One of the WORST companies in the history of the internet!
We provide IT support for our customers and initially were just trying to help them migrate mail away from DigitalSpace to their new Google Workspace accounts. Without going into a lot of detail, it was an absolute nightmare. We couldn't even use Google Workspace's migration tool. So, we had to setup all their account in Thunderbird and manually move thousands and thousands of messages from their DS accounts to GW. It took days and lots of man hours to do this.
To make matters worse, the customer decided to move the domain registration and DNS hosting to another registrar. We cannot do this without DS sending an EPP transfer code. However, he has 3 domains that show up on his account and you have to do them one at a time. When you click on each domain to go into the settings to do this, one of the domains says it doesn't exist, another domain let us get the EPP code but then the transfer fails because ICANN said we have to wait 60 days, and his primary domain, the button won't even work because it looks like the nameserver boxes are empty and it says there are no nameservers registered. When I contacted support, they said they could see the nameservers registered properly on "their screen", but it wasn't showing up on the customer screen. They said they would have to "escalate it" to another team. We've aleady been "escalated" 3 times now with no response from these people in days.
They have prob'ly the WORST customer service in the history of internet companies! I cannot believe they are still in business. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
UPDATE: They "escalated" it again. Someone emailed us the EPP code manually. When we tried the code it failed! So they have to "escalate" it yet again to yet another department!
That's it..
That's it... it's down again.
This is the 8th time this year. This time I can't even log into the web site manager...
I just talked to another hosting company... tomorrow I'm shifting it.
DIY Website Builder is AWFUL
We are using the DIY website builder. I have experience with SquareSpace, and DigitalSpace is the bottom of the barrel. The DIY builder is not as intuitive as they claim it is. It is very buggy. I will update the font color, and it reverts to another color, when I'm not even working on that page any more. I randomly duplicates items. Even just trying to highlight words, doesn't always work. The amount of clicking, because I am having to duplicate my efforts. Oh, and their support won't help us, since we are on the DIY platform. I can't say anything positive about this system. I would recommend anyone using it, to leave, and if you are in the market to get a website builder, move on and look at all the other options out there!

Digital Space had a week long outage a few months ago. Once service was restored, we've had a constant string of intermittent issues. The latest being emails all of a sudden not working on outlook or phones. Can only be checked on their portal. Customer service doesn't do much other than pass the buck. Probably best to stay away until they get their act together.
No email service and no tech support
No email service and no tech support. The tech support phone does not answer and the chat does not answer. We never get advance notice of these interruption of services. We never get post notice and explanation of the interruption of services. We lose emails and sometimes we get duplicate emails for the last 3 months. It is a chore to clean them up.
Server failed AGAIN
Server failed AGAIN; cannot send/receive email on any of my devices- email client or webmail. My other email works fine across all my platforms. They have serious problems as this is consistently happening over the past couple months. Cannot reach them via phone, chat or webmail. They don't warn, acknowledge or follow up. Abysmal service.
Ridiculously Bad Service
Like so many others, I previously had web and email hosting through AT&T, who transferred the business (and my account) to DigitalSpace. For weeks now, there have been constant service interruptions, sometimes for hours and sometimes for days at a time. I am an attorney. I need consistent and reliable service, especially in connection with email hosting. I have clients, other attorneys, and courts calling me and telling me that their emails to me are bouncing back. I am unable to send emails from my firm email address. Calling the technical support line is useless. I have been on hold for two hours today, and have never reached an actual human being when I have called during previous outages. Surprise, surprise, I was able to reach a human being when I hit "4" to be connected to the sales department. Unfortunately, however, the individual there was unable to help me, other than to "escalate" my call. I am not holding my breath. I will be changing carriers at this point. The only open question is whether I will be initiating a class action lawsuit against this company, given the thousands of other individuals impacted by this non-stop nonsense.
Cancelled Service after Multiple Outages
Our business had email and web hosting for well over a decade with AT&T. Then they sold the business to Digital Space a few years ago. Within the last few months service has been abysmal. Multiple times our entire email (20ish accounts) was down. They not only gave us no warning it was down, they didn't even acknowledge the problem. They did no answer their phone or email and event the Chatbot didn't respond. We terminated our service and went with GoDaddy.

