I recently had an accident and was directed by my insurance company to DLG in Newbury for an evaluation. My experience with them was incredibly disappointing.

Firstly, they inspected my car and concluded that the suspension was severely damaged, the alignment was completely off, and a new steering rack was necessary. Based on their assessment, they wrote off my car, estimating repair costs at a staggering £11,000.

However, the very next day after they returned my car, I went to get the alignment checked elsewhere. To my surprise, the alignment was only slightly off and easily corrected (I have the before-and-after alignment papers to prove it). Additionally, I booked an MOT test and the technician found nothing wrong with the suspension.

Essentially, DLG wrote off my car over a few scratches and minor issues that were far from the severe damage they reported. This misjudgment not only caused unnecessary stress but also could have led to a significant financial loss.

To add to the frustration, when they returned my car, the front bumper splitter was broken. While they did replace it, this kind of mishandling further reflects their lack of care and professionalism.

Overall, my experience with DLG was highly unsatisfactory, and I cannot recommend their services based on my ordeal. They misdiagnosed serious issues, leading to an unjustified write-off, and returned my car with additional damage. Proceed with caution if you decide to use their services.
