "this is a puppy"
It's a completely different dog, it's not a Cocker, I don't even know what kind of dog it is, there's no such dog for sale anywhere on his add. He has two black cockers and he's selling a brown dog, totally different dog…People like this are allowed to cheat and lie on this site. This was pointless and disgusting 😡🤬

Hi Radmila, Apologies about the delay in replying, I think we missed this one.
I'm sorry you didn't have a great experience finding a dog on dogs.ie. As you can imagine it's not straight forward to make sure people are not selling multiple dogs in their ads.
If you want to report a seller the best way is to email support@dogs.ie and we can look into the ad.
Did the seller give a reason for the switch ? We encourage all buyers to view the dog, its microchip certificate and to contact their vet if there is any questions about the dog being sold. You will find these tips at the bottom of each ad.
Very helpful

Communication is excellent and any issues/questions are handled very professionally. Highly recommended as a service for buying/selling dogs with animal welfare at its core.

Hi Stephen, we have 21 ads in the Chihuahua category and 49 individual dogs for sale, so there is a bit of competition between breeders. Your dogs would be at the higher end of the price scale, so it could be that your dogs are out of the price range for buyers, compared with other ads.
