The website was easy to find, easy to apply and get insurance for my storage unit. It pulled up the storage facility where my unit is located and I was able to get insurance very quickly. I just got started with this insurance but I would recommend them to anyone who needs this type of insurance. The price was certainly much less than what I am paying right now. It was quick, easy and hassle free. All in all, it was a good experience and I got the insurance I needed to satisfy the storage facility Manager.

The process was easy. Gave multiple ways to pay and different options to get a discount. Great coverage and great price.

On-line pretty good. Had to call in for one question regarding multiple units in different locations. You need to put in as Step 4 the uploading of the unit lease. I didn't get a copy when leasing as the agent left the original in the unit so I could sign and return. That was somewhat of a surprise after the expectation that the confirmation notice would be the proof of insurance. Also--right at the end then it said it would take 7-10 days to issue the certificate of insurance. A bit misleading.

Discount Storage Insurance saved me from having to purchase the storage company's expensive policy. They sent a certificate of insurance every month, which I promptly sent to the storage company for proof of insurance. All for a very reasonable price, less than 10.00 dollars for $2000.00 policy. 10 out of 10!!

Super happy! My storage facility wanted to charge me $23(!!) a month for storage unit protection, which was exorbitant given that I rent three separate units there! Through Discount Storage, I only pay about $8 per unit for my minimal coverage needs — arguably, A WIN! The sign-up was easy to do online and the site was even able to cross-reference my particular storage facility, which was reassuring. The only suggestion I’d have for the site is to make signing-up for multiple storage units at the same facility more streamlined. I had to take out three separate policies the way it is. Not a big deal, and I’m very happy not to have to carry Home Renter’s Insurance to protect my stored belongings, because it’s a lot more expensive.

Edit** Recently, I’ve tried to contact Discount Storage for a policy question I had. I left two voicemails and sent two emails, but after 48 hours, nobody has gotten back to me. I docked them a star for unresponsive customer service.