Email has been out for 5 days. Can't get anyone on the phone. Virtual assistant is a joke. Do not return phone calls. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

We have had issues with email not working off and on for 2 weeks. We've had no correspondence with the company or estimate of when the issue will be resolved. They claim to be a business email platform, but it is down more that it us up. I can't even use email to submit this review because it is down again.

Digital Space is an awful company. Was at&t web hosting and now its in way over its head—-DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It is incompetent and has the worst service reliability. It’s been out 3 of 5 days.
AT&T transferred me to this hosting…
AT&T transferred me to this hosting service, my site has been down for over a week during the transfer and I keep getting emails saying my domain is up for renewal even though I have an invoice showing it is paid for.
Calling customer service is a joke, waiting on line for an hour an then disconnected.
The chat seems nice, gives me a service number and then nothing happens . . . meanwhile my site is down. Who can put up with this crap

Biggest Scam Company. DO NOT USE!!!!
My grandmother unknowingly renewed her storage business domain through this HORRIBLE company because an email scared her into doing that, even though I had up her domain through Wix she did it through Digital Space. It's been months of back and forth with their Support to try to get her domain transferred out, and whenever the 'support' team member transferred it out, she would get an automated email that said "Click to reset your password" ???!! which has nothing to do with transferring out the domain!!!! The customer service does NOT know what they are doing and they DO NOT CARE to help in fixing anything. Now my grandmother passed away and we can't even access her email and apparently changing the admin email address tied to this account would lock the account for 60 days.... We needed this site running MONTHS AGO!!! This has been a nightmare and we are now starting with a new domain from scratch since this 'company' wants to hold her business domain hostage and won't help in any way. An absolute DISGRACE of a company, taking advantage of old people who don't know better. Stay far, FAR away from Digital imbeciles, I mean 'Digital Space Hosting.'
Digital space incompetent with billing and customer service…
Digital space stopped billing the cc I had on file and locked me out of my accounts. Customer service was useless in fixing this and kept directing me to their portal to update my billing info when I COULD NOT LOG IN. Complete morons.

customer service is NONEXISTANT CAN'T LOG INTO THE WEB SITE. Has very limited function. would be nice to organize and create folders for faxes that come in. But good luck getting anyone to answer a phone....
Fax Service Doesn't Work
I was forced to transfer my AT&T fax account to this company whose fax service is completely nonfunctional. Either I can't login with my AT&T credentials or I am immediately logged out moments after logging in.
Do not use Digital Space for your webhost or for any reason
I think anyone reading this having experienced the prices vs. available tools on digitalspace.net will agree, they are not comparably priced. At best, I would describe them as exorbitant. We inherited digitalspace from XO communications. Also, overpriced, but at least they had a decent suite of tools. I was fooled. I was had. I used to work at nonprofits and because I know how to get free webhosting, I was out of touch with competitive pricing. I though, oh, wow, but also just thought that was the state of the commercial hosting market. But the poor customer service (if you don't mind waiting for an hour), plus the lack of basic web management apps at a premium price started to wear on me. I looked into their reputation and it was very bad. Digital Space, LLC rides on the coattails of their XO Communications customer inheritance (another bone to pick) and it is wrong. Plain wrong. I am now using Hostinger. They are great, for me. I recommend typing into search "the best website host for [fill in the blank (e.g., small business, Wordpress, or multiple domains)]". Good luck canceling your services with Digital Space. The billing department makes its own hours (not 8 am to 7 pm M-F) and technical support is unable to help with this. Another major gripe.
Worst Experience.
Worst speed and worst control panel.. I cant even edit files. I need to download, edit and upload to make any changes. PhpMyAdmin doesn't load properly. Website loads very slow and some times it doesn't even load.
