I used their service for a year- cost me a fortune - and it did nothing to remove my info from some of the most common paid address searches. I keep seeing DeleteMe advertised by independent media, so felt compelled to write a review. The product seemed like a complete scam to me.

I used delete me for over a year. It was expensive and I would not recommend. The first few months I thought it worked because I didn't get as many spam calls, emails and texts. I was getting 10-20 spam calls a day and went to only getting a few a day after a month or two in. But the last few months I still get 5-10 spam calls a day, spam emails and texts. I would try another website.

I signed up for DeleteMe using a coupon code explicitly provided through a civil rights advocacy organization as a no-cost account due to a serious harassment and safety situation. Despite this, DeleteMe charged my credit card $349.

Customer support was unhelpful and appeared unfamiliar with DeleteMe’s own partnerships and promotional arrangements through nonprofit organizations. Even after I provided documentation showing where the code came from and that it was acknowledged as used, I was repeatedly told the coupon was “not valid” instead of the issue being escalated or properly investigated.

This was especially frustrating given that the service was recommended to help protect my personal information during an active harassment and stalking situation. Instead of support, I experienced billing errors, poor communication, and unnecessary stress.

If DeleteMe works as intended, that’s great—but their billing practices and customer support handling of partner-issued promotions need serious improvement.

Pure Scam!

The alleged breaches are completely fake. Here, some MyHeritage entries for a completely different name were shown. I doubt that this service removes anything from data brokers. This website simply charges a lot of money for a simple internet search for your name (2 seconds of work on Google), but then they want $14 for it. All in all, the site is a complete rip-off.

These guys are a hack. Not the real delete me and they should be reported to the FTC .

After a year I did a search for my name on both Google and DuckDuckGo and I was shocked. I found my address and phone number on these three huge directory sites in seconds - MyLife, ClustrMaps and Radaris. This is why I am still getting 4-6 spam phone calls a day!!!! TOTALLY WASTED MY MONEY. Don't even bother with DeleteMe, since they only get rid of listings on small directory sites while not removing your data from HUGE ones like above. Go with any other data removal service. This company does not do what they say!!!!!

Well after multiple attempts to purchase their services. They billed my credit card for about $400 and tell me my order is not complete and I have to change some URL’s. They don’t offer a service for $400, so I’m trying login and see what I paid for. It never prompted me to create a user id and password. Tried to contact them and keep getting links to reset password. When you click the link, it directs you back to the main page “delete.com”, and contains no place to login or change password. I’ll get email replies from someone at 4 am. Telling me to repeat the same process. Calling the credit card company to advise of scam.

SCAM. They are duping customers off of the more well-known brand DeleteMe (Abine) and then refusing to refund customers because simply by logging in you've "activated" the account. Utter nonsense.

I added 5 emails for them to search. They removed one out of five from Spokeo.com I had to do the rest myself manually, as they were "unable" to confirm it was me, despite giving all the emails and links.

They have found other data, however, due to this I cant say I feel confident they are doing a good job

deleteme.com has the best digital footprint scan and dark web. They don't just check data brokers; they provide you with the whole digital history, including social media, and then you send them what you want to remove.

DeleteMe is basically a scam. They only work with about 72 websites (!!!!) anything off their "list" they simply refuse to work on. They supposedly give you like 4 custom requests a month to deal with ALL THE REST OF THE INTERNET, but every single one I've submitted they just straight up refuse. I'm so mad. They are refusing to give me a refund. All the reviews on tech sites are total BS - they clearly have never truly tried it!

Spammers and probable scammers. They have spammed me with a dodgy email using hacks to hide the delivery address. They are NOT the same firm as the genuine one which is at joindeleteme.com. The site at deleteme.com is a fake!

This is not joindeleteme.com. Very confusing. They want you to buy credits and offer a free report that don't know is legit or not, but it isn't the same website and I don't know if it's legit. Seems sketchy.

For all the advertising they do with podcasters, simply googling or typing in the website does not lead you to an intuitive individual interface. Returning to the site to check your report is equally difficult to find. Seems like they have too many products listed which are not easily distinguishable. They could learn from the Five Guys menu.
