The gate is easily lifted out of the brackets by my dog, it should be heavier. I purchased the locking brackets and my dog just easily pulled the screws out of the wall. A baby gate style might work better

Werkt zo makkelijk zelfs de installatie was makkelijk.
Ik had de extra wijde besteld en deze werd in 2 delen verstuurd. Het was alleen 2 schroefjes losdraaien en het andere gedeelte er tussen leggen en weer vastdraaien. En klaar!
Hij valt niet op in de woonkamer als hij dicht is, dit omdat je er een heel mooi klein pakketje van kan maken. Ik raad het aan!

The gate was just as advertised. Easy to fit. Good Delivery. No more choking the dog holding on to her collar when we have visitors. Very solid product. Should have bought one years ago.

Really solid gate, much better than the flimsy things we've seen advertised elsewhere.

The only thing we'd change is something to make it easier to hook the gate closed, maybe a bit of a funnel at the top of the catches, as it's hard to do when in a rush.

Amazing product I have one by my front door and one into my bedroom in my bungalow,so they don’t run in there with muddy paws during the day ! I’m going to get another one soon for my patio doors they are a lifesaver!

As a licensed professional Home Boarder, I invested in these gates throughout my home because the website emphasised their durability and claimed they were suitable for even the largest or most excitable dogs. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience.
Within the first week of purchasing them, the dog staying in my home had already broken parts of the gate on the staircase in several places. The company did send replacement parts, but these components are made of plastic and are therefore very easy to break. In addition, several dogs have been able to open the stair gates themselves, which led the company to send additional locks for me to install.
These gates are considerably more expensive than standard children’s stair gates. I chose them primarily because they fold away neatly and have a more attractive appearance. However, in practice they are not fit for purpose. Even after installing the replacement parts, the gates have broken several more times. Without the additional locks, every dog that has been behind one of these gates has been able—within a day or so—to figure out how to open them, or even lift them completely off the wall.
There are also potential safety concerns. If a dog is wearing a collar, there is a risk that it could become caught on the catches or over the top of the gate, so extra care is required.
While the concept behind the product is good and the company has been responsive, the gates simply do not live up to the durability claims made in their marketing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them in situations where it is important that the gate remains secure or withstands a dog jumping up against it.

Great customer service experience but I have to say, the gate is a game changer. Incredible innovative idea that is so perfect for the area I’m using it in.

After seeing an advert for Dog-G8 I contacted the company to ask a question to see if it could be used on an angle. I promptly received a reply asking for photos of where it would be installed. Once again they replied promptly saying that due to the design it would be suitable for my caravan. I have since placed an order and it was delivered within days. I received my order and then decided to order an extra panel and clips (just for future use incase my dog breaks them) this also arrived with days.
It isn't fitted as yet but will be within a few weeks when I go to my caravan. The only thing I will need to do is use shorter self tapping screws as I think these may be too long for where I intend to fit the gate as it will not be on the doorway, it will bridge the gap between the two beds.

The customer service and speedy delivery of this company cannot be faulted.

We met them at at NEC caravan show. Lovely people! Very helpful. We bought a gate and had socking parts posted because they had run out. They arrived really quickly. The gate is fantastic!

I bought the gate for my small Romahome Campervan. My previous retired greyhound absolutely loved the van & there was never any escaping. However, it’s a new experience for my new ex racer so needed something substantial in the narrow doorway that didn’t take up much room.

This gate perfectly fits the bill. Only issue was as cabin is fibreglass, the brackets didn’t adhere well enough. I called the company- wow brilliant customer service! He sent me a set of stronger bonding brackets. Brilliant & thank you Dog g8 - thoroughly recommend your product for all us campers.

Thought the product is absolutely amazing and would recommend to anyone who wants to secure their family pet. Dislike for me was being promised free delivery and a storage bag when spoke to Dog- G8 staff at NEC, saying if I enter with code given to me at their Stall from NEC - caravan show. Also ordered and paid for two screw lock brackets and received only one

Customer service was excellent - Charlotte went above and beyond to help with my enquiries. The gate was delivered internationally in record quick time. The gate itself is great quality, asthetically pleasing (for a dog gate) and works really well. We have a small dog and the gate construction is solid so she cannot push underneath. Would highly recommend.

This gate is a total game changer! No more fighting with baby gates! With 5 crazy cocker spaniels the kitchen was always getting raided, since we fitted this gate we can leave confident that the dogs are safe and so is our kitchen! I recently broke one of the connectors ( totally my fault!) and went on to the website and for about £1 you can buy replacements and they are delivered next day, simple and efficient. One of the best buys ever! Highly recommended!
